Bah. Not from the lame book.
This Jacob:

I support the Man in Black/Smokey/FLocke

Mainly because he looks like Locke... and he's just so darn awesome. He has Sawyer, Claire, and Sayid with him. And regrettably Kate -.- . I hope Claire kills her soon

Although, I'll admit... Jacob's team is looking pretty good after this episode. Jack sounded an awful lot like Locke (as opposed to his normal whiney, wannabe-leader, tantrum throwing self) when he was talking to Richard...

Van, I've known you for ... a number of years. I should hope you have better judgment than that, and thus didn't figure that was who you were talking about. I was just stating a fact about what I see when I click on the flair book mark.
And it is official... Everyone but me watches Lost.

I like to send anti-Twilight flair to my Twilight loving friends... does that make me evil? twisted
It's never too late to start watching Lost. ABC and Hulu stream seasons 1-5.

Yes, yes it does.
Yeah, and it's on netflix watch now, and I totally paid the extra money for Xbox live so I really have no excuse... The people at work have been bugging me for about a year to start watching it...

I was so surprised that my boss didn't watch it. He loves Fringe... so I was like, you have got to watch JJ's other show. It's awesome. As it turns out, he had it on DVD. I made him start watching it... he caught up with the series in two weeks. He went though 4-5 episodes a day. xd
Now I have someone to talk to about it since all my friends who watch it are at college. Graduating sucks

I disagree, still being in college sucks. I am so ready to be done, but I still have one more year to go.

Blah... okay. I'm not going to lie. I'm guessing on how the whole crew gets paid at this point. I figured it's got to be something based on the take, percentage-wise. I'm also guessing that since the current crew has been together for years, it's rather close in terms of what everyone is getting. It makes sense, too, that there's probably also a percentage that goes towards the community needs. Medical, food, repair, etc.

How socialist.
Wouldn't it make more sense if different jobs got paid more? Mechanics and pilots would need to have had training.

You could argue that mercenaries would need hazard pay though 3nodding
I feel like if you're living that long together on a ship, that you'd have to be pretty equal. Otherwise there would be resentment, which does not bode well when you're alone in space. xd I'm also just thinking for these characters too, this crew in particular... maybe I'm wrong though. I know that Pavan really doesn't do much that would require her to have too much money. She sends a lot of her's back home for helping with upkeep and she's really not thinking too much about the future...
In Soviet Russia... ship crew you ninja

When Parker ran the ship everyone got paid the same. Like Van said, money from the pot goes towards supplies (any kind needed).
No one gets more than their fair share, and at least in the beginning, no one job was looked at higher than another. Yes, mechanics need training, but so do doctors, pilots, mercs, and everyone else who becomes employed. The ship can't run without gears, and one of those gears is no more important than the other.

On a similar note... we should get another group shot. 3nodding
Since the one on the front page is horribly outdated. Though I'm not sure where, I know a lot of artists don't like huge group pics... since they are rather difficult to do.*Is starting to save and bootgrab* It's probably going to be costly too...
I think it might be best to wait until we get to Ariel and pick up all the new characters though. 3nodding Get a feel for the group dynamic

... Yeah... I could look for the info on the original artist. She was really great, not super expensive, but a b***h to find...
But you're right... It's a tad out of date...

It's nice, though... we should keep all the pictures. Make a photo album or a scrapbook... or something
