The young girl stood there taking in everything. While she didn't want to leave the Queen's side, she did not was to disobey. Anything asked of her, she would do unless it meant harm to the Queen or her husband.

Sekain walked out of the castle into the town towards the expectant worried crowds, and took his place, his appearance renewed as he made his way to the vantage point. His charm and charisma causing more attraction from the townsfolk. "People of Llyr! I understand your worry but please remain calm, The King and Queen are aware of an enemy outside of the city gates." the crowd began to mumble and murmur as some kept almost hypnotised on him "Friends, we are acting on it as we speak, the noble houses surrounding Llyr are on their way to our aid, I know that Flowing Rivers has taken up position, everything is under control, remain calm and we shall keep you updated." he said awaiting for any questions they could have. He kept out the threats to their lives and lifestyles beucase he thought it best not to frighten htem more so than they were already.

"Hmph, why I never!" Hina shouted as she took offense to the insult. "Some kind of gentleman you are!" She stood there with her eyes closed and twirled her umbrella angrily. Walking up behind Katherine, she sighed heavily. "Excuse me Your Highness, is there something you might need from our house?" She asked in a more business tone.
Of course, this was Isaac's cue and he walked up to her side and waited for the attention on them. He kept his bag at the ready.

Katherine looked over to her she was next on her list anyway. "Forgive my brother, we are all under a lot of stress right now. We have to contain this porblem so it doesn't spill over into the other great houses." She spoke to her with a smile. "I dont require anything at the moment, but i stress that it is not wise to be traveling at this time."

Moira stood to the side and several steps back from Sekain as he spoke. Everything he said was to keep them calm and, from his voice and manner, he convinced them everything was alright. Whether that was true or not, she refused to think about. She felt very out of place, but she hid it behind a blank face.

Through the east gates, a depleted unit of cavalry appeared, traveleing for the capital. They put the horses in the stable and delivered there report.
The general took the report and read it over. It wasn't quite a loss, but it wasn't good in any way. He returned to The Main hall, looking for Katherine, and found her quickly. "They encountered some difficulty. Only 41 returned." Paradox said.

"Okay then." Hina said as she turned around, looking to the two handmaidens. Then came another idea from her and she turned around to Katherine once more. "Your Highness... may I call you Katherine? I would like to speak with you privately. Away from the listening ears of the soldiers and peasantry."
"Shall I join you as well?" Isaac asked, looking to both women.
"No, that won't be necessary. What would you say?" She asked, still looking to Katherine. Her eyes showed a glint of mischievous.

She smiled back at him. Things were bad, but she had the utmost confidence in anyone Katherine did. And if Katherine trusted Sekain, so did she.

41?..41? How by the gods. Katherine's attention was snagged. "41! and who did they encounter?" Katherine was slightly shocked less than half. Llyr had one of the best caliveries in the known world how is it that only 41 surived. "What did they encounter they were mounted the scouts told us it was all workers!" She wasn't outragged she was shocked.

Sekain nodded at the mumblings and mutterings amongst the crowd and stepped back up beside Moira "Come we are done here" he smiled as he walked beside her towards the castle "So you are new around here" he smiled "I'm Sekain" he smiled nodding in greeting to her.
