Ike shook his head, placing a hand on his brow with a heaving sigh. "I wouldn't do that if I were you...the last time someone did that the Portal directors in the back closed the portal and wound up chopping his hand off..." He brushed the issue off to the side with a shrug as he headed for the Double metal doors that led out into the hall. After several pushes to heave them open, he leaned up against the frame to keep them from closing. "Hurry up, can't keep these things open for too long."

ooc: `Tis why Ryanna said you were now a Private as well o.o You just weren't in the room so thats why she said if. xD She says she apologizes, she hasn't been here in awhile and is still re-reading things to catch up.

"Huh. This the place?"

"Yeah. Mate, it took long enough to get here. I'm not going somewhere else now."

"Fine fine. Just... not what I expected that's all."

He got out of the black cab, glancing at the morose and decrepit building in front of the car. "How much is it?", he said, bending down to the driver's window, and getting out his wallet.

"Six quid fifty-two."

"Huh.", said the man, looking into his wallet. Fishing out a ten-pound note, he passed it to the driver. "Keep the change."

The driver, hardly believing his luck, set off without so much as a thankyou.

"Rude ***t."

Turning to face the building, he sighed. It must have been grand at one time. The windows, stonework, everything, was covered in soot from a bygone era, and ravaged by the elements. The locals didn't seem to have been too careful with it either, what with all the graffiti and vadalism. The great oak door seemed to have been the only thing untouched, strangely enough.

Stepping up to the threshold, he pushed on the old wood. No result. he frowned, and looked for a bell or knocker of somekind, but didn't find anything. Sighing, he felt around in his overcoat, and found the acceptance letter.

"Hrm. Blah blah blah...", he muttered. "1942 Primrose Road...yep, I'm here", he said, checking the carved address in the grand stone lintel. "Aha! 'Keyphase is Stalker is a klutz'. Well, that seems pretty self-explanatory."

Glancing around to make sure no-one saw him talking to a door, he put his hand once more on the oak, and said aloud, "Stalker is a klutz."

Nothing happened. "******** he was about to turn around and ring up the taxi (If he was unlucky, he'd get the same ungrateful cretin he had earlier), he heard a sudden grinding noise. Looking back, he found himself looking into an equally run-down looking interior. "Guess the roof didn't help much.", he chuckled, looking at the slate tiles strewn about the floor.

He stepped inside. "Hellooo?!"

"Oh. Was that someone shouting back?"

Walking forward, he peered into the side rooms leading off the great hall, but to no result. He walked toward the central staircase, craning his neck to get a good look, but like the side rooms, there was still nothing, apart from a pidgeon, which glared at him balefully. "Hi to you. Nice house you have here, ever considered hiring someone to look after the place?"

Grinning, he looked back down, and walked through the rotted, crumbling hole in the steps, stepping over the fallen timbers and musty carpet. He walked into what must have been a lounge. No-one. He was sure the shout came from here though.

This is where, if Forte lacked any dignity at all, she would have been yelling 'Sa-weeeeeeeet!'

Instead, she smiled broadly and saluted. "Thank you, Commander. I shall see to it that those next six go smoothly." With that, she did an about face and exited. To the situation room!!!!

... After she got about five bottles of water.

Oh, the excitement. "Captain SunTzu," she called, upon entering. She saluted once more. "Any assistance required in setting up?"

"...Looks like that Yeti guy has it covered....and No The Commander's office is a little ways down the main hall and to the left." He nodded, notioing at the direction as he let the metal door slam shut with a resuonding clang noise.
