Mik trembled a bit on the spot, then shook his head. He crawled over to the edge of the bed, "Daemon? Are you alright? Do you need me to get master for you?" Mik began to worry about his new friend and wanted to help him.

Daemon whimpered and gasped slightly. "J...just get me a mouse..." he spoke quietly, his voice carrying up to the inu. He was so very hungry that he tried to bite into his own hand when he saw it move. He managed to stop himself, however, and he closed his serpentine eyes, trying to compose himself.

Mik sat up then went over to put some clothes on, "Where do I get one? Are you sure you don't want me to get master, he knows more about this, he could help you." Mik put a foot up and began slipping on a boot.

Daemon hesitated. "You don't think...master would get upset...? He always has to take care of me...I don't want to overwork him..." Daemon sighed and opened those serpentine eyes rather weakly. "I'm so pathetic...relying on everyone else...Why can't I take care of myself...?" This question was more for himself rather than for Mik.

Mik sat down after tying his shoes, "Would you like me to get him? I know you want to see him, and he may be able to help us find you some food." Mik peeked under the bed, "Does that sound good, Daemon?"

"STAY BACK!" Daemon hissed, his long, pale, elegant hand darting out towards Mik on instinct. He hoped with all of his strength that he would not get a hold of Mik in any way...he didn't want to hurt or possibly kill Mik. He squeezed his eyes shut, trying not to see whether or not he had caught Mik.

 The entire time, Ketsuki relayed every scene to Kaeru who saw it all in his mind. He let #0001 in because he knew how much it would mean to the snake as he laid Lucien on a sofa in his main room. Curious, his eight experiments went to the unconscious vampire brought their bodies close as most of them slept next to the creature while others went by themselves. Looking around the room, he gave a small nod that everything was perfect before his bed room door was opened by Ketsuki.

Mik looked up at Kaeru who had just entered, "Master! Daemon needs help! He doesn't look good!" Mik ran up to his putting his arms around the scientist, and hugging him.

Lucien slept deeply, his agony having drained him to the extreme. He didn't even notice the bodies of the other experiments around him. He dreamt of spreading cracks in the earth's crust, slowly killing itself.
Daemon went further under the side table until his back hit the wall. His pale eyes stared out of the darkness, seeing two sets of feet. He whimpered, growing weaker as he began to whimper and cry.

Daemon heard his master's words and then, when he saw the steak and heard his master's command, he immediately went to the opening under the table and moved only partway out to eat the food. He reached for his master's hand to take it and eat the meat resting in it, hoping that his master wouldn't lure him out all the way...which he probably would...

Mik watched as Kaeru held out the steak to lure out Daemon, "Master will he be alright?" Mik had grown attached to Daemon, he never had a friend before and he didn't want him to get hurt and lose him.

Mik sat down on the bed, relieved at Kaeru's words. He lay down as he rested on the bed watching them.
After hearing about Daemon, Murdoch shot up from his seat heading towards Kaeru's room. He didn't care about any person, he went straight towards the door, opening it. "Kid! Is he alright?" He didn't care if Kaeru was there, he would cooperate with the man if it meant helping the snake demon.

Daemon hesitated before obeying his master, coming out and curling up in his master's lap before reaching for his master's hand and bringing it to his mouth. He immediately began to tear into the meat with his fangs. He ate the meat quickly and hungrilly, finishing it and licking at the remaining flavor on his master's hand. Daemon then looked up at Murdoch with those creepy, serpentine eyes. "Mur..doch..?" he asked quietly and then shook a little as he was still filled with hunger. He unwillingly watched as his eyes moved from Murdoch down to the floor, hoping to find some creature, be it mouse or larger, to eat. He was so hungry...
