Yugi plopped down on the floor with a bag of chips he had located. Atem had joined the ladies and Yugi offered the bag to him. He shook his head curtly and Yugi just grinned and took out a handful for himself to munch on. Atem sat down next to Ember and hit play.

Ember smiled and rested her head on atems shoulder. Kawi nuzzled close to yugi.

About halfway through the movie, the phone rang. Yugi let out a disappointed groan-- it was just getting good. Atem hopped up and answered it. "Yes?" There was a pause, and then he made a strange sound. Could have been happy, could have been angry. "Are... you had better not be kidding. Put him on."
Yugi twisted around to look at his yami, who was using a cordless phone and came back, sitting down on the couch. "Don't get mad." Yugi said warningly. He didn't want Atem to lose his temper. "Who is it?"
"Khalid." Atem grumbled, covering the mouthpiece with one hand. "He says he's gotten Ryou back, and--" He broke off when there was a reply on the other line, it seemed, and he listened intently.

"..Really?"Ember said her attation take from the movie. She turned to atem payying alot of attation.
"put him on speaker!" kawi said happly.

"Hold on." Atem said, either into the phone or to the others. He pulled it away from his ear and gave it a slightly confused look. Yugi sighed and took the phone from his yami, locating the speaker button and pressing it. "You there?" Atem said in a slightly louder voice.
"Y-yeah." Ryou said hesitantly. He never liked talking through phones. Khalid was sitting across from him, his violet eyes narrowed in slight irritation at Atem and his bossiness. "Um, I guess you just put it on speaker. Hello, everyone, whoever's there..."
"Hiiiiii, Ryou!" Yugi chirped, feeling giddy. "You weren't dead for very long at all! I'm so glad you're okay!"

Kawi yet out a happy squeek "Hi Ryou!! you two should come over! Were having a movie night!" kawi said happly.
Ember smiled "Hey ryou."

"Oh..." Ryou was quiet for a little bit, and they could hear a muffled response from Khalid. "I'm not sure... Khalid only has seven days..."
"What d'you mean?" Yugi was confused. "Did he watch the ring video or something?"
"Yes, Ryou, what do you mean?" Atem asked, frowning a little. He hadn't had much time to actually talk with Ryou before he had to be put on speaker phone. "And how did you even get alive again? I thought Vadin..."
"Khalid offered Vadin a trade. He's going to hell in my place, but Vadin was... nice enough to give him one more week." Ryou said softly, sounding a little sad but also angry. "I wouldn't want to leave him or anything..."
"He can come too!" Yugi said cheerfully. "We can start a new movie if you want. You'll still be spending time with him. Come on, we want to see you!"
"He says..." There was another pause. The two seemed to be talking. "Okay. I guess I can come. He's coming too, if it's really all right..." Ryou was hesitant to be around them with Khalid, especially after all that had happened.

Ember smiled "We don't mind at all. We only have popcorn and chips so if you want somthing else to snack on you'll have to bring it."
Kawi smiled "you can pick the movie! ember sure has enough."
Ember stuck out her tougne "I like my movies. It's not like I can get out much."

"Um, okay." Ryou sounded vaguely uncomfortable to be talking with them all like this. "Khalid needs to do some things first, but we'll be over soon..."
Yugi couldn't help but 'hee hee' at this. "Oh, I get it. You just got back and all. Well, take as long as you need to be together, we don't mind." Atem gave his hikari a confused look before realizing the implications, and then he leaned over and smacked Yugi upside the head.
"What?" Ryou had some trouble realizing what Yugi meant as well, but when he did, they could practically hear him blush. "Oh, no...! No, I meant, he has to call Pegasus and get him to bring the kids back as soon as he can. Jeeze, Yugi, get your mind out of the gutter..." Besides, he thought, him and Khalid had already had plenty of quality time before calling Atem.

Kawi couldent help but giggle as well and gave yugi a kiss. "Mindin the gutter huh?"
Ember just rolled her eyes "Take your time.Were not going anywhere."

There was a slight shuffling sound, and Khalid was the one to speak. "I can only imagine what you people are talking about. Well, goodbye." He hung up, deciding that the phone conversation had gone on long enough, and anything else that needed to be said could take place at the apartment.
"Jerk." Atem couldn't help but grumble at Khalid's abrupt goodbye. He still didn't like the guy, not after he had nearly killed Ember. "Do we have to let him come? I'm fine with Ryou, but come on..."
"Of course we do." Yugi said, after kissing Kawi back. "You heard Ryou. Guy gave up his own life to help him out. Don't still hold a grudge." He looked at the half-eaten popcorn bowl. "I'll go make some more." He said, hopping up to his feet.

Yugi shook out one more popcorn bag. "Hey! This is your last bag of popcorn!" He called into the living room, before tossing it into the microwave.
"I'll try..." Atem muttered back ot Ember. He flinched slightly at Yugi's yells. "It's fine!"

Ember smiled and reseted her head on his shoulder "Oh and thedoctor should be calling sometime this week with my appointment date."
Kawi giggled and wraped her arms around yugi as they waited for the popcorn to pop.

"You need me to come to that?" Atem asked, maybe a little nervously. He was very cautious about this entire pregnancy thing-- he didn't want anything to go wrong.
"Stop that, you'll distract me." Yugi said playfully, wriggling out from Kawi's grip. "I have to count the pops." He only waited five seconds after this lie before he lunged at Kawi, determined to tickle the breath out of her.
