::Clark was nervous. His first real date with Lois! And after that kiss. She had totally kissed him. He literally walked on air for days after that. He approached Lois's door and checked his outfit again. He was as ready as he ever could be. Clark knocked softly on Lois's door.::

::Lois paused before opening the door. Was she supposed to make him wait or something? She frowned, trying to remember the lessons her mother had tried to nag into her.::
"Just a minute!" she called and then made him wait 5 before stepping out. "Sorry about that, I just had to touch up my makeup"

At the festival Linda took a few interviews and some pictures.. So far it seemed like a nice day. It wasn't long before she bumped into Ted Kord.
"Hey Linda.. Nice festival huh?"
" Yeah, Clark asked me to do an article on the festival for the school paper"
" Cool, mind if I join you?"
Linda lifted up an eyebrow at him.
" As a friend I mean."
" Sure Ted. I could use the company."
The two walked side by side talking about different things about the school.

::Lois narrowed her eyes as they got near enough for her to see Linda. That girl was always trying to be her. What was up with that anyway? She supposed she should be flattered. Yeah.. she'd go with that::

"It's the most fascinating thing in the world, don't you agree?" Aspen, wearing an outfit completely inappropriate for an ICE festival, cuddled up next to Wally to keep warm as they admired the sculptures people were creating.
"Huh? What is?" Wally twitched a bit. His mind was roaming, though he didn't know why.
"Water, silly! It's just my most favorite thing in the whole world!"
"Uh, yeah, water...fascinating." Aspen, it turned out, though hot, was about as interesting as her favorite subject, water. Plus, she had the LONGEST torso Wally had ever seen. It wasn't something you noticed till you really REALLY looked. And it was really starting to bother him.
"So, have you ever thought about settling down with one girl, Wally?" Aspen's breath tickled his ear.
"One girl? Oh, word, yeah, I guess I've thought about it..." Wally trailed off. Wait, wasn't that....Yeah, it was! Linda Park, and she was walking around with Ted "Mouth Breather" Kord! Wally rolled his shoulders, turned to Aspen and half-grinned. "But no way, baby. There are way too many hottie boom botties in the world to enjoy to ever settle down with just one lovely lay-day."

::Clark made a beeline towards a stand selling hot chocolate. He noticed Linda looking at him across the street and he gave her a thumbs up. Unfortunately, this caused him to blunder right into Aspen and Wally.::
Oops. Aspen, Wally...sorry. I wasn't looking where I was-
::Clark looked at Aspen and then Wally and then back to Aspen. He wasn't with Linda. Clark sighed. I guess it didn't work out, he thought.::
So, sorry. I was on my to get Lois some hot chocolate.

LexCorp agreed to sponsor this event a year ago, Lex. YOU promised to be here. You can't ignore your obligations to the company. People will get suspicious.
I was finally making progress with the amalgamation of the Terrigen Mists and the so called Kryptonite! This is the last 'obligation' I will attend...until Hero High's graduation.

*Mercy glanced at the ten thousand dollars in cash on the table next to the award. Why Lex didn't bring one of those giant, fake checks was beyond her. He just told her to be ready for anything and brought the suit case.*

Linda smiled as she saw what looked like Lois and Clark on a date. They were cute together, whether Lois realized it or not. She then saw Aspen with Wally... Aspen seemed a little upset about something as she left Wally for a minute to use the rest room. Linda looked at Ted..
" Excuse me a minute Ted I gotta go take care of something.."
" Don't do anything to rash.."
Course there was no point in telling Linda anything she made her mind up as she walked over to Wally.
" Look I know it's none of my business but I thought I should give you a fair warning.. Some of the girls you 'dated' are getting upset with you. Mostly because they never make it to even a second date and a lot of them for some reason or another actually liked you. It's right to go around playing with people's emotions. Also you should know Aspen really likes you, it's not right to mess with her emotions just to enlarge your own ego"
Ted had a worried look on his face. Not that Linda was wrong... there were rumors going around about some of Wally's ex-dates wanting to gain some sort of revenge on him. But no one would dare tell a popular guy like West not to date every single female he laid his eyes upon.

"You're right." Wally glared at Ted. Really? That was the guy she was going out with? Wally felt his face turning red as he thought about that crazy-weird confession he'd blurted out yesterday. In that article, at the end, she'd written something that had stuck with him. About being there if he needed her. But all that was was probably just good copy to end a report with. Wally tried to will his cheeks to stop blushing and hoped it just looked like it was because of the cold. "You're right, it's none of your business. Every girl I go out with enjoys a little time with the Wild Wild West. Now if you'll 'scuse me, my lovely date said she wanted a snow cone."
Wally resolutely walked over to one of the vendors and pulled out his wallet to buy Aspen a snow cone, deliberately turning his back on the reporters to show he was done with them.

::As Clark waited for the two hot chocolates, he looked around. The ice sculptures were well on there way. One man was carving a dragon and a woman was sculpting a dragon. It was pretty neat. Clark blinked in surprise when he looked at the raised dais.
Not because Lex Luthor was here but because the bald twenty year old was staring daggers at him. Clark had never had an encounter with Luthor but the man's glare was so full of hate. Maybe he mistook Clark for someone else.
Clark accepted the two hot chocolates and made his way back to Lois. And of course she was trying to eavesdrop on Wally and Linda.::

Linda looked at him. What a jerk! How could anyone mistake this guy for being Kid Flash?! Linda turned around and walked off with Ted... she looked over Lois who was trying to hide... like it had anything to do with her. As Linda and Ted walked away they later on were stopped in their tracks by Kori.
" You shouldn't have done that Linda. Why do you care what happens to West? Besides we're all in agreement.. if Wally dumps Aspen he's gonna get it. He's dumped one to many girls and thinks it's okay. He's a jerk and he deserves what's coming to him."
" He may be a jerk... but all of you knew that before you even went out with him. All that talk about 'oh maybe I can change him' Who the hell did you think you were fooling? Yeah he dumped you but you knew he was gonna do that from the start. Besides it's like any of you were going steady with him... one date West."
" Hmph! He use to not be like that. He use to have a steady girlfriend and everything... But lately he's just been using us."
" And you let him. Co'mon Ted"
Ted didn't follow Linda...
"Ted..?"
" I just don't get it Linda. I don't get why you stand up for him. I mean you clearly don't like the guy."
" Because Wally West may be the biggest jerk on the planet but at least he never lied about it."
Linda then walked off... Why should she care what happened to that meatheaded jock anyways.

Jen was walking with Karen. She had hoped that they could have dragged Achilles along but he didn't seem to want to and had quickly rejected the girl's offers.
Jen checked out the sculptures. "I wonder if we could smash them once their done?" She thought then added. "I think maybe that's my frustration speaking, so bored just now."

Meanwhile...in Chris Powell's room...
*There! Chris had download a Google Earth app on to his phone and marked all the lakes in the woods surrounding the school. This would make the search much easier. Chris put his laptop away and noticed a flier for the ice festival. He hoped Cassie didn't want to go because he had much more important things to do. Like fine the lost cabin!
Chris headed outside, set his phone down, and slipped into his armor. He snagged his phone before flying off to begin his search. With luck, he could get most of the lakes checked out before bedtime!*
