" How kind of you Hido . " Ayami said as she walked in the house passing by Hido and processeding toward the bar . " Give me a bottle of your finest sake ." Ayami asked the barkeep pulling out a fist full of money . "This should cover it . " Ayami said with a smile as she watched the money she had earn from the mission to the hidden slumber transform into a bottle of sake and two cups . The barkeep would smile as Ayami handed him the money and would allow them to use the booth in the private section which was usually used for important or rich visitors to the village . But it seemed to have like the extra tip Ayami put in his pocket. She would look back at Hido and smile as she made her way through a sliding paper door that lead to a room that was dim lighted set low as to not strain the eyes of the occupants . Taking her seat Ayami would then pour a little sake into the two cups and wait for Hido to take a seat . [181 words , total : 1132 ]

As the ice came around him demon snarled with anger, he couldn't move and his jutsu was stopped as if it was nothing. As she came over to him she was still in an adult form which really was starting to bother demon. As she touched him his mind began to come back to him. "The hell" he said as his eyes seem to appear, she was licking his blood off her finger tips like it was good. He moved back and fell to the ground, looking up at the sky with a sort of tired look."Not very good am I Alice" he said in a low tone, he couldn't control the seal at all, it just showed that he was a wild dog, not having any control over himself.

Hido stood grinning, "Of course Madame." He said grinning and turning behind her. Hido followed her into the Sake house, amazed when she ordered the finest bottle and payed with a large amount of cash. Wow this is a drastic change...typically I get the cheapest of whatever I can find and then live off of what I can find... Hmm this may be a good change from that. He thought to himself following her back into a private booth. His eyes mellowed out and he grinned at the dim lighting. He sat across from Ayami and leaned his head back enjoying the darkness that felt like a newly cast twilight. His shadow stretched spreading all across the floor of the booth, casting the area they walked on into total darkness. "Ahh I love the lighting in here." He said to Ayami as he sat down. "Thank you." He said bowing, thanking her for paying for the Sake and allowing her his company, as someone who typically avoided upper class environments (despite being born into the Nara clan, a typically rich high class clan) he had gained the habit of being very humble to those of a relatively high social class. "So, shall we?" He asked motioning towards the bottles and glasses. He would pour it, but it would be highly rude for someone who didn't pay to handle the Sake. He accepted the Sake smiling cordially and taking a small sip from the cup.

Alice smiled as she returned her body to its origional form, putting her cursed seal back into its waiting state. "you'll get better with time, my Puppy." she said with a smile as she drew one of her dolls over to her. she grabbed it once it was infront of her and went back to the pose of holdin the doll infront of her mouth. she looked at Demon happily, "don't worry, i've had my cursed seal for years. you've barely had yours. besides that, i'm probably a lot higher in strength then you are. after all i've already become a jounin." she looked at him and held a hand out and patted him on the head, "good puppy!~" she then pulled her hand back to the doll and began to walk towards the village, "come on puppy!~" she wanted to look for a place to eat as they had been training for a bit and she was starting to get a little hungry.

"Puppy" demon said getting up from the ground. "Guess I'll be that until I get stronger" demon said in a laughing tone. As he followed after Alice he thought for a moment. "Am I to be treated as your servant now, I am loyal to no one, especially not some young, mis conceaded, crazy...." his voice trailed off, he didn't have any strenght to continue, he was really getting tired. He looked over to his pup."Cizu let's go" demon said as the ypung pup ran past him and hopped onto Alices head."I like her better demon" he barked, he was joking of course but this just made demon shrug. "Hey whatever " he said in a low tone, his own dog had abandaned him.

Alice continued to walk around until they reached a little bar near the gates of the leaf village. she smiled as she walked in, she then turned to Demon and said, "now we should probably pay for our own meals, or it may look like a date." she said strictly to Demon, she didn't want anyone to think that way, especially since she was attempting to train him. she quickly ran forward to a booth and took a seat. "over her Demon! this should due just fine." she said waving for him to come over, like he hadn't seen her run off and sit down. she awaited the menu, sitting (hopefully) accross the table from Demon and his Cizu.

"It amamzes me, she acts so young...well she is young but....gahhhhhh" demon said pounding his head in, really this was getting to be rather frustrating having a teacher who can crush you but has such a....a...he couldn't even explain it. As he walked through the shop people looked at him in disgust or something."It's ummm not what you think" demon said to the on lookers, as he reached his seat he looked over to Alice."You could be a bit less....ummm childish maybe" he said to her, she was a child, but she talked and acted like a damn adult which was frustrating to demon.

A single black hand cracks free from the ground, that was supposed to be the grave of one, Slade Zetsu. Gropeing at the ground, the hand grips into the dirt, pulling and scratching at the ground, as more of the body slowly rises out of the cracking, freshly burried dirt. The start of the closed form, of the flytrap-like appendages emerged from the ground, along with the odd white hand. Moments later, the plain white arm emerges, after the shoulder appears. Now, pulling himself from the ground itself, Slade rises to his feet outside the hole. His flytrap-like appendages snapping open, as his odd yellow eyes slowly scan over the area. Dirt spraying spasticly to all sides, with the snapping open of the appendages. A small angry frown slowly forms across his lips, as he raises his hands and slowly dusts off his clothing, as best as he could. Already, dirt had stained the cloth, of his akatsuki styled plain black coat. His frown deepens, as he looks down at the wound in his chest. Amazingly, he had survived. Using on hand, he looks into the holeof his coat, to see the wound having become scarred. Oddly, he was not surprised by this, though he should still be dead, he was alive. Looking around again, he notices that he was within the Uchiha compound. "Revenge first... We'll figure out what happened, later..." Slade's dark half mumbles, as he walks away from his gave sight, and towards the buildings of the compound. "Where is she..." He asks himself, as he continues walking his irrational mind was saying to attack the compound, ravage and destroy until she was found. But due to being outnumbered, that was not the greatest of ideas. He sighs, now beginning to move through the Uchiha compound. Using his chakra, he runs up the closest wall, and onto the roof tops, before he began moving at a swifter pace, looking for Ayami, so he could get his little taste of revenge before he left for his own village, more likely then not, never to return to Leaf again. That would make things easier after all. Then he would not have to see her again, after all, in his village, he was safer then most. Correct? He nods his head slightly, as he continues to move. Now leaving the Uchiha Compound, and heading for the main village, once in side, he'd look for her in there. After all, that's where she must be, correct? He chuckles, as he continues moving, across roof tops, watching the streets below, almost angerly. This was a really annoying thing, he hadn't seen her anywhere now. Frowning, he drops form the roof tops and lands on the ground of one of the streets. Ignoring the glances from those around him, who were not used to seeing a Zetsu wandering the streets of Hidden Leaf village. He sighs slightly, should he just give up? What should we do? You tell me... Slade sighs once again, as he walks slowly along one of the streets now. His yellow eyes switching from one side to the other as he walks onwards. Wondering where she would go, from any past experiences that he had. had with her, in the past times. [560 words]

POP!"OUCH! What in the hell was that?" Raiken said as he was rudely interrupted from his nap. His beatufil eyes gazed up into the tree above to see a small tree rodent peeking back down at him. "What in the hell is your problem," Raiken yelled widening his eyes at the rodent. The rodent looked confused and continued on eating his acorn nut. Raiken was now highly annoyed by this rodent; he had woken Raiken up and aggravated him so. Raiken had a problem with things that annoyed him, he usually would rid himself of the nuisance by immolating it and old habits die hard. Raiken pointed a single finger at the rodent and struck it with a fierce bolt of lightning causing the rodents chest to implode. "That's better," Raiken said as he leaned off the tree and began to walk around the village in search of Ayami. "She is bound to be here somewhere," Raiken thought as he continued on walking through the village. "Wait, I have a better idea Raiken said as he began to walk out of the village and off to a place to train. 190

After about an hour of walking Raiken finally arrived at a huge plain of rich green grass. He laid down and began to relax. He then closed his eyes and began to dream of the old times when he first became a ninja.'Raiken sighed, his breathe taking in the essence of the village as he lay there, silently accepting the good fortune to have returned tot he place that he originated from. He could feel the air of reprieve around him as he relaxed, wished to let the palpable feeling wash over his body while he relaxed and ignored the reality around him, the one that had nearly shunned him from an early age, only to be overcome when he attempted to master the arts of the shinobi at the Academy he had been sent to. The scent of the air around him reminded him of the rain, even though there was none, and he could only assume it was related to the truth that resided in this village; the village of clouds, teh village of thunder. Yet, he told himself, there was no reason he could stay asleep, when he knew that there were duties to be met, and above all, he was still attempting to locate that figure he had lost a long time ago, who had been willing to wish him well when he thought that no other would care when he was dismissed from the village. It was enough of a reason for him to slowly open his green eyes, batting his eyelashes and raising a hand to finish the job, attempting to clear his sight as he rose to from the futon that he had been residing on, already prepared to relax longer than usual this day. But he knew that he could not relax, if he wanted to make it clear he was going to be of use to the village; he had only just returned from the time when they had sent him away in shame, and there were those who were still too ignorant to understand that he had become capable of all that they asked of him. So he sighed, sliding off of the white futon and reaching over towards his ornamental outfit, lifting the white shirt that he would place over his well toned midsection so that he could begin the new day. After that he stood, stretching a moment as the day's unique atmosphere lent itself to his opposition, reminding him that it would be of little importance if he actually slept again. Thus, he had to again dissuade himself from giving in to Hypnos' persuasions, and reaching over he hoisted his large sword onto his back once more. He made his way quickly through the household, heading towards the front door where he had left his grieves before. The brown travelling grieves were residing exactly where he had left them before, and it took him only a moment to put them on once he had grabbed the first of the pair of boots in his home. It was part of the matching outfit, and even though they were meant for journeys and strenuous activities he had never really used them for such and thus, they still carried teh gleen of new shoes. Raiken sighed, looking over towards the brown wooden door that separated himself from the outside, as he finished tieing the shoe laces together in preparation for the day ahead. Was it so simple, that if he didn't pass through such a portal, didn't cross that inchwide expanse of the doorstep he would not have to deal with the realities of the day, but could rather return to his slumber where life had seemed simpler than usual? He didn't know, but he had already made hsi decision and, lifting his sword that he had set aside only to put his grieves on once more, he walked the small expanse of three feet or more and touched his gloved hand to the knob, opening it so that he could be met with the real world once more. The door opened without a sound, testiment to the condition that it had been kept in while he was away, and he was reminded that he should be thankful to a number of the people who resided in hidden leaf, despite his previous thoughts that no one had been caring towards his plight while he was putting stress upon himself, day by day mastering the arts of the shinobi in an attempt to become a full fledged warrior that could be accepted by the hidden leaf that he had sworn to protect, even if they cared little for his existence, let alone his graduation. Had he failed, would they have simply ignored him, and shunned he and his family as if they were a plague upon the village? But the care they had spent on his house said otherwise, and so he realized to his slight dismay that he had been overly critical upon all of the villagers that he had scorned and who he had deemed were foul mouthed, idiotic people who he would never see in the same light again. Although he would not seem them as he had before his expulsion, he would in fact see some more carefully than he had before, and be willing to accept the apologies of those who were willing to offer them for thinking that he would not return before the end. Closing teh door behind him, Raiken couldn't help but look up at the gleeming sun just a bit, accepting the fresh rays of the day that greeted him as he did, caring little for the past as it shown gleefully upon the world as it always did, ignorant of the troubles of man. Could he be like the sun, and ignore the errors that men had made, when he had once been so gravely effected by them? Could he help to aid those who might, in time, only turn his efforts into foolish ambishions for war and destruction, where he had only promoted peace and thus, was gravely wounded by their misdemeanors when he had given almost everything he had for their people? Raiken didn't know if he had the strength inside of himse4lf to perform such just actions, but he was willing to try so long as the sun shown upon the lands, and as long as he had a debt that he needed to repay whether the earth itself stood before him or not. He couldn't help but feel, that it would be necessary to fulfill that oath, and as he had once heard said from others, and that he had taken to heart, to go the extra mile in returning the favor that he had once been given. Raiken turned, looking down the paved road to the side path that led to the back of his homestead, where he knew that the training area he had planned out would be. He had went previously to know if it was there or not, and he had recognized it as an excellent area for the practice of his sword techniques away from the scrutiny of those who wished to hold a grudge against him for his return. His padded soles touched the ground, and he walked along the dirt road to meet the place that he had arranged for. He turned his head only momentarily to view the garden bed that resided in front of his house, and smiled as he thought about who might have tended it. He certainly had the time, but he knew that he wasn't a fan of such things so much that he would spend precious hours of the day, and he could only assume that some kind person, perhaps one of the elderly women who had scorned him, had tended it partially to make up for their error years back, and partially because she found some satisfaction in the act. If that was the case, then Raiken was willing to let it happen all the same, regardless of the fact that he did not wish to be 'owed' anything from those who had believed in him, but rather he would let her continue on if she truly enjoyed the idea.Raiken turned the corner and lifted his sword off his back, taking in the scenary. Everywhere around him was a small patch of trees, making it a sealed off area in which no one other than onlookers from the footpath he'd just taken would be able to notice him. In the center there was a stump, and directly against the back of the house was a small cabin that he assumed held a variety of training utensils, all of which he was sure he would probably use at some point. In the meantime, he would practice the skills that he had learned the other day, and see if he could not master the few skills that remained to him as he waited for the day that he would be capable of putting them to use in the name of someone who was more noble than himself, so that he might repay that which he had been given. Turning and looking at the knee high pile of pieces of wood, gathered from the trees that grew in the small patch around him, he slowly decided which he would use for his practice. It really shouldn't have mattered, he thought for a moment, when he was simply practicing the skills of his blade that he had learned before, but he wanted to find a piece that would cut just as he had designed in his own mind when he practiced the maneuvers that he chose. On top, just to the right of the triangular stack, he recognized a piece that seemed to have minimal descrepincies and he decided that it was good enough, lifting the piece and placing the cut wooden log onto the stump that resided in the center of his homesteads backyard training facility. He lifted the large sword with his hands, taking the stance that probably seemed inhuman to others with the sword hoisted high in the air, and imagined the attack he had used before as he prepared to unleash the quick and devastating attack that he had learned before. "Time to...Cut and Thrust!" Raiken lunged forward, slamming the heavy sword into the piece of wood and splintering it in two. Before it had the opportunity to fall to the pieces that he had split it into however, he pulled with enormous force upwards and tore the sword out of the top of the surface, sending the two pieces towards opposite walls of the area as he grinned in satisfaction at the simple technique he had used. Apparently, it would be easier than he had thought to use his sword in practice of the moves he had learned before. Turning and looking at the stack of wood that was lain out before him, he decided that he didn't want to bother with such a pointless mess as sorting threw it again, and stabbing his sword into the pile he managed to send all of the pieces throwing up into the air, where he caught the first one within reach. "Ha, looks like you're the volunteer." Raiken threw the piece over his shoulder, his eyes lowering into a dark glare as his face took on a smirk, and he waited for only a second. Just as the piece reached his head heigh however, he turned and shot forward with his sword out in a stabbing motion. "Thrust!" He shouted, stabbing into the wood before it fell to the ground, holding the piece before him as he laughed in satisfaction. Training was fun at times, if not a bit childish. Luckily, he had long ago found a master who helped him to ignore the thoughts of image at times, and he could thoroughly enjoy such simple feats while he was in the presence of only himself and the calm day's air.Raiken sighed, deciding to pick up the mess that he had created. He turned, picking up the wood as he came to each piece, before stacking it in much the same triangular shape it had been when he first found it. Setting the last piece on top of the stack, he sighed again and looked towards the shed where he had seen things gathered previously. There had to be some more training items in there, but he had spent enough time and he wasn't making much progress with the simple techniques that he had practiced. Lifting his sword, he turned and viewed one of the trees that made the exact box shape that hid his training area from view, and thought for a moment. Then, running some chakra down the large blade in his hand, he realized that it might be possible to enact the skill that he had learned before, although without a living target such as another enemy shinobi, he was left with only the tree as a target to practice on. Still, it had sap running through it in much the same manner as water ran through a land where things grew, or blood flowed through the veins of another person, and it was possible that he could use it in order to halt the flow in the same manner, proving whether the skill was effective or not. He had never been put against a real opponent, except in their training battles at the Academy, and he knew that he wasn't going to use such a deadly art on someone who was not truly his enemy. Lifting his sword, he smirked and realized that the energy running along the blade was now thorough as he set himself to attack. "Demonic Sword..." He lunged forward, slashing across the trunk of the tree in a brutal attack as he showed his true power and finesse with the large weapon, turning and crossing it again over the opposite side. Finally, he brought the sword down in a large arc across the trunk, leaving a large verticle mark through the x shaped cut that he had left. He grinned, spinning the blade and latching it back onto his back as he watched the small bit of sap begin to leak out of the wound. He paused, knowing that there would be no instant reaction, but after a moment it continued to drip...and Raiken smirked, aware that the wound had been effective. "Well then, I guess all that's left is the ultimate combination of the Sinobi arts...if I can perfect this, then I'll be ready to follow the path that I have chosen." Raiken sighed, looking back towards the sun for a moment more as he decided finally to unleash the art that he had hoped to perfect. It was not an easy skill, and it was one that he hadn't mastered in his earlier days before he was forced to leave the village for training.Raiken closed his eyes, knowing that he would now need to focus an enormous amount of energy if he was going to perform the art that he had in his mind, which was still only a first step towards performing the second ability that he was focused on above the others. Raiken felt the flow to his eyes shut off, the chakra allowing him to heighten his senses as everything around him seemed to suddenly grow and garner his attention mroe so then he thought possible, as the chirping of birds in the air became clear and the flow of the water was something that was soothing and constant, happening clearly in his ears. He knew then that he had perfected the Heavenly Blade skill, and that he was capable of reacting with blinding speed when he was required so, now that he was one of those whose skills with the blade surpassed that of those who required their eyes for aid in battle. Lifting his sword to the level of his eyes, he grinned and opened them, seeing the blackness of blindness before him as he prepared for the final skill, thinking a moment more on the one that he had just performed. "Heavenly Blade..." It was a skill that he was sure few would see the uses of, until they had learned it if they were willing to go to such an extent. Still, as he felt his eyelads close once more, he was reminded why the Heavenly Blade technique was so useful compared to the others he had mastered so far, including the Demonic Blade and the uses of the thrust and elsewise. It was, in truth, the use of the next maneuver that made the Heavenly Blade's ultimate power so perfect. Now, focusing his truest chakra through the blade that he held in his hand at eye level, he realized that it was time to use the Lightning Sword, a technique that had been mastered by only the best of the Sinobi, and learn how to overcome the most difficult of opponents in means that were far more effective while taking less close encounter fighting than the others. It was possible to use from a distance, and thus keep the user safe, which would be useful in times, even though he knew that he much preferred hand to hand combat and the techniques that used close range fighting as the most enthusiastic warriors' choice. "Divine Blade!" The sun's rays focused down on the sword, and he felt the light broadcast forward in an intense ray of light as he unleashed the skill that he had been attempting to harness for some time. Dismissing the energy that had collected, he felt the chakra that he had flowing through himself return to normal ,and he at last opened his eyes again to the greenary around. "That's enough...I have more to do." Raiken sighed, walking back up the footpath and beaten trail as he headed towards the actual village, where he had come from the day before. He was going to do more business than usual, now that he was done training. It was at this time however, that he passed a small group of people, and he noticed that a fight had broken out nearby that involved a pair of fairly powerful shinobi. He wasn't interested in getting himself involved, and sighed as he continued on to the main part of town, thinking to himself about the fight none the less as he returned to his everyday life in preparation for greater things. "Why do they act so childish...? You would think that they'd be able to control their instincts for at least a little while, but instead they all act like a bunch of children." Raiken merely ignored the encounter however, and grinned as he reached the main area of town where there were a number of the hidden leaf villagers gathered that he would be able to buy from and, in possibility, learn more information from given his current quest... Raiken arrived in Cloud Village, looking up at the village with a strange sensation that was a mix with wonder and joy at returning, and a bit of antagonizing stress at the thought of returning to those who it was that had once been almost ready to throw him out without any regard for his feelings, due to his ineptitude at their skills. He had since increased his skills significantly, and he was ready to show himself to all those who he had once known in his trained and practiced glory. He was still just on the edge of town, and he thought he might practice the techniques he'd learned a bit more before he actually showed himself to the villagers. Pulling forth his sword that he had crafted himself, with it's unusually large blade, missing guard and enormous hilt, he prepared to practice one of the old arts of Sinobi clan that he knew from his previous training and that was much easier for him to master than any of the jutsus that he had to practice in other tiems. "Cut and Thrust..." He remembered the motions of the attack well, and taking his stance near a log, he visualized the attack. He stepped forward with the right leg, turning his blade and drawing it forward with immense force, before slamming it into the tree with extreme prejudice. The piece of wood splintered and nearly exploded with the force of the hit, almost halving the tree that he had hit with the bladed end of his enlarged sword. The large piece of would stayed for a minute in it's fixed position, before leaning and crashing down to the ground under the strain of it's baseless self. Raiken smirked, prepared to test his sword out against a slightly...larger opponent, even if he knew that he was in the wrong area for such practice. Raiken knew that the sword had always been his best use, and that if he was going to serve the Sinobi clan loyally then he would have to hone the skills that he was gifted with as well as the ones that he had been practicing to overcome, in the forms of his sword mastery and his jutsus. Looking around him, he attempted to find a suitable substitute to practice his arts on once once more, but the only item that made itself highly relevant for such practice was a large boulder that he knew had nominated itself for just such an occasion with a man such as himself looking for target practice. Raiken turned his feet, the light boots shuffling across the beaten path in near silence, his white cloths blowing in the wind that came constantly from the midst of the village whose source only a few knew. He hoisted his blade up in his hand, passing the golden sash he had tied around his waist and the insignia he had designed onto it that marked his loyalty to his village and his clan. He halted with the blade right at his chest level, pointed forward at the stone that he had chosen whose destiny it was to pass on, and smirked. "Thrust. Simple..." Raiken shot forward, his enlarged sword impaling the rock as a loud, audible crack shot out through the air, alerting anyone in the immediate vicinity to the rock's sorrowful death at last. No one would remember it, and Raiken would hold the prize for it's untimely death...the same fate that would meet all those whose wish it was to bring harm upon hidden leaf and the honorable people who lived there in peace, rather than those who were out hunting to destroy others at any one time. He withdrew the blade from the rock, smirking in satisfaction as the enemy of the village was decimated at last... As simple as the two striking arts were though, he knew they were impractical in most cases and that he would have to learn something of more legitimacy to make any wounds he could inflict painful to the enemies that he had in mind. One of the worst mistakes that any shinobi could make when in battle was to wound an enemy and let them escape back to their village, where it might invite worry and riots that could bring only misfortune to the originator of the wound's village and it's people. He wasn't willing to take such a risk in the name of the Sinobi clan, so he would have to develop, or at least remaster the technique that their clan had once made for occasions in which you defeated the opponent by letting their wounds never heal, to the point that their lives would be ended simply by the inevitable incapability of their body to seize their blood and return it to the source that it had originated from, letting them bleed to death in a gruesome way that, while some would disapprove of, Raiken felt would be wholly necessary in such cases. His former master had once told him that, while his practice of the basic seals wasn't very practical at all, he was much more developed with the blade and that in time he would allow him the use of the technique, just as any other member of the Sinobi clan was. He had been revoked that option when he was sent to the Academy, but now he was willing to learn it regardless of his master's orders since he had also overcome the weakness that the old man had spoken of, to prove his ultimate skills by the absolution that divinity provide in fateful battles. After all, no man was sent to battle without a cause, and Raiken could only feel that it was fate that intervened to guide his path, rather than mindless battles chosen by the hands of man as most would assume they were. Just as, on that day long ago, he had been saved by the graces of divinity so that he could learn the arts that he had since then and use them in the aid of one who had been willing to support him when all he thought was that he was no longer necessary in the world that the dwelled in, after he had been cast out from the clan for his 'special' training. Raiken had been on the edge of hidden leaf, much like he was now, but on that day it had been raining...and his sorrow had been mournfully accepted by the gods on heaven, who had deemed that he should not be given the position he was so hopeful for in life. He had torn off and thrown down the emblem of the Sinobi clan at the entrance of the building, and waited alone, outside of the village in his wollowing despair. His hair had been drenched by the torrential rain to the point that he was most likely unrecognizable since his hair was down, and he had been driven so inward by the fate that had crashed upon his weary head. It was then, that one shinobi returned to the outside of the village to see him...who had heard of his hurried escape, without knowing why, and who had come to listen to him speak of his troubles when Raiken had thought that he was sent forth by the entire village like a plague, rather than by the audacity of the master he had once served. "Get OUT! I hate you!" Raiken had cursed the enemy just as he had been cursed, ready to lash out at this imaginary foe the moment he planned to strike at the young ninja. However, he hadn't seen the face or he would have realized that it was his friend, one of the last of the Sinobi. He hadn't left thought, and when Raiken raised his head he asked him what had happened that drove him from the village. Many of the villagers had seemed uncaring as to his troubles, but he refused to just go with the flow and followed Raiken to find out on his own. With that understanding between them, Raiken had been willing to explain things to him, finally sharing the truth that he had kept hidden. His friend had only laughed though, and asked him if he thought that a bunch of old geezers like them were gonna seriously get Raiken down. He couldn't help but stare in almost shock at the audacity of the warrior, but after a moment passed he could tell there was no joke in his voice. It was then that something awkward happened...Raiken laughed, finally able to dismiss the foreboding words that had hung over his head ever since his master had explained to him just how 'he was a complete failure'. He had let the words get to him, but inwardly he knew that there was no such failure in his heart, and his abilities with a sword really were not to be underestimated, no matter what some other warrior had been telling him all along. He would go to the Academy, and he would learn how to master the skills that he required if he was to graduate and return as a full fledged warrior of the hidden leaf, and his ally had been the one to give him the confidence to ignore the voices that had been trying to dissuade him from becoming all that he could be in the name of their clan. He had almost even let his family's honor go to waste because someone that he had been 'obligated' to listen to from birth had told him as such; that he would be a failure in every possible way, and that he would never meet the requirements to be in the hidden leaf village and retain the honor that he deserved. Only now could he accept that the man, his former master, was wrong and that the skills he would demonstrate would show that he had surpassed what the idiotic person had once said. Drawing his blade backwards, he made a large gashing wound across the rock that he had stabbed before, using the technique that he had been trained with. If he had mastered it and used it against someone else, then the wound would never heal and they would slowly die before they were given the chance at a second life or a second chance to strike at the one who inflicted the wound. "Demonic Sword..." Raiken looked at his blade, knowing that it was willing to claim the lives of those who were his enemies, and that it was willing to provide him with the power necessary to eliminate anyone who opposed their village. If he hadn't retained his honor at this point, then he knew that it was something to cast off in light of his ultimate goal. He would not be dissuaded... Raiken swung his heavy sword over his head, slinging the large weapon onto his back as he prepared to return to the beaten path and the village where his life had begun. Raiken looked ahead as he began walking down the road, watching the electric based village pass across the area and seem to come to greet him, as he thoughtfully walked forward into the town he had left when he was younger and in less glory than he would be returning now. His expression was unchanged as he passed by all of the familiar buildings in their unglorified dignity, age seeming to have touched them very little, nor did he turn his head to acknowledge any of the familiar shapes or buildings that existed as he entered the central area where he imagined he would be greeted in some way, probably a mixed confusion of both loud applause and approval for his success in the academy and an ordinarily incomprehensible number of attacks at his shame for returning in failure from those who had never had faith in him in the first place, who would not know that he had succeeded where he had been told that, without doubt, he would fail. Instead of such failure however, he now wore the proud band of a shinobi of some sort graduated past the level of a student that he had always been considered below the level of. He stopped near the center of town, folding his arms and finally giving up on his gruff demeanor as he turned his head, looking about the village that he had left long ago, realizing that hidden leaf had stayed exactly the same; it was still his hidden leaf, although he had no part in making it what it was to this day other than the shame that he had narrowly avoided that had been cast on his people for a time because he was a master of the sword over the jutsu. He had once been asked if he would not rather prove himself as a samurai, but he knew that it was more of a mock question considering his not so humble beginnings as a member of the Sinobi clan and the noble hidden leaf village. The shinobi would most likely not accept one of their own growing up and applying their skills in another field, one that desired even more blood and power than that which they already sacrificed themselves to, and the samurai was a class that was entirely devoid of the moralistic loyalties that were bred amongst the shinobi. Besides which, he was well aware that he would be shunned from their clan if he was to leave their profession, and he had no personal desire to progress down that line of practice even with the skills he had developed over time. The life of a samurai, leading large groups of men into battles that relied heavily on tactics and very little on skills, was not the way he had been raised to respect when he had been taught the fine arts of subjugation, secrecy and stealth where there was finesse in all fighting and battles. The buildings were only slightly more tan from the heat of the sun that rose every day, every year he had been gone, and the medical buildings, homes and others were still exactly as he remembered them as he looked around. The people even seemed to look the same, as he noticed many familiar faces that had only changed for a couple year's difference since he had left and they all seemed focused on him as he now stood in the midst of their town, wearing the same cloths that he had left in with almost as much cleanliness as they had been when he left. It was his formal outfit that he had made to honor the Sinobi clan, and he hadn't worn it much since he left the hidden leaf so that he would be able to keep it as clean as it was when he left, and so that it could be the image burned into his enemies and allies alike when they viewed him after he graduated and became a true warrior after the Academy. Some of the faces he noticed now were even in duplicates, as their children now ran through the streets and did the same joyful games that they had practiced when he was younger, but they were far from grown and he knew that when they were they would grow more serious as they realized that they were put with the charge of defending the village from any intruders and keeping the piece for those who wished for no part of war. In short, he knew that they were all going to be summoned to protect their village one day, and with his knew maturity it was a sight that made him both glad to see them playing joyfully, and sad to know that any one of them could have the same threats placed upon them that he had once received. One of the villagers neared, the first since he had returned, and raised his hand as well as his voice as he shouted at Naniyori, apparently one of the ignorant few he knew would exist that hadn't heard of his achievements because of their blind, dumb, and deafness to the world. "So you're back already, are you? I wouldn't have thought a disgrace like you had the gall to return after he disgraced his family the way he did, and after you failed the Academy when you went there for so many years! You should just get out of this town before you prove how worthless you are to our culture; I wouldn't let you cut firewood if you asked, you're so worthless! Or have you been training that sword of yours for so long, while you could have been honoring us by learning some Jutsus? I always said they shouldn't have tried to put faith in you, when you were so ignorant of what it meant to be a shin-" "Shut up! In case you didn't notice, he's wearing a graduated headband, and he has a better feel of chakra about him in my opinion. Now I may not have any skills of my own except what we need, but it's obvious he graduated the Academy! Why don't you ignoramuses go away and let the young man settle back in after all of his training at the Academy? His family home's still intact and taken care of. Come here sonny, I'll show you the way..." The Old Man dismissed the other prattler quickly and motioned for Raiken to follow, but Raiken raised his hand and motioned that he hadn't needed to go this instant. Turning his head to look at the original complainer, he nodded. "It's true, I left this village with little skill, and I seemed to be an insult to our former master and teacher. However, it is not too much to say that he was inhibiting me, and now that he has retired I'm sure this entire village will prosper! I learned how to use jutsus through the careful masters of the Academy, whose intelligence far surpassed the old geezer that you once used as your ultimate mentor to the younger generation. That said, I have both mastered the jutsus that they taught in the hidden leaf village, and learned how to use my sword just as I had always envisioned the blade working. I have even mastered some of the more difficult techniques, such as the Heavenly Blade technique..." Raiken closed his eyes, relaxing as he focused on the skill he boasted. His ears seemed to heighten greatly as he relaxed, and he heard the man grumble about the damned traitorous kid, the one whose skills had been so mediocre all along. Raiken smirked as it stopped and he opened his eyes again, knowing that the man had no faith in him actually being capable of the abilities that had long been taught in the Academy to all shinobi graduates who wanted to make something of themselves. "If you'll excuse me, I wish to return to my home and relax after my long journey. Although your faith in me is endearing, I'm afraid I will not be able to stay here and show you just how much I have accomplished in the time that I have been away." Raiken turned, walking down the street that one of the older gentlemen had been planning to lead him down, and passed out of the more central area that he had been standing in before as he left towards the end of the village where his home had been for all those years. As he did he heard the clamour in the village finally begin to grow slightly, as word of the return of the supposed failure now changed into shouts of his success. It was doubtless that there would be a great deal of discussion over the matter until it was shown just how capable he had become, and he couldn't force himself to shed the smile as he thought of the awkward thoughts that would pass carelessly beyond the lips of those in the hidden leaf as they tried to comprehend how they had cast out such a candidate who wished to inherit his family's legacy. He reached a familiar doorstep, paused for a moment as he looked up at the glory that he had hoped to return to, and crossed the threshold as his grin instantly faded at the evident and realistic reminder that he had come from a line of sad events into the fate that he had now procured. He dropped his large blade against the wall nearby as he walked further inside to his room, and ignored the thoughts of going to battle or visiting the elders to speak of his return until he had dealt with the personal issues of returning home and remembering his life as a member of the Sinobi clan who had been cast out almost as scum. It was the instantly sobering thought to ruin a joyful day. Raiken swung his heavy sword over his head, slinging the large weapon onto his back as he prepared to return to the beaten path and the village where his life had begun. Alice began to chuckle at Demon, she found his thoughts funny. although she was probably the only one that did. "Oh, come now. if you want me to act my age please just ask, most people will probably find it odd that someone who looks like she's 12 could act like a 25 year old. besides, if i were to act like that at all times i'd have more responsibilities to uphold and take care of. by acting foolish and young i can do as i please. there is an upside to my actions." she said as she smiled at him. the waiter walked up right as she finished talking and she looked at him, and he looked at both of them, "well, jeez kid, aren't you a bit to old for her? haha, i'm just fooling around with you, what would you like to order?" he asked them, Alice quickly pointed to the ramen section in the menu, "we'll take one of each ramen if you'd please. and if you could can you bring us each some drinks, maybe some milk, and whatever else is good to drink." she said as she shooed him away to get the orders prepared. "so i guess that would be your first time figuring out how old i actually am. yep, 25 and i don't look to be much older then 12, hahaha. my clan has the best abilities, this body is actually a puppet disguised perfectly as a human, you cannot tell anyone that ever, its one of my safest guarded secrets. understand?" she said this all quietly, as she reached into a pocket and pulled out a picture of herself before she switched her body out for a puppet. she was the same age as when she used the oiroke no jutsu, except in the picture she was clothed. "so what'ya think?" she asked. lines 73(to this point)

Sipping her sake slowly Ayami would put the cup down to rest on the table as she spoke ." The reason i've ask you to come here is simple the world around us is slowly becoming too dangerous for one to travel alone . Me and raiken are looking for people to form a squad . Each with different abilities that could and protect us as we travel around . " Ayami would go on to explain taking another sip of her sake . Hido would start to notice her cheeks would turn into a light pink color . " Raiken has this doujutsu of some sort that allows him to gather information on enemies. I watched it in work right before the ramen shop was blown to pieces . " Ayami would give out sigh as she missed the ramen shop with a passion . But Ayami would quickly shake that out of her mind as she continued to explain more into her reasons for selecting the Nara for the team that was in the works . " With that ability we can gather a heck of a lot of information of shinobi and with a master of strategy of your caliber could use this information to find the best possiable course of action . You see where im getting at ? " Ayami would ask as she would stare into his green eyes that lost there shine due to the dim lighting . [ 228 words , total : 1360 ]

Hido leaned back against the chair, letting go of his Sake in mid-air. He watched the Sake cup, held up by one of his vectors, spinning it lightly considering the offer. Hmm with a team, things like fights would happen less often, thus removing the effort put forth to find, or stumble upon fights and end up being thrown into them... even so the fights we get in would be split amongst the four of us so it would still be less effort put forth up until now... but then if we ended up going into the exams together there would be the sense of honor we couldn't shake off. Then again if it came to self advancement it would be a simple matter of submission and not death.... He mused, the cup floating to his lips. He leaned his head back, the cup following and downed the rest of the Sake in one drink. "Hmm a team... would be more efficient... we would never be alone..." He said aloud, more to himself then anything. He felt the familiar assurances of all of his other personalities and sighed. He sucked his shadow back into him, dropping its chakra drain completely and set the glass down. As the glass clicked to the table he leaned forward staring into Ayami's eyes. "Hmm sounds good, count me in." He said grinning smugly.

" But keep in mind we are not out to cause chaos . I wish to be different , There is a polar opposite to everything in the world it's a natural . I don't know if you understand me but for Every bad there is a good . We are play our positions do what necessary to keep balance. " Ayami would say with a serious look on her face .She seemed to be rambling on it was if the sake was hitting her . " Maybe i pushed it a little ." She said putting her hand on her face and started to massage her temple . She would her stay silent . " Just understand no unneeded death . But power is a must ." Ayami would place her hands on her lap . and remained silent . [ 125 words , total : 1485 ]
