After Akira parries his weapons towards the ground, Rikatsu just goes with the motion, rolling his arms down and adding force to the rotation of his arms. Turning his body to avoid Akira's return blow, his arms are moving even faster when they come up, his left towards Akira's sword hand, his right towards that same elbow.

Kaosu waited, against his better judgement, in the middle of the dark hallway. Finally noise stopped coming closer, and only the breathing remained. Did it not know what to do now?
Kaosu smiled. Maybe he had confused it, somehow. That's when another howl slunk down the hall to his right, followed by the slow pacing of feet.
Kaosu was trapped, and he knew it. Now, as they just waited, Kaosu began formulating a plan. There wasn't much he could do, he finally realized. One way out.

Kaosu swallowed every rational thought he had. Most of them relied on climbing, and waiting it out. He didn't have that kind of time, and the animals would probably just wait.
He cracked his knuckles, and then his neck. Smiling, he faced the beast on the left and began walking. It only stayed at that slow pace for a while before he did a little hop and turned it into a full-out sprint.
The closer he got the worse he could smell it, hear it, and the worse his fear grew. When he was sure it was right in front of him, the thing snapped it's jaw in aggrivation. In response, Kaosu merely jumped forward, praying that if he died he'd not have to do this again.

Dodge: 16 + 11 = [27] MISS Dodge: 16 + 12 = [28] MISS
Quickly Shin dropped his sword to get more freedom of his arm. Than he moved the hand that Shunketsu was aiming for in to his body avoiding the attack. After that he roll up on his side, avoiding the secound attack. Laying there on the dirt with his opponent almost covering every side. He took his chance seeing his sword almost hitting the ground, he jumped up from the area that Shunketsu was consuming by making a normal front roll.
Attack: 4 + 15 = [19]
Than after the roll he instantly jumped to the side, grabbed the hilt before it landed to the dirt ground got up on his feat. Launched his attack by holding the sword over his head and striking down. Aiming for Shunketsu's back.

Kaosu's fists met nothing. His body flew through the air and landed into the dust of the ground. The landing forced air out of his lungs, and he sat there a second, bewildered.
He was out in the open again, it was light, and he was alive. What...is this what happens when I'm dead again? That thought was crushed when a familiar voice rang out over the burning plains.
"Congratulations, Kaosu." An orange paw stepped into his vision as he sat up. "You're doing very good. Keep it up." "Keep it up?!" Kaosu whined, scratching his cheek. "How long are you going to freaking keep me here?"
"As long as it takes."

"That isn't too promising." Kaosu noted, getting onto his knees as to come a little closer to the tiger. "You pull me out of nowhere, and make me do all this. What are you trying to pull?"
A heavy smack sent him sprawling. "Don't talk to me like that." The animal flexed the muscles in his paw, setting it back down. "I am doing this to help you. This is no way to speak to me."
Kaosu rubbed where he got smacked, sitting back up. "Benevolence." Kaosu looked at the animal with a raised eyebrow. "What?"

It may not sound necessary for a warrior, I suppose. The tiger said, leaning down to sprawl on the ground; his paws placed under his head. But it does help. People look up to you, Kaosu. Most because of your strength of body, or strength of spirit.
Kaosu blushed. What Karite said came to mind. "Yeah, I suppose so. But, what does love have to do with any of what you're teaching me?" Kaosu frowned, now looking down at the tiger. It didn't look so dangerous when it was lounging like that.
"Benevolence isn't just love." It growled, the animal eyes looking up at the shinigami student with an absent appearance. "It is also an unbiased kindness and a will to do good. To find expression in sympathy and kindly gentleness and compassion.
"Doesn't sound that important." Kaosu mused, resting his head on his knees.
"You'd better think it important, Kaosu. You must use benevolence now. The tiger's eyes looked behind Kaosu, which made Kaosu turn as well. There stood five people on marble stands. They were stiff, as if living statues.

"Wha..." Kaosu began, turning around once more, but the tiger was gone. Horrible habit. Kaosu thought, standing up. "Well, so I guess I got to do something with you guys."
He was referring to the people standing there. The first was an elegantly robed man, his face unmarred by anything and his clothes pure white. The second, a vagabond with tatters for clothes and alchohol in a paper bag. The third was an old lady, supported only by her bony knees and her metallic walker.
Kaosu walked forward to the fourth, and it was seemingly an ordinary businessman from earth. And the fifth was a hollow, snide expression etched into it's white mask and yellow eyes gleaming. It was strangely humanoid, but there was no denying the hole in it's chest.
"Find them, Kaosu. Find the ones who are truly good."

Kaosu sighed. He was tired of the mental games. "Fine." He barked, stepping up to the hollow. "Start with the easiest." He looked down at the numbers etched into the marble and decided to say, "5 is not...benevolent."
Immediately the statue became animated, jumping in place and screaming. "SHINIGAMI!" Then slowly it disappeared, eventually becoming nothing.
Kaosu blinked, his body covered in goosebumps. That last reaction had made his whole body alert, adrenaline flowing freely through his veins. One down...

Shaking his head, he walked up to the first one; the regal looking one. He was about to take a closer look when every single statues' mouth began moving. They were talking simultaneously, and it was hard to hear anything.
He stepped closer to the first one, trying to hear what he was saying. He managed to get 'saved...and then...helped...'. Kaosu nodded. It sounded 'benevolent enough'.
"1 is benevolent." Kaosu said, and watched as the statue jumped into motion. He looked up, and frowned. Disappearing, Kaosu figured he was right. That was, until a sword burst through his stomach. Kaosu wanted to scream, but his mouth only gurgled as he dropped to his knees, the weapon pulled from him.
Then, Kaosu heard what the man was saying. "This piteous man to my left saved my life. I thanked him and then sent him to his death, even helped with the execution.

"Be careful, Kaosu." The tiger said, appearing beside the wounded shinigami. "There are dangers. He helped Kaosu to stand once more as number one disappeared.
The tiger then, for once, stayed there as Kaosu walked up to number two. He had never once not finished something, and wasn't about to start now.
The statue people began talking again, and amidst the blood pounding in his temples he tried listening to the number two. The poor guy didn't look quite benevolent, just down on his luck.
"...forgiven...soup kitchen...volunteer..." Is what Kaosu got out of it before they fell silent. It didn't sound too bad, but neither did the last guy's. Kaosu stood up onto the platform, staring into the man's eyes. They glittered, not with pride, but with something else Kaosu couldn't place.
"Number two..." He hesitated, wondering how bad that bottle would hurt on his head. "...I think..."
"Is."

Kaosu jumped back as the statue came alive. He still wasn't used to it. The man stepped down, and bowed. "I thank ya." He said, before fading away.
Two to go. Kaosu thought, looking at the businessman and the old woman. "Want a hint? The tiger asked, walking next to Kaosu. "One is good, one is bad. That help?
Kaosu snorted. "Not by much, you big cat." He smiled, looking at the two. When they began speaking, he rolled his eyes. "SHADDUP!" He yelled, and they immediately fell silent. That doesn't help at all, the talking.
When Kaosu looked at the old lady, he was reminded of his own grandma. She was so sweet, even when he wasn't in the greatest of moods. He could never see old women being mean or bad.
But, the businessman had a glint in his eyes that reminded him of his dad, who also never had done anything wrong ever. It brought him to a serious deadlock. A stalemate.
