*Chris took Cassie by the arm and escorted her inside the dance. They took the scene in....spider webs, fake blood, zombies. It was like the Halloween dance minus the whole ape thing.
Chris found an empty table and held a chair out for Cassie before taking in the Monster High student body. Vampire girl, Frankenstein girl, yeti girl, undead girl...it was like the someone brought the Universal monsters to life. And made them girls.
The Hero High gang wasn't getting any weird looks which was good. Chris certainly didn't want a brawl to break out. Nope, everyone seemed accepting of them. Except...there was one girl with a pruney face staring at him. He looked behind him to see if there was someone else she could be looking at. No dice. Definitely him. And it was weirding him out.*

Jen's eyes sparkled as she went in, so many different skin colours. It was like a rainbow of people. It was true most of them looked like they'd been through some old school horror flicks and straight into Hot Topic immediately after but it was all pretty new and exciting. She saw the piranha pool and cursed her luck.
"Aw man, I never brought my swimsuit!" Jen sighed. She wasn't wanting to jump in nakie as she'd promised Bruce she would try to control her spontaneous nakie adventures.

Just as soon as they walked in Karen unfortunetly didn't hear her phone go off with the warning form Linda since the music was too loud!
"This is awesome!" She shouted to Jen who was checking out the Parana pool!
"Those are real paranas! That's so cool!"
"You mean hot! Am I right ghouls?" A flame haired boy came up to Jen and Karen and smirked a cocky grin. "So how about you and me set the roof on fire! YOW!" He spun around, dancing a little trying to get the girls to join him. "You ghouls are from Hero High! But at Monster High we sure know how to PAR-TY!"
He shouts and cheers and howles erupt from all around him as the party was started.
"So Lets Dance!!"
He takes Karen and Jen by the hands and drags them the the dance floor. or tries to.
Karen shrugs to Jen and says.
"Hey its a dance, he's more obnoxious then Jullian but, but we don't get too many dances..."

Jen shrugged. "Hey, nothing wrong with a flirting dance." Honestly Jen had been sold by him shouting the word 'PAR-TY'
"Hey let's see how many monster high puns we can do while we dance!" Jen laughed. "I'm going to be burning them up all night by this rate!"
Jen grabbed Karen and started dancing with her.

Achilles was one of the last to enter. he remained outside for as long as he dared try, leaning his forehead against Mysia and stroking his fingers gently down her trunks.
"So let me guess. This isn't your thing either?"
Achilles glanced up and saw that it was the green boy, Clawdeen's' neighbor, who had addressed him.
Achilles simply shook his head and answered, "No, it is not. I did not really wish to come but my sister and friends thought it would be good for me."

Linda arrived at the front gates to Monster High. This place was totally creepy...It was then she saw Vash wave over to her, there was some guy she didn't know right next to him.
" Linda! Over here..."
" Vash... and.."
" This is my friend, Jackson Jekyll, he goes to school here."
"Hey. Sorry you're missing out on your dance to help us out."
Jackson tapped his glasses.
" Don't worry about it. Anyways Vash I looked into those ships you were talking about.They'll be reaching earth orbit in about 45 minutes and their headed for Monster High."
Linda looked at Vash and then at Jackson.
"So boys what's the plan?"
" Jackson will keep track of the ships. While, you and I go in the dance and warn your friends."
" Yeah, all while avoiding Kori and all of Wally's past dates... their pretty tough."
" That's why we're both going."
Jackson cleared his throat.
"I think it's only fair to warn you. I've been looking into the situation and I have reason to believe a Monster High student is involved in this as well."
"It wouldn't be Clawdeen would it?"
"No.. I still don't know who it is yet. So, whatever you do be careful. Remember you are guests at this school and things which happen here may not seem quite normal to you."
Linda and Vash nodded. Jackson went off and found a bench where he sat down with his laptop. Whatever was going on was strange... it would not only have an impact on Monster High but perhaps all the schools ... all over a grudge.

*Chris took Cassie out on to the dance floor for a while. No matter what he was doing, the pruney face girl stared at him. Fast dance, slow dance, the robot(which he got teased about)....that the prune faced girl stared at him. It was creepy.
After several turns around the floor, Chris and Cassie ended back up at their table. He offered to get them something to drink and left Cassie to watch the human liplock, Scandel/Dani, to make sure they didn't die from lack of oxygen.*
We may need to turn the hose on them. Be right back.
*Chris headed off to the punch bowl, not even noticing that the prune faced girl was making a beeline for him.*

"So, you wanna dance with me?" Clawdeen finished up a dance with a sea-monster girl and spun over to Wally, who'd been chatting with a heartbroken Frankie Stein. Apparently, her boyfriend had stood her up with BOTH personalities.
"Sure!" Wally was pulled out onto the dance floor and the two of them danced the night away. This was nice. Wally relaxed a little bit. No gym-splosions. No other dimensions trying to suck everyone in. And even better - no girl drama. Clawdeen just wanted to dance with everyone. No girl making a loud sigh while hinting that she wanted a commitment, no Linda Park giving him the evil eye...
Wally glanced over at Cassie. She seemed to be having a good time. He still felt a weird twinge when he looked at her. Humiliation, maybe. It reminded him why pouring his heart out to one girl was such a bad idea.
Wally picked up Clawdeen and gave her a slightly hypersonic spin.
"Awooooooooo! That was fangtastic!" She howled as she came to a stop.

Having (finally) made his way into the school's auditorium, Achilles looks around and gazes at all of the interesting looking teenagers prowling about, having the time of their un-lives. It was a very good thing Wally warned him about the kids at this school because he had already seen a number of them that in ages past, he probably would have tried to fell with a swing of his sword.
Wishing he had stayed home or at the very least, remained outside with Mysia, Achilles finds an empty table and has a seat, away from the others and "people" watches.

*Chris jumped in surprise and turned to find the prune faced girl behind him. Right behind him. She had no concept of personal space.*

*A full minute almost passed before the girl rolled her eyes and sighed.*
This is the part of the ritual where you compliment me.
*She made an exasperated 'hurry up' motion with her hand.*

*An extremely pruney face.*

*Another uncomfortable minute passed and Chris sipped his punch for lack of anything else to do.*

*Chris spewed punch out of his mouth and the girl just blinked at him.*

Entering into the dance with Vash, Linda begins to look around for Karen and Wally.She sees Karen dancing around with some kid with flames for hair..
"Kar...Offff!"
Linda was getting pushed around by the crowds of students. The way these monsters partied it was enough to wake the dead.

Meanwhile, Cleo de Nile ran across over to Clawdeen.
' Clawdeen! Something's happened to Clawd..."
"*sighs* What now?"
"He's hurt! Bad!"
Clawdeen gasped and looked over at Wally giving him a peck on the check.
"Sorry cutie, looks like a dance will have to wait."
She then ran off following Cleo who lead her into a dark room about the size of a closet..
"Clawd? Clawd are you okay?"
Cleo then pushed Clawdeen into an open sarcophagus, closed it, and locked up silver chains around it. Clawdeen pounded and scratched at the sarcophagus..
"Hey let me OUT!"
Cleo smiled as she locked the door to the closet.
"I'm tired of you always stealing my thunder."
Cleo then got on her cellphone.
"West is clear"
She then walked back to Deuce and the party.

"-And so after I tried to enroll in Hogwarts, they did some research into my past and found out that my mom was the so-called "Wicked Witch of the West." Which came as a surprise to me, because I'm an orphan. Needless to say, Hogwarts denied my request to join their school." Liir Thropp was leaning on a pillar next to the wallflowering Achilles, who, to pass the time had asked Liir about himself.
It turned out that Liir was a little chatty, and more than happy to share his life story.
"So instead I came here and asked the Headless Headmistress if I could enroll at Monster High. As kind of a 'screw you' to Hogwarts, since MH is one of their rivals, y'know? Since I've pretty much been on my own and I have these abilities, I knew I had to go SOMEwhere to learn how to handle them, and to be honest, I'm not too fond of a lot of the politics in Oz. So of course, she said yes since Monster High's pretty liberal about who they let attend, and it was a pretty good thing since I turned green shortly after. Family trait." Liir shrugged, took one of the folding chairs and turned it around backwards before having a seat on it.
"Great school, though. I'm glad I wound up here instead of Hogwarts. It constantly reminds me of the fact that, no matter how bad you think you have it, someone's got it worse and they're dealing with it. The best any of us can do is help each other through life."
He watched Jenn dancing with Karen and grinned. "S'cool seeing other green people around. Hey. Sorry for chewing your ear off, man. Can I get you some punch or something?"

Cassie looked over at Wally, his date left for some reason and she wondered if she should go and talk to him. No, Cassie was sure Wally's date would be back soon, probably had to use the bathroom or something. She then looked at Chris who was talking to one of the Monster High girls... Why did he look so uncomfortable? Cassie decided to see as she got some punch and then went right next to Chris.
" Hi Chris, is everything okay... you look a little pale."

Jeez, Clawdeen had been away for a while. Why did girls take so long in the bathroom? Just what did they do in there? Wally looked at his watch. Twenty minutes now.
Suddenly, a small hand reached out and tugged on his coat. Wally turned around to face an ashen-faced girl in glasses.
"Uuuuuuggggh."
"Oh, uh...hi. You're Cleo's friend, right?" Cleo DeNile had been one of the girls Wally had traveled with in Trigon's dimension. Extremely high-strung, but when they'd tended to the wounded, she'd used her own bandages to help fix people up.
"Uuugh uuugghhh. Uuuggghh muuugrrrgh." Wally raised an eyebrow.
"Sorry, I don't speak zombie." The zombie girl sighed annoyedly. Still holding Wally's sleeve, she pulled him over to where Liir and Achilles were sitting.
"Oh, hey Ghoulia, what's up?"
"Uuugggghhh." Liir looked from Ghoulia to Wally.
"She says that Cleo's been acting really strange today, talking to herself and muttering under her breath. And that she saw Cleo and Clawdeen walking down the hallway a while ago, but only Cleo came back."
"Uuuuggggh uhhgggh."
"She says that there's a kid from Toonami Tech wandering around here with a girl from your school that wasn't part of your group, and she thinks that something strange is about to happen, judging from the fact that apparently Hero High kids aren't able to have nice things like non-exploded parties."
"Seriously?!" Wally grimaced. "Show me where this girl from my school is."
Ghoulia slooooowly turned and pointed....right at Linda Park. Wally slapped his forehead.
It figured.

Linda continued to try and make her way over to Karen but found making her way though the crowds challenging. Suddenly Linda tripped over something and tried to get back up. As she got up she saw Aspen in front of her.. Aspen smiled..
" I warned you not to get involved Linda."
" How...?"
" We bumped into your friend.... Jackson."
" What did you..?"
Aspen smiled.
" Kori's taking care of West right now.. "
It wasn't long before Monster High started a laser light show at the dance. Linda looked over at Wally... a laser aimed at him..at the other end of the laser was Kori, who was flying in midair holding a strand gun and aiming straight at him. A brief light was around Wally and then disappeared..
" What did you do?"
" Took West's powers away. He's normal now... heh.. Now to get Karen... "
" No"
" You can't stop me"
Aspen transformed into a being of water. Meanwhile Kori who was still flying above the gym shot Karen with the same laser she shot Wally with... taking away her powers as Aspen made her way to Karen. None of the Monster High kids could tell anything strange was going on since there was a laser light show going on. None except Cleo who standing near the door fidgeting a bit, she didn't even talk to Deuce much but instead drank her punch.
