"If you don't want to tell me, that's fine. I understand that not everyone wants to be as open with their feelings as that Ruby chick who's always runnin aroudn with some sorta problem." He frowned. "But from my experience, bottling it all up and keeping it to yourself isn't that much better. Just look at that guy." He pointed to a rather angry old man behind him.

Just to be contrary, the angry old man noticed him and started beating the walls and floor with his cane, shouting agrily that it's not nice to point and these fool idiots in the AA should get a life and mingle with the dead until they stay dead and leave the rest of the living to rot in the Hellscum of the earth as it was without coming in to bother them... etc. twisted

((indeed it is. Now go back to bed, seriously, what's wrong with you people and the AM? I'm only up right now because of educational obligation...*sigh*))

Eulalia Danae ((indeed it is. Now go back to bed, seriously, what's wrong with you people and the AM? I'm only up right now because of educational obligation...*sigh*)) ((I'm only up now because of work. Thought I started an hour and a half earlier than I actually do. Woot.))

((Bah....if I actually do become a teacher, I'm going to try and push to teach a first period class called naptime. I'm sure people would sign up for it....))

((In reverse order: Me too. Don't make it first period, though, make that period "self study"--and tell them they can study outdoors and check in late as long as they bring something for 2nd period show-and-tell. W00t.2 Something wrong with the am? I have better things to do with my morn than get online, but that doesn't mean I'm not up and awake... no offense. *signaturely ornate bow*<--which I should show you sometime @BD: I don't know about ED, but I always double-check the avy on the top of the page before I post. Gets annoying, though, which is why I don't do it much anymore.))

Ruby stood there in the base feeling lost, and jostled. Too many people were there, and though she usually liked crowds, she liked being in the center of them, not being lost inside them. She felt an elbow jab into her stomach and then jabbed back, only to get the wrong person, and start a big fight between a few strangers.
She moved away quickly making her way to the one place she always considered safe: the garden room. The sight of it made her frown. The refugees were everywhere. Their small camps surrounded her tree. She could hardly move in the room without tripping over another person. She couldn't go back to her own room, there was no room in the current rooms, and there was no room for her even in the garden room. Something tightened in her gut, her fingers clamping into tight fists. Running away, as Lori had said, wasn't the best answer, but it was better than ignoring the problem. Anything was better than that.
Ruby's eyes were dry as she moved around the crowd and left the AA base. She didn't know where she was going, and she didn't really care.

Minerva leveled her eyes at Verve, "It's nothing personal, but I prefer to bear my own weight. I don't do the whole crying on shoudlers thing."

The bus was prominent in her view as she left the base.

Ruby paused in her tracks, and looked at the massive red and black vehicle. The shiny exterior, washed and cleaned with obsessive care, reflected her image like a mirror. She still wore the silvery silk from Sahira's world. It made her eyes look more silver than gray, which made her smile, she always thought her gray eyes looked too drab and washed out. She had once spent a week praying they would turn cornflower blue.
Ruby walked up to the bus, if she wanted a place free of refugees, a place she could step away for a little while, it was here. But she also wanted to run, she wanted to run away and never come back. She was faced with a decision that was tearing at her piece by piece.
It all came down to whether she still loved him or not. She wasn't sure for a moment, and was afraid to think about it, afraid of the answer.
She stood there for five minutes, trying to decide whether to stay with Arch, or leave him.
Ruby turned around and started walking away from the bus.
Ten steps away she stopped, and turned back. Ruby quietly slipped into the bus, her decision made.

Random_Monster_Attack "Okay." He stated simply, his eyes turning a bright shade of green. "So aside from whatever it is you dont wanna talk about, you been up to anything interesting lately?" "Well I assisted with the destruction of Krovh, that count as interesting?" Minerva gave him a dry smile.
