"Really?" he spread his arms "Alpha Alex and his men were giving you a hard time in your home" he turned to Seph "You've been treated with disdain in Alpha's village and by Alex and Itaka" he turned to Hikari "Kimino doesn't like the thought of you having such power he believes demons shouldn't be allowed such power should they destroy the world with it" he chuckled "Would a demon-run world really be so bad?"

Seph knew that he would probably try and tempt her "I don't care what others think. If I can live my life in my own way then I will be happy. Besides being a half breed other demons have never been good to me"
"So it's just alex he isn't exactly much trouble. Besides i was never on your side to begin with" Alpha said smiling,
Hikari laughed "Well now you mention it my experiments probably could cause some trouble. But that doesn't mean i'm gonna allow you to use it"

The smile faded from the King's face "You'd turn your back on your heritage?" he folded his arms in his suit and large black wings sprouted from his back and he sighed "Ahh feels good to stretch the wings again but my patience has it's limits I'll offer you one last deal" he gestured at Alpha who was showered with gold "You are only bound here by Itaka's gold a true mercenary would accept my offer because I guarantee you they'll be more!"
he smiled at Hikari "I see you value power well I have power I will give you a position in my elite forces as a commander should you side with me and you will gain incredible power under me!" he sent her a vision of her future with him "Besides I need your information to help me destroy that cult of light" he smirked at Kimino
He finally turned to Seph "Everyone had you tipped to be the endbringer I don't think I can compete with that but hell y'know I just did come back to life after a thousand years so I reckon I can take you but you would do so much better with me" he waved his hand about and her family appeared before her formed from the souls "I can bring them back Seph I know they were killed a long long time ago come back to me and together we can rule the worlds!"

Alpha laughed "Your forgetting one very important thing. I'm not a mercenary. I like my gold I admit. But i do have my limits"
Hikari hesitated. His vision was so tempting "Power isn't something that can be thrown around. Your all talk." She stuttered
Seph sighed knowing he had touched a nerve "Every thing happens for a reason. Besides I seriously doubt I would be better off if I joined you."

He made a few more gestures and his voice appeared in her mind again "You wouldn't need to be so scared of prejudice we could all rule the world us demons no others except your parents, no more fear, no more Seph the cold hearted mercenary you could have your life back" he smiled sweetly "We demons aren't evil in wanting to exterminate the other races.......we are the new form of evolution the new race so to speak we are merely doing what the humans themselves did so long ago when they drove the elves and werewolves to the forest as one day a new race will arise and defeat us long after we rule." he sighed "We are just having our turn in the limelight, it's our turn you can help me make it happen"

"Can't you read his mind or something?" Alpha whispered to Kimino. Hikari remained silent awaiting some response Why is he so interested in a half blood. Surely if he believes in everything he said then surely our kind would also be rejected. Unless of course hes trying to play tricks She thought
Seph was determined not to let him get to her "Have you never heared of something called co-existence. After all we demons aren't evil in wanting to exterminate the other races" Seph smiled back "Anyway I'm not sure I would like what I become if i wasn't the the cold hearted mercenary"

Kimino glanced at Alpha "He's too powerful there are ways to block the mind reading technique even with this new form he can still block it"
The demon shook his head "Co-existence cannot happen look at Alex his origninal intention was the extermination of demons and elves which is why he had the gem developed in the first place"
Kimino sighed "In fact it looks like he can read minds better than I"
The demon smiled at this "The Demon war 1000 years ago is perfect proof I'm just here to make sure things go to plan this time" he glanced over at Hikari "I'm a generous Demon King, like I said I'm not evil I'm only going to punish the humans our half-demon kin I have no quarrel with but you however seem to be passing up the chance to help me" he shrugged "I promise no harm will come to your elders back in the cult as they are still demons"
Kimino's frown deepened "Lies are his words, deceit is his breath" he muttered remembering an old saying

The Demon King frowned at this "The Humans were planning on doing the same thing Felina" he gestured at her "You already knew this Felina why would you question it? You travelled with Alex who was actually seeking to bring about my end of things" he smiled "Surely there are some among you pure elves who resent the entire outside world for it's racial prejudice and for casting them out?"

The Demon King sighed "What exactly have I done since I got here? I ahven't harmed any of you while you have displayed open hostility against me with no real reason" he folded his arms "Hikari turned her back on an honourable and respectable demon cult of light for the power of darkness and she crawled over the corpses of her colleagues to get here" he laughed "You think thats a good image of a demon? she's betrayed all of you and now she's here and you call me a bad example of a demon?" he frowned and gritted his teeth "I seek to create a Demon nation thats all! I'm the Demon Nationalism hero! The reason we were beaten in that last war is cause of weak links like you renegades!" His pale hair blackened a bit before he calmed himself down "All I want is a place where demons won't be oppressed"

The Demon King sighed "The War involved all the races the elves will also be put to the sword to prevent any future uprising" he smiled sadly "If you want I'll let you leave so you don't have to face me directly I reckon you'll be able to handle some lower level demons so you can escape now the deal applies to you humans as well" the smile fell from his face "You call me selfish Seph? I am hurt especially after the genourous offers I made to you and your friends. I am the pillar all demons will look to" he turned away from them "Surely you noticed the teeming masses of demons that have swarmed to here......even you 3" he added

"it's not exactly as if we were spoilt for choice now was it" Alpha replied. "But it's true, however i wonder how many are just after power and how many would also be willing to look for another leader" Alpha sneered.
Seph caught on to what Alpha was doing "I wouldn't be surprised. you've failed them before not to mention lost to a bunch of weaklings like us" she mocked
