Seph shrugged tempted to get up and try using the sword just to prove a point "Hey I can totally handle big swords just fine, maybe for not as long a period of time or as well as with a long sword but could play around with it and at least manage to hit something" she argued glacing back just in time at the film to see one of the main characters being taken down by a trio of zombies. "Anyway would let you borrow my longsword for a while too"
Hebal sighed stopping in front of the ninja and threw her arms around her for a hug "Aww I'm sorry, should have said you were low on energy earlier and I wouldn't have asked and stuff. It's just a really useful thing to have a friend who is so good at getting you from A to B in less than 5 seconds even if the travel bit doesn't feel to nice" she apologised letting go.

Felina smiled and nodded "Yep highest populations of elves are in the cities but thats only if you look at the elves who like to stay in one place, many still wander around areas in tribes all the time like we did tens of thousands of years ago. Though they do accept the royal family so with the exception of the desert elves we get no disputes or disagreements over whos in charge. And just like Cid even little elves hate being separated from their parents more than 5 minutes"
Satoshi gasped surporised but hugged Hebal back "I'll be alright with this one but afterwards no more, at least for today that is. As for the ether, it is a nice option but we are going to be going to an infirmary. Chances are they have an endless stack of ethers they could give me" she assured Zadina as she grabbed hold of him and Hebal with one hand "Its really hard to get you all together sometimes" she chuckled picking up Enkidu and placing him in Gil's lower arms before taking hold of him before initiating her ability. "You just get used to teleportation if you use it often enough, look at me I'm fine now but at first it made me horrible ill afterwards" she told them as they whooshed across the city to the arena enterance.

Oassu nodded understanding "Didn't think you still operated as tribes so much. Would seem like it would make things difficult for you to mobilise and organise your people if small groups of em kept on moving about" he said "How did elves get into the desert anyway? It's not exactly....your natural habitat" he asked curious.
Gil smiled "Appreciate the effort you just take it easy for the rest of the day ok" he said using his arms to stroke her hair and back "I'm seeming to get better at the whole teleport thing too" he said stretching while Enkidu hopped down from Satoshi's side.
Itaka frowned "I doubt I'd like to use your longsword, katana's are a bit flimsy to me..." he said kissing Seph "Though you're certainly very skilled with your sword no doubt about that" he said nuzzling Seph.
Zadina nodded "Yes you be sure and rest a little bit later Miss Satoshi it would be a shame if you dozed like Miss Mari but thank you for getting us here so quickly" he said bowing politely "Though where is the arena's infirmary?" he asked looking around "It's really quiet here now...I imagine most people are just staying in the arena until the final" he noted.

Seph rolled her eyes "Oh please, the only reason you think they are flimsy is because you like to be smashy and a little too forceful with smaller blades. And thus I have decided that I shall make you try using one properly just to demonstrate how good a longsword can be. Though for now lets just enjoy the film" she concluded sinking further into the covers.
Hebal sighed holding onto Satoshi a little bit longer until she felt she wouldn't fall over "I think I'm getting over the teleportation sickness thing a little but I still get dizzy when its done over longer distences. A little like you've been whooshed right off your feet and spun halfway round an area" she stated giving her friends a thumbs up. "Now are you still ok Satoshi? You've been to the infirmary too right, so which way is it from here? Don't teleport us there since it would suck majorly if you slept in Gil's final"

Felina shook her head and patted Oassu on the shoulder "you worry too much and technically every elf if part of a tribe. Its just a lot of them decided to split up and take up residence in the elven towns and cities. Even I have a tribe name. As for how they got to the desert, once upon a time the natives there came over, tried invading other countries and captured elves thinking they would make great slaves then took em all back to the desert with them" she explained not remembering the exact details due to many hours of sleeping through history class.
Satoshi reluctantly nodded but hesitated until she was sure Hebal wasn't going to do anything silly "Yeah it sometimes causes dizzyness but if your ok I'll take you there. Need to go through the main enterance and then its the second nearest door to the arena battlefield on the right which leads into the recovery room... you'll need to go first Gil so we can go in" she added noting the bored security guards in front of the doors. "And no need to bow or worry Zadina, I'll be fine since I've not been that active. Will ust need to pace myself"

Oassu snickered "I just enjoy learning about bits of your culture, so tell me what is this tribal name of yours?" he asked "And would I need to get one if I married into the family?" he said raising an eyebrow "Would be nice to know what my name would be." he said.
Gil pointed to a group of 10 excited people that moved towards the doorway "Must be through there" he said watching as one of the people talked to the guards before being allowed through "Lets get going then though if you really wanna be nice to Miss Mari you should go buy her some chocolate" Gil said whispering to Zadina while pointing to a chocolate stall set up by a professional chocolatier chain for the tournament.
Zadina nodded "Yes your certainly right Sir Gil as usual!" he said "Come on Miss Hebal help me pick out some lovely chocolates for Miss Mari to enjoy!" he said hopping excitedly in front of Hebal.

Hebal gasped surprised that the thought hadn't come to her before now "oooh I see, how could I fail to notice such a delicious looking stall place" she gasped whooshing forward to the chocolate dragging Zadina alonf behind her "Ok ok here we are, I think we should go for some nice milk chocolate ones with the coolest shapes. What do you think?" She asked almost drooling at the food being shown on display.

Felina yawned as she shook her head a second time "Well since you have no tribe technically you'll be married into ours, the Rukesaro though the names don't have much use, in fact none at all unless you're talking to particularly cautious/antisocial groups of elves. Usually even when married you keep your tribe name and unless a member of the royal family in which case any offspring are always classified under my tribe, the kids just get classified as of the tribe if the same sex parent"
Satoshi snickered watching the others run off to the stall "Didn't you want to go help them pick the chocolate. Or did you just want an excuse for more alone time/to wait for even less people around" she teased Gil patting his helmet while she debated whether or not it was worth putting so much energy into chasing after Hebal.

Oassu frowned "Why do cautious elves use tribal names?" he asked walking back through the market "Seems to be a lot of hassle but so long as I've got you looking out for me with all the rules I'll be fine" he sighed happily "Does Rukesaro mean anything?" he added.
Gil smiled "Well nothing wrong with a little alone time but no I just thought it was a nice gesture for someone who recently fell unconscious out of a tournament plus gives me a chance to talk our way into the infirmary" he said walking over to the guards "Excuse me can we get in to see Miss Mari the competitor who just lost?" he asked the guard.
The guard frowned "Well she's certainly popular today, you'll need to wait there's some people already in with her and the infirmary is pretty full with them in" he said apologetically "If you're concerned about her health you needn't worry the medics say she'll be fine, is there anything else I can do for you?" he asked.
Zadina giggled spying some chocolates in the shape of competitors including a few of Gil "Well we don't know what she likes so I think we should get her a mixture of all" he said looking at some boxes of mixed chocolates "What about one of these little mixes?" he asked holding up a box for Hebal's approval

Hebal hesitated too busy giggling at all the chocolates shaped like different competitors "Nah go for the one next to it, its more shiny plus theres a litte more even amounts of chocolate types/colours. I think we should also get her a chocolate Seph and Gil and herself though" she snickered to each chocolate person "Wish someone would like me enough to make a mini chocolate me"

Felina smiled pulling Oassu into a tight hug "You like to ask questions for sure, never met a human so interested in the way elves work" she remarked kissing him on the cheek. "But yes it essentially means the supreme ones in fancy wording, the exact wording has no translation but thats roughly right I think. And although it is wrong people do sometimes still judge people based on which buch they come from for example if Dysocu and Hayate got into a dispute, the more old fashioned elves unless with some sort of proof would take Dysocu's side everytime because his tribe. The Estyn has a significantly better reputation than Hayate's biological family the Orothi"
Satoshi scratched her head not sure whether it was a good or bad thing that Mari had so many visitors "As nice as it is that Mari has herself a group of fans, I hope they aren't going to be pestering her. But if you could let us know when its ok to go in that would be great" she added to the guards with a smile before crouching down to give Enkidu some attention "Its a little surprising to see a lack of fans looking for you around here, guess the teleportation would have threw them all off" she laughed.

Oassu shrugged "Well I'm going to have to live with the culture for a while may as well understand it a little you know?" he said returning the hug and kiss "And shame Hayate would get put down all the time though even outside of names he's of lesser rank than Dysocu anyway" he said.
Gil smiled "That plus they are probably all trying to find a place to watch the upcoming match, but no matter would you really want me to be surrounded by fans out here anyway?" he asked sitting down on a bench.
Zadina nodded counting out his Gil "It's rather pricy for chocolate but ok Miss Hebal we can afford it" he said watching as the pretty human shopkeeper lady talk to her "Actually Miss we can do full body chocolate sculptures if you like" she said offering her a small menu politely.

Hebal smiled at the shopkeeper while counting out at least half the gil to pay with Zadina "No thank you, these ones will be fine I think" she told her a little conscious of the price since her wallet wasn't exactly full of wealth "Its always going to be pricy in ties like this because there will be loads of tourists in Kunec and competitors get hungry too. Besides this clearly looks like its the better chocolate" she whispered to the elf.

Felina herself shrugged "Well in fairness everyone is a lower rank than Dysocu in the army considering he pretty much runs it. Though captain isn't a bad rank especially when so many people don't take him seriously since the whole half blind archer thing has to be a big issue to many people. But that was just an example of how it works though tribes are treat as a group, not as individuals so if Dysocu came from one with a reputation for having murderers and assassins in he would get a load of prejudice regardless of how great his achievements" she sighed.
Satoshi paused sitting down beside Gil and placed her arm around his neck "Well it depends. On the one hand its nice to see that so many people think you are awesome and even look up to you, on the other hand I'm not a big fan of sharing you so theres pros and cons to each" she snickered.

Oassu nodded "I guess that's true but Dysocu seems trustworthy enough to me still your tribal name probably has the most prestige" he chuckled "Maybe would even mean I could get some respect" he said pondering it.
Gil nodded "Well I suppose you could say that, it does feel quite nice to be appreciated for what I do but most people won't care outside of combat things like this" he said yawning "Would be difficult doing jobs if I had silly groupies following me everywhere" he said.
Zadina nodded adding some of his gil to Hebal's pile "Here you go Miss thank you very much!" he said taking the little menu of services and stashing it in his pocket "Yes I suppose for festivals things are relatively expensive here though the markets didn't seem too bad" he said
