You press the button labeled "Not the Cleaning Button" The rest goes by too fast to see what happened. And yes, the room fills with water and floods you to the basement.

I want to look around. I did see a room labeled "Armory". He went down the dark hall, dimly lit and wet from the minor floods it had just experienced.
