"I'm with you on that one. The last... well all the other dances at this school seem very over infested with baddies of the month. I can't wait to just have a normal dance with a normal date."
She touched up her lip gloss in the mirror and smiles.
"I'm going with Scandal. She's my date, I'm really looking forward to showing her not all our date have to end horribly."
She pauses for a moment thinking about that....
"Then again the lack of bloodshed may strike her as being very dull... Gee I hope not... I'll have to find some was to distract her."
She shrugged grabbing her purse with the bare essentials in it. Blush, lipstick and eyeliner.
"You ready to meet the guys? We're going to have to pick up Scandal first."

::Scandal checked herself in the mirror. She wanted to excite Dani and she think she had succeeded. A black suit jacket with matching pants and small heels. But the key was that she wore no shirt under the suit jacket. Her cleavage had distracted Floyd Lawton when he stopped by so hopefully it would have the same effect on Dani.::
Knockout, I am off.
Whatever.
Is something wrong?
No. Go have fun at your dance with that girl. I don't care.
::Scandal blinked.::

::Knockout was acting so strange lately. Well, she would have to worry about it later. Tonight was date night!

Dani looked at the door, then went to open it, she was happily surprised to see--
"Scandal!"
Wow she looked amazing, amazingly hawt! Her outfit looked very expensive, and she looked amazing in it... yup... Dani had to blink away form her date to finally greet her with a kiss.
"That suit looks like a million dollars on you."
She wrapped an arm around her waist turning to Jen.
"You ready to hit the road?"
This was going to be a great night.

'...wait lack of bloodshed boring? Just what kind of date is this?' Jen wondered but then didn't say out loud maybe she'd heard it wrong.
"Yeah I'm all ready!" Jen said then she heard the knock. "Who do you think? The guys? Karen? Or maybe your girl?"
Jen stood up and got her small purse. She only had a bit of cash, some lipstick and her cell.
She saw Scandal enter and the girl gave her a quick look over. Jen sort of understood that the bloodshed part was probably right, that girl look like she was in the Secret Villains Club.

"Woah you two get a room." Karen said from behind them, walking past them with a nod to each.
"Candle, Band-aid."
Karen continued on into the room with no farther introductions.
"Sup Jen! Ready to rock Monster High?!" She gave her a high-five.
"Her name is Scandal! And I'm Witchblade! My name is Dani!" Dani gushed at the annoyance of Karen Starr. Who invited her anyways!
"Whatever." Karen shrugged. "C'mon let go find the dweeb and the blond cheerleader."

"Looking good Karen!" Jen said glad to see her friend. She felt like a third wheel next to Dani and Scandal. "I am ready to rock that Monster High, still got some Halloween dress-up stuff so I should fit right in."
She grabbed Karen's hand and tried to drag her out. "I hope Cassie and everyone are ready, guess Chris too. Hey is Wally going? I bet he's got another date. That guy has been on a major flirt mission."

Cassie was in her room getting ready for the dance. She wasn't too sure about being around the Monster High kids but if it would get her brother outta his funk then it was worth a try. She looked at her outfit in the mirror and nodded.

Kori stood on the roof of the girl's dorm, wind blowing through her wavy hair.
" Tonight... she'll be here tonight."
She looked up at the stars and smiled. Wally would be at the Monster High dance tonight, yeah she knew about his date. Kori had been keeping track of Wally for quite some time... from a distance. He would be in a strange school with even stranger students... it was the perfect opportunity. On top of which her 'friend' was coming to provide a welcoming distraction. Everything was falling into place... West would pay for messing with little girls hearts. Unfortunately Karen Starr would need to be sacrificed, sad but necessary. Still something came across Kori, sadness... no it was more like satisfaction.

Achilles stood in front of the mirror in his and Wally's dorm room, scrutinizing his appearance in the suit he was now wearing.
He growled beneath his breath, "How did I let Wally and Cassandra talk me into this?"

Wally buttoned one button of his blood-red sportcoat and swished some hair out of his eyes. Yeah, he looked good. He gave Achilles a winning grin.
"Now, ya know this is Monster High, not Hero High. That means there are going to be some kids there that LOOK sort of unusual, but they're not bad guys, got it?"
Achilles had been acting so weird lately that Wally was a little worried. What if he thought a two-headed kid was an attacking Hydra or something? In his current state of mind, Wally wouldn't put it past him.
He reached up and slapped a hand on Achilles' shoulder.
"Don't sweat it dude, okay? Didn't I tell you what Clawdeen said? No drama. This is for fun! Dance with who you want, kiss who you want!"
Wally paused.
"Except Deuce Gorgon. Don't kiss Deuce. I've seen what happens when his girlfriend screams."
Wally opened the door for Chris. He looked good. Wally looked good. Achilles looked good. They were good to go. He snapped open his phone and sent Clawdeen a text.
Coming by 2 pick u up. Prepare 2 be swept off ur feet.
She replied almost immediately.

"Huh? Oh, sure. Stabby girlfriend..." Wally looked over at the girl's dorm as they headed out. He wondered what Linda Park was doing today. Maybe some work on the school paper. Maybe she had a date with Teddy Kord.
Wally scowled. Why should that even matter to him?! She thought Kid Flash was cool, but that was just hero worship. In her eyes, Wally West was a jerk, a total playa. And so what? So what if he was? The girls climbed over each other to get a date with him. He couldn't count how many of them had asked him to go steady in the last month, but Wally West wasn't a go-steady kind of guy.
Because his track record in the go-steady department was so humiliating, not that he'd ever admit it.
Wally looked away and headed with Chris and Achilles to the stable. They'd be arriving at Clawdeen Wolf's house in style riding on top of Mysia. He didn't notice the eyes that were watching him from on top of the girl's dorm...

On the outskirts of Midvale several ships land. Emma Frost is standing there as if to meet them. Jedi High, they came to earth though they weren't here to mess with Hero High or any of the other schools for that matter. As Obi-Wan exited the ship he could see the intense stare of Emma.
" After that message I knew you would come Kenobi. Why is it you didn't want me informing Diana?"
" We don't want to start a panic. Nothing is cut into stone."
" Hmph! If you didn't believe that the Sith were coming you wouldn't have even bothered to e-mail me and you wouldn't have come here."
" This matter is none of your concern"
" You're wrong Kenobi! Earth is my home. Did it ever come across to you that perhaps the other schools could help? That we could make a great team."
" Do what you must and I will do what I must as well."
Obi-Wan turned his back to Emma and started back up towards the ship. Emma watched him quietly and then turned her back to the ship and whispered...
"We use to be so close... what happened?"
Emma then walked off and got her cell phone to call Diana.

Jen kept close to Karen, she didn't feel like butting in to what Dani and her girlfriend had going on. They seemed quite intense about each other. She caught a glance of Achilles as he headed off to the stables. At least there would be some eye-candy and she could maybe try to help cheer him up if possible.
"Let's try and get Achilles distracted tonight and try to have a good time." Jen said. She was in a party mood and ready to see what kind of dance Monster High had. Hopefully not one with invasions, demon dimensions or explosions.

Wally waved at Dani and Karen as they were making their way through the snow to the stable. His phone buzzed again.
Got room 4 1 more?
Sure, it's a big elephant.
Good, my neighbor needs a ride 2.
As everyone gathered, Wally felt like he should say something. After all, this was his kind-of-sort-of-not-serious-sometime-ghoulfriend who invited them all.
"Uh, hey everyone! We're gonna head out in just a sec here, pick up Clawdeen and her friend, and head on over to Monster High. Let's see if we can enjoy a dance without blowing up a gym, huh?" Wally clapped his hands together to try to make it sound exciting, but in all honesty, he was sort of anxious about that. Hero High kids had kind of a bad reputation when it came to social events...
