I know pika-pika suru is glisten or sparkle but what is pika or pika-pika mean?

"Pika" is the sound effect for a bright flash of light. (Yes, we have sound effects for things that don't make noise.) "Pika pika" is like "sparkle." "Glisten" would probably be more like..."kira" or "kira~n" or "kira kira."
