"C'mere, kiddo." Khalid scooped Kai up, to prevent him from bothering Pegasus. "Can't you give a guy a break for five minutes? Let's get you something to eat." He went into the kitchen, plopping Kai down in his high chair. Ryou followed after him, because that was where the cake was.

Kai pouted slightly. He like it better when the people around him were happy. And being the smart kid he was he had noticed pegasus liked bunnys..well roger rabbit but he wasent that smart to tell the diffrence. But his pout quickly went away when he was ploped in his high chair. "kaaaliid!" Kai said. he was starting to get better with full names and not the nicknames he used when he was younger.
Kawi movedto help ember get to her feet. ember smiled and once on her feetthey headedtwards the kicthen.

"Gooood kiddo." Khalid muttered in a distracted manner. He considered whether or not Kai should be allowed to eat cake... Maybe he was still too young. Besides, he didn't want to have to worry about the consequences of stuffing him full of sugar. "You want some cake?"
"I'm a were-cat." Rei said proudly to Yugi, who gave her a smile and might have patted her on her head, had she not swiped at his arm with her fingernails. She grinned at his surprised expression and then skipped away, locating plates and forks.

"Cake cake!" kaisaid exsitedly. Pegasus had indeed spoiled then and kai knew very well what cake was.
"cake cake!" ember said playfully mimicing kai. Kawi giggled and walked over to yugi "So are youa were-kitty now too?" she asked playfully giving him a kiss.

"According to Khalid, blood has to be drawn." Yugi said pitifully, examining his arm. "So, yes, I'm not a were-kitty." He hung back as Pegasus cut up the cake and began to serve it to the others.

Kawi giggled and giggled him on the cheak. "Well good.I like you theway you are."
Once given a piece of cake kai dug into it eatting mezzly.

"But then I'd have nothing fuzzy to rub." Yugi said, thinking of the ears of tail. He had completely forgotten about the others in the room and was only too aware of how that sounded when Rei made an 'eep' sound and then burst out laughing.

"We'll scar Rei for life if she listens in." Yugi said quietly, but gave her a squeeze. "We can continue this nice discussion at another point, okay?" Luckily the girl hadn't stuck around to hear any more, and was busy demanding the biggest piece of cake from Pegasus, who informed her that if she ate that much cake she wouldn't be able to have any for breakfast the next day. Khalid scolded Pegasus for spoiling the child.

Atem had politely refused any cake, for the same reason he had refused a jelly bean. Pure sugar, this was. He wrinkled up his nose at the addition of frosting and began to wipe at it with his hand. Rei, who had icing on her chin, rolled her eyes as though this was very rude and handed the pharaoh a napkin.

"Just a little." Pegasus said, scooping out just a small portion of cake for the little boy.
Rei coldn't help but watch Ember curiously. "So who's going to be the baby's parents?" She asked cheerfully, getting a sharp look from Atem. "I've got three dads right now, and at least two moms. Ryou, Khalid, Pegasus, Kira, and Margaret. I think of them all as being my parents."
