Ahh.. Lily, sorry to hear about your back. I hope one day it stops hurting you!!! It took me forever to figure out what ROTC means but I have it figured out now. My mom's best friends son went into that program.
I have a question: Who all is upset about the date change for the release of Harry Potter 6?? I personally am very upset because I had like my whole Winter planned around that.
(Also, on a non-HP related note: For anyone that is a Twilight fan, did you know that Stephenie Meyer is no longer publishing Midnight Sun? She was soooo upset from the release of a whole bunch of its chapters that she can't bare to write anymore.)

gonk Oh no. Ohh I don't want to be the one to tell Steffyss that! That si just great. People are so nosy. That is why no one sees anything of mine until it's original copy has been sent through the mail, back to my house, for a cheap copyright, and I have finished the work.

I was really upset when I heard about that, I don't know if I can bare to break it to my friend if she doesn't know already. She is as obsessed with Twilight as I am with Harry Potter. You can read her post on her website: http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/midnightsun.htmlWhat kind of things do you write? I am attempting to write a small book for fun but I have been in a writers block for about 5 months now but I am going to try and write some more today because I have had a small amount of inspiration.

Don't worry Gerp, I feel great most of the time. It was just my day on thursday that trashed it from falling and hitting it. Anyways I am curious to know how far you allowed to run at 5:30 in the morning without it being deemed suicide. And then how far you allowed to run at 5:30 in the morning for fun before it becomes suicide. This morning I met my ROTC class at 5:30 and then ran 5.11 miles followed by a 20 minute workout of pushups and other things like that. After that Sargeant Glad told us that all day we had to 30 pushups and 30 situps everytime we put something in our mouth that wasn't gatorade or water. I personally think it's punishment for my saying yes sir instead of yes sargeant when he gave me an order at 5:30.
Yeah when I heard the date had been moved to July I wanted to cry, and that time I wasn't in any pain. (At least I don't think so) I don't read twilight. I haven't dared get into another series because if I fall for it like I did Harry Potter I won't ever get any homework done.

I am attempting to write a small book for fun but I have been in a writers block for about 5 months now but I am going to try and write some more today because I have had a small amount of inspiration. I have four books that I am starting over again, and a load left over from failed attempts. Each book has to do with one nation, Earth Nation, Water Realm, Lands of Fire, or Wind Territory, and how these nation's leaders deal with the fact that the Holy Mt., in the center of their nations, has been looted of their deities. These deities each had a mask that was housed in a grand temple atop this mountain and when leaders wanted to speak or request aid to these beings they would inhabit the mask and speak. One day the masks were simply gone. No trace just, gone. Without them, the people cannot defend themselves, from their neighbors. The Land of En & Nod to the northwest, the Ice Realm in the north, The Mortal Lands to the south and The Fae Realm in the southwest, all are looking to invade. All are larger and some are home to great beasts and demons, others are much more technologically advanced, while some still relied on a different source of magic. Each nation must find it's own mask, and thief who stole it, with the single tool they are given, by the Sun deity. If one nation fails, the masks will cease to work, and all are doomed to fight a losing war. It is hard making books that all connect and interlock while going on at the exact same time. I just finished the hierarchies and class systems for the nations, and right now I am working on the map of the world, the creature and the character designs. I scrap stuff a lot and reuse characters I really like. My friends in real life are are still waiting to see something finished. I feel bad about that but unless I half way like it no one is reading it. Who knows maybe this one will work out. 3nodding PS. Yes I have already mailed this idea back to my self so it is copyrighted if cheaply.

I haven't dared get into another series because if I fall for it like I did Harry Potter I won't ever get any homework done. I am in a lot of back pain aswell but I have something wrong with me lol. I pretty much have pain everywhere in my body and I've been to Sick Kids but that really didn't help much. Lately I've been getting severe pain in my legs and sometimes I can't even move them they hurt so much, along with my back which has started up again with a lot of constant pain. I also, have a sleeping disorder which has been extremely bad lately and pretty much every other night I can't get to sleep until 4-5am. And I've noticed whenever that happens, I end up either feeling very sick (along with being tired) or actually throwing up. I don't think I had told any of you guys about that stuff since I don't really like telling people because it always feels like I'm complaining or looking for sympathy when there are people who are worse than I am. But, now that you know, it may be the reason why I'm such a b***h all the time hahaha. razz But I hope your back gets better. Obviously, I know how bad back pain can be and it really does affect everything you do. --- I haven't read Twilight and don't think I will. My favourite will always be Harry Potter and a close second LOTR and I don't really feel like reading another series. Plus, I'm sort of sick of reading right now O.O

Oh Gray Gardens I'm sorry, and that's all I can really say to that matter. Do you have a heating pad? If not sew some cloth together and fill it with beans. Make sure it's all the way closed and then just put it in the microwave. You can use it over and over again. That's what I was doing this weekend for the pain in my thighs from all the running since I'm not used to it. Yesterday the running felt good, but today we did a lighter run and i'm stiff. Don't really know why that is, but my guess is we started running in formation and I was stupid and tried to keep up instead of just running at my own pace. Anyways, I think Sargeant Glad was just in a bad mood and wasn't taking any lip from any of the cadets because he was really hard on us yesterday. Because a boy wore a hat to the run and then said 7 we had to pass the hat around our circle of 15 7 times in a sitting position while not letting our feet touch the ground. Then because that same cadet was goofing off during pushups we had to do more. Today he wasn't as pissy. I actually didn't see him until half way through the run when he told me to keep going, and then the end of the run when I was sprinting and he was right behind me yelling at me to finish strong.
I write just for fun. I'm actually trying to write a novel and I've restarted it several times. I have it down to where I actually like it now though so I'm moving forward. How do you mail it out to get it copyrighted? I have no clue on how to do that and I have so many ideas in my head that it's not funny. My grandmother is probably my biggest fan though. I was writing a poem randomly one day out of shear bordem and showed her. She liked it so much she made copies and gave one to each of her kids as well as her ex husbands nephew. I'm actually putting together a collection of my work for her because that's what she asked for for Christmas. Kind of sad that your grandmother is your biggest fan, but then again I don't share my work very much.

I hope that everyone gets better soon. I makes me sad so our Huffle's in so much pain. I really do hope everyone gets better.
So, in school, for my government class, we have to write our own Declaration of Independence either from our parents and from our school. I was thinking, that because I was a senior, that the rest of my class and I should all write one declaration on our own and post it to our schools front doors on our last day of school, kind of like what Martin Luther did with his 99 Thesises (sp?). What do you guys think, do you think it would kind of stupid or dumb or what??

Thanks bamfgirl! Sorry, it has been several years since my confirmation and since I have studied about Martin Luther. Maybe I can get at least 50 some of the students in my class to sing it, just like 50 some (54 I think) that signed the actual Declaration.

Hahaha I'm supposed to be doing a government class online but I'm struggling with it so bad it's not funny.
Oh my gosh. I just went on a date with the cutest guy ever. It's been a very long day, but I've enjoyed every moment of it. I pulled myself out of bed at 5 like normal to go run and do pushups and whatnot. I carried a duffle because it's lab day so we had to wear our uniforms. It's like the uniforms you see on Cadet Kelly when they are in the field. So I got out of history early and the guy that I really like flagged me down. He's in my ROTC class and after the other cadets left he asked me if I wanted to go to dinner with him after lab. I told him I would love to, and then he had to go. I was so happy the rest of the time and when I showed up for lab I was still happy. We then spent two hours learning drill and ceremony so we pretty much stood at attention or at ease for two hours, or we marched. Standing was a pain just because it hurt our feet and we were in new combat boots so yeah. After we got done both of us had to have a physical and of course we were the last ones to have the phyiscal so we didn't get out of there until 6:30. Then we walked a couple miles to this grocery store and ate there. On the way he noticed my duffle was making me limp so he took it from me and carried it. After we got done eating we walked a couple miles back to my apartment and he carried my duffle again. I it was so much fun. So simple, but then we got to just talk and that's always the best. I'm really tired though since it's almost 11 and I've been up since 5. Plus I've only gotten 4 hours of sleep for the past two nights and I've been working out constantly the past 3 days for ROTC.

Wow gone for two days and everyone has news! xd
Grey: We do miss you Grey, hope you feel better soon. I would get you kidneys looked at, if it is around the center of your lower back. It sounds like my friend. Your kidneys might be having trouble. Did you get sick after your trip? You have every right to be bitchy, I'd be too if I were you. As for being sick of reading, I feel you. I just reread half my text books in prep for my internship. If I have to read one more sentence about JPEG, GIFF, Photoshop, Offset Printing or how large is the best DPI for a computer screen I think I am going to have a fit. I hope you feel better Grey. I miss your wit and brains.
Lily: I'm glad the pain is lessening, for you. The bean thing was brilliant. I forgot all about that trick, just don't eat the beans. 3nodding xd And I think every military person yells at you to finish strong. They want you to be able to push through the pain and exhaustion to finish your task. It's the mind factor they're looking for. Mind over matter. And you are very lucky to still have your grandmother. I lost my only one when I was five. I loved her very much. She taught me to sew buttons, play the piano, pick berries, and wash dishes by hand. I also remember church, lots of church. xd She was my biggest fan, and I could barely play London Bridge. Though sometimes I think she worried about me. mrgreen I was a strange child. In short grandmas are awesome.
As for copy righting stuff; you find your originals of your work and you make them look nice and organized. Make copies, you will no longer be able to use the originals after this. Now you get a box, or a big envelope and you put your work in it. Now here is the fun part. You write your address on the return and sending areas. This is important because it needs to get sent back to your house. Use stamps to, because you need that mark over them. When it comes back, DON'T OPEN IT!!!! When you get it back it will have all the GOVERNMENT markings, making it official, that you sent it through the postal system, at that date. If anyone claims that they came up with the idea before you, you get that unopened box or envelope, you put it in front of the judge and say open it. Because it has those date marks, federal date marks, and hasn't been opened the judge will rule in your favor. I suggest clear shipping tape as well, not masking or duct tape. They trust it more. Also Congrats. I am doing a happy dance for you. Woot for crushes; And Marching in new anything stinks! Wear your boots for a few days, say it's your Rock look. ^_^ Marching band and the Military have A LOT in common. Also if they haven't told you, when standing at attention for long periods, don't lock your knees, you black out. I learned that the hard way, band camp freshmen year. xp Also to ease some presser(sp?) on your feet and get your blood moving, practice rolling your weight from your heel, over the arch, to the balls of your feet and back, then resume your normal weight distribution. If your knees are bent properly and it's done right, you won't move and you get a little relief. It's small but it helps. I'm happy your doing well. As for your history/government problem, I might be able to help.
Grep: Fun idea, and it doesn't hurt anyone. I say go for it. And I really like Martin Luther, even though my church is against him. He made good points and was forward thinking. I think he argued his complaints well, and even thought his ideas did lead to blood shed, he personally, was peaceful about it, so far as I'm aware. I really like when the Pope wrote him that he was excommunicated, and he wrote back that he excommunicated the Pope. xd Really I don't mind the Pontiffs, in this day and age too much, I disagree here and there, but not to bad so far in my life, but Popes back then wow.
Nothing new so far as news in the Haven. I hope everyone's break was good, and has a good school year. I only pray that mine goes smoothly.

Katie, that is an AWESOME way for copy writing!! I would have never thought about it! I agree with you that marching band is like marching in the military. I have never had to march in the military but I have done a lot of marching band. In my band, we actually have to yell "LEFT, LEFT, LEFT RIGHT LEFT" when we are not playing. Now, we aren't as strict on the keeping on step, but he does hound down on us when we are sucking horribly.
I like Martin Luther as well and I believe with a lot of what he has to say!I don't really remember that much from it because I haven't been studying those kind of things like I should be.

Try going five yards in eight steps, while keeping on step, and playing that little run they play at the circus, (You know the one everyone thinks of when they think circus.) on a clairnet. Oh yes and no music to read from you needed all four to six songs in a show memorized along with drill. gonk I damn near died several time. I had to go from back right field to front left field by three bars after that ditty and not run into the flag guard who weaved through us with giant, inflated, spotted balls. I wanted to beat my director with his baton. mrgreen

Our school is /cool/ enough for that kind of marching so we just march in really super long parades. Tommorrow we are going in a 2 miles parade. I guess its not that long, but yea... we only march in parades.
