Linda smiled... this man made her heart race.
" Maybe later we talk about it over dinner .. I mean talk about the winner."
Linda was blushing as she laughed nervously. Kid Flash was just to hot for words. Plus this made a boring old story about the ice festival interesting... a race between Kid Flash and Superboy. She was so there... she had to go in her closet and get out her Kid Flash shirt... they didn't sell Kid Flash shirts in store but Linda found a way to make her own. He was just way to awesome for words.

*Chris had explored the rest of the house. He checked the bedroom(another shotgun trap to the chest) and found a huge bed and another fireplace. There was a large closet(another shotgun blast to the chest) and a nice bathroom(and another shotgun blast.)*
Ugh...this place needs less shotguns.
*Chris wandered into the kitchen. He hoped there was no left in he fridge. That would be so gross. He opened the fridge and BOOM!*
WHO PUTS A SHOTGUN TRAP IN A FRIDGE!? This Logan dude was nuts!
*He noticed a door off the kitchen that he missed earlier. Upon opening the door, Chris found stairs leading down to a cellar. There was a bunch of junk and another door, this one made of steel. Weird.
Chris opened he steel door and found a long tunnel with piping and electrical conduits. He couldn't even see the end of the tunnel. In fact...that direction was the school, wasn't it?*
Wow...he tapped right into the school's utilities. It's stealing power, water, sewer...
*This was crazy, And it was all his now. Logan abandoned it and, well, finder's keepers. Chris laughed and shut the cabin back up before flying back to the school.*

POWELL! Pay attention!
*Chris picked himself off the ground and shook his head. Mr. Rogers was giving him a workout in his Avengers lesson and he was daydreaming about cleaning up that cabin. He'd have no time today because the Monster High dance was tonight and Cassie was looking forward to it. Chris wasn't sure about it, those kids were a bit....off.*

Jen was in her Freshmen Home Economics class, learning about the joys of chocolate. All in time for the impending doom that was Valentine's.
She had hoped for something lame like making macaroni cheese but nope, seemed the teacher Ferdinand was determined to make everyone into the spirit. The minotaur had defied all objections from the non-dating students and insisted it was just part of the lesson syllabus.
'Well I guess I could make some self-pity single chocolate...'

Unlike Jen, Karen liked Home Ec. It was free food that you got to make. Whats not to like? Karen was two rows down and one to the left of Jen so they couldn't talk as much. Sed have to find another way to get her attention. she looked kinda outa it.
She flicked a chocolate wafer at Jen, then popped one in her mouth. Not bothering to hide her obnoxious chewing.
*Points to Jen then herself*
'You. Me.'
*She did a little jig, then stopped, pointing down.*
'Dance. Tonight.'
*She mocked clapping twice.*
'Fun. Yes.'

The wafer hit off Jen's head and landed in her melting chocolate. She mixed it up, maybe it would add some crunch to her truffles.
"A dance? Where at?" Jen said. "It better not be a Valentine's Dance, I may end up smashing stuff."

She made a 'Grr' face, and some scratches with her hands to signify claws as she was so far away she;d have to shout to answer.
'Monster high'
She mouthed the words back to her.

It would be awesome, she hoped Jen would go with her. Besides she figured Jen would fit right in. and no one would miss with her.

Jen smiled and gave her thumbs up. The teacher had turned to check on he and she just seemed to be making her chocolate chunky.
"I think you best concentrate at the task at hand Jennifer." Ferdinand said.
"Okay...okay..." She gave a glance over to Karen's table and shrugged. Her chocolates were going to end up some sort of congealed mess.
Jen was too busy thinking about the dance, Monster High? She vaguely remembered the stuck up girl Cleo she'd met from there. All the other students looked...well unique and not as stuck up as Cleo. She could definitely find some fun.

Her chocolate cooked pretty well, she managed not to burn it. But it tasted even better, she would know! When the time came to submit their final projects...
Karen didn't have much to turn in... sweatdrop She held the small plate in her hand, and placed it on the teachers desk.
Ferdinand looked at her work with a disproving glance. Her chocolate item was far smaller then it was supposed to be, a small piece in the shape of a heart with white chocolate drizzle. That was it.
"Is this it?" He said, delicately picking it up to inspect it. It looked ok,
"You should have spaced out the drizzle more..." he put it to his mouth and took a tiny bite. flavoring it lightly, he looked back and forth, then glared at Karen.
"B-, next time try not to eat all the food before you present it. It may have saved you a letter grade. And your hips as well." He waved her off. shouting "NEXT!"
Walking past Jen, she rolled her eyes, 'everyone's a critic...' but whispered "good luck."
When classes were over, they were so going to rock Monster High's Dance.

Being in classes on a Saturday sucked, but everyone had to do it because of all of the recent strife. At least it wasn't a full day. Wally sort of spent the day in a blur. He was thinking about....what else?
Girls.
Aspen had seemed ticked at him and just vanished before the end of their date. Like he could help that there was a robbery happening! Wally still stung from failing to capture the bandits. But there was little he could do about it now unless those bandits showed their masks in public again.
And then there was Linda...oh, Linda. It was so needlessly complicated. She had all but called Wally a rat to his face, and then told Kid Flash he was awesome and sexy. If he unmasked to her now, she'd probably lean closer to the 'Wally' side of that equation and think he was a jerk for life.
Ugggghhh.
Wally's phone vibrated after his last class of the day. He checked his texts.
Hey sexy, u still up 4 the dance tonite?
Clawdeen Wolf. She was cool. She 'got' Wally, and although they flirted hardcore, they both knew it wasn't serious. Maybe getting his party on would help him forget girl troubles for a while. Wally texted back.
Hellz yeah. Bringing all my peeps. U bring ur creeps. Party on.

Jen was pretty much ready, she had just thrown on a top and a tattered skirt together. She only had one dress big enough for her but she'd worn it at the 80's dance. She knew Chris would be there but she'd need to get used to seeing his face and not tormenting him. No matter how much fun it was, his now girlfriend Cassie was really nice and Jen was sort of hoping she'd be her friend.
Jen looked at her home made chocolates and sighed. She had hoped to save money and give them out on Valentine's day to her friends. They were not appealing to look at and looked like mini mud pies. The taste though was passable.
'Think I might give them to Bruce then.'

Karen didn't know what to wear! If this was a monster dance did that mean she'd have to dress as a monster?! Or could she wear normal clothes?Ugh! What to wear!!
Sifting through her closet once again the close there thrown and tossed about with our a care. Had Linda Park been a clean freak she would have scream at that disaster that was their room. Thankfuly, Linda was cool with Karen's fits of clothing drama.
Finally she decided on something simple that she could layer over with. Her signature white clean, pressed button down, with blue pants, some red pumps, and a hot shade of popping red lipstick.
She fluffed her hair a little and was out the door to go to Jen's room.

Dani had been looking forward to this date with Scandal for quite some time. She had her enter look all set up days in advance, she was prepped, primed and ready to dance the night away. Her outfit consisted of a pretty white dress with a black leather jacked to keep her warm, not that Scandal couldn't handle that aspect of the cold winter months. She was very good at it.
Now it was time to head out and meet the gang so they could all go to the dance.

Jen looked over to her room-mate Dani. "You look really great! You got a special someone you're going with?"
Jen touched up her make-up and took a last look in the mirror. "I hope tonight's dance will be fun, with no invasions or demons.... it would be great to just have a party with everyone."
Jen knew that might be a bit much to ask but she was feeling optimistic for this dance.
