"Well I really cant drive...If you dont want to come i'll take a taxi" Ember said. "It's just a check up..they'll be doing a sonogram to see how the baby is doin."
Kawi let out and fell back. She squirmed with yugi on top or her,tickling her "noooooo" she said laughing like crazy.

"Oh, I'm perfectly willing to go with you." Atem said quickly. Had he given that impression? He hoped not. He heard laughing from the kitchen. "Don't burn the popcorn!" He called to his hikari. It had taken days to get the smell of burnt popcorn away.
Yugi grinned at Kawi when he had her at his complete mercy. "I win this one!" He cheered, hopping to his feet. At his yami's warning he rolled his eyes, but hit stop anyway and pulled the bag out.

"Alright" ember smiled and gave him a kiss.
Kawi took deep breaths once hegot off her. Sitting up she grinned. Once he set the bag down kawi tickled yugi from behind.

Yugi let out a startled shriek of laughter. "N-no fair!" He gasped between laughs. "No using sneak attacks!"
It was no surprise to Atem that his hikari didn't hear the knock from the front door, what with all the noise he and Kawi were making in the kitchen. He kissed Ember briefly before getting up to go answer it. "You guys didn't take as long as we thought." He said, trying to sound friendly, even with Khalid there.
"Cell phones, pharaoh. They can be used to call people even in the car." Khalid responded coolly. Atem frowned but stepped aside to let them in. Khalid had his arms wrapped posessively around Ryou, and didn't seem like he would be letting go any time soon. Ryou looked perfectly content with this.
"You guys, they're here." Atem called into the kitchen. He went back to the couch and settled down next to Ember once more. "What a bunch of monkies. I can't hear myself think."

Ember smiled from her spot on the couch.Getting up and down was being reallyhard for her so she just waved from the couch "hey guys!" she said happly.
Kawi stoped tickling yugi and gave him a kiss "I win"

"It's a tie." Yugi said defensively. He dumped the bag of popcorn into a bowl and vanished into the living room before there was any room for argument.
"Greetings, Ember." Khalid said with a slight nod of acknowledgement towards her. Ryou just stared rather blankly. "You'll all have to excuse him. He's still rather in shock." Even though he knew he would be permanently dead in seven days, something that had never happened to Khalid, the guy still acted professionally.
"Well, you two are picking the movie." Atem said, snuggling close to Ember, mainly for warmth. It was chilly outside. "The collection is over there, just choose what you want." Khalid deposited Ryou on an armchair and the boy curled up tightly as Khalid examined what movies they did have.

Kawi smiled and followed yugi out "ello" shesaid to khalid and ryou.
Embersmiledsoftly "thats ok" she said and snuggled closer to atem.

Yugi chirped out a greeting of his own to his friends and then settled back down on his spot on the floor. "Nice hot popcorn!" He said, offering the bowl to anyone. Khalid was skimming his fingertips over the DVDs and chose one at complete random (I really don't care what it is). He put it in and then went back to the armchair, scooping Ryou up. He sat down and then set the boy down in his lap as they prepared to watch.

Ember smiled and took a handful of popcorn munching on it.
Kawi sat down beside yugi giving him a kiss and snuggling close.

The movie started, but that didn't seem to affect Khalid and Ryou, who were having a mumbled conversation off to the side. Yugi politely ignored them-- he was just glad that they had been able to come over. He was glad Ryou was no longer dead. Hopefully things would go back to normal, sooner or later...
[That's about all I have planned right now. We can skip whenever you'd like.]

[I'm trying to think of a way to get the Yugi/Atem group to be with Ryou/Khalid... I've got things I want to post mainly for Ryou/Khalid, but you've got no characters over there. Any ideas?]

Khalid and Ryou had gone back to the mansion after the movie. The next day had passed without a word from either of them, and the day after that, they got a call. It was from Pegasus, and while Atem hadn't exactly been happy to hear from the guy who had once tried to kill him, he was glad to accept his offer. Pegasus was trying maybe a little too hard to get on their good sides, and wanted to throw Ember a baby shower. Atem had grudgingly agreed, and Yugi had been more than happy to go.
Rei was waiting by the front window. She didn't really know what a baby shower was, but it was a party, and she was excited to see other people. Something scary had happened and the next thing she knew she had been whisked away by Pegasus. She had been taken to duelist island, and had just been brought back to her father. "When will they get here?!" She whined, hopping from foot to foot.
"Soon enough. Calm down." Khalid ordered from his spot on the couch. He wasn't too thrilled by teh idea of everyone coming over, but he supposed it was best to get this kind of stuff out of the way. Ryou was in the playroom with Kai, who he hadn't seen for a while, and Khalid was fine to leave them alone. "Why don't you go outside and wait? Then they'll know what house to come to." Rei turned and stuck her tongue out at Khalid.

kai was thrilled to be playing with his father. He was starting to walk now and was talking better. right now he wasplaying with his plastic farm animals with his father. He was holding onto the cowand making mooing noises.
Kawi who had loved the idea helped set up everything with yugi and pegasus. "They had a doctors appointment before this. They should be here soon" kawi said.
Ember was in there car, They had just left the doctors. The baby was growing strong and helthy. She looked over to atem who wouldent tell here wher theywere going. Apparently it was asurprise "Want a jelly bean?" ember asked.
