Lin blinked taking the flower carefully, she had never thought it was a solid thing, but it was just like before. Only it did not glow, or did it. She wondered if it was the other flower.
"Thank you," she smiled, "It's very pretty."
Maybe he would make things like his Daddy one day, or maybe he would do something completely different, but Lin thought he made pretty things.

Triton smiled at that, it was so cute he thought to himself, remembering when Earendil was much younger. He just hoped now that Lin wouldn't go sneaking off, it wasn't like she had any friends who weren't related back home.

"And this one should keep its glow," Earendil smiled softly. "The other one lasted an hour only ... this one should last forever, as long as the magic doesn't fade."
Which ... it might, he didn't know, but he didn't think it would, not for a long time.
"And who knows?" he laughed. "Perhaps by the next time you come, I'll have figured out a way to make one to guide you through the labyrinth!"
As it was, he was still leading them.
They were nearly there.

"Yay," Lin smiled holding it close, it would be like a night light or something like that she thought, it was the best thing ever.
She certainly hoped it would last forever.
Yue looked up ahead, he could feel the door before seeing. It looked like the journey would be at a end at least for himself. He doubted he would be back here any time soon. Nor Mia now that he thought about it.
"We're there," he murmured.

Earendil smiled, but it was faint and forced. He was going to miss Lin when she was gone.
Then again, he was certain that his siblings would be returning sometime soon as well. Not to mention there was training and lessons ... well, he would still miss her.
"Don't forget to come see me again," he told Lin firmly. "No forgetting me, either."
Yeah ... he was going to be lonely.

"I won't!" Lin replied back, "Never ever," she hugged Donovan close, "I'll be back! You'll see."
She looked up at him with hopeful eyes as the others began to enter the portal one by one.
Yue activated the portal first, "Thank you for leading us," he murmured as he entered back into the inn wondering how much time had passed.
Mia nodded following shortly after.

"Hope to see you again," Triton told Earendil, "Say hello to your siblings for me," he smiled as he left.
At least now they could breath easy.

Donovan nodded, it looks like he was going to have to let her. At least not that much time passed between worlds, "See you," he told young elven, "Thanks for looking after Lin."
And with that he left.

Earendil waved one final time as they all disappeared, then sighed and turned to go back to the castle proper.
Yes ... things were definitely going to seem boring now.
