"Might be best to wait until you hatch," Kasiya told her egg warmly. "I can't wait to meet you!" She continued to hold it close, thinking about how fortunate she'd been so far. This would be the third baby Pokemon she witnessed being hatched, not including all the eggs her friends had hatched only yesterday. She closed her eyes and smiled, wondering what they were all doing right now.

Mike knew Portabello was done for, and watched as the brave Pokemon took the flames, shreiking in pain. He stood there charred, fluttering his eyes before falling straight back. "Return..." He said, steadily losing faith in his chances against the Gym Leader. He glanced over at the ever-so-beautiful girl standing in front of him, his heart racing. She's got me right where she wants me. She knows how I feel, she's got to! Mike frantically searchd for a Pokeball, not remembering who's he had. "Uh...g-go-you!"
Out from the Pokeball came Proton, drilling on robotically as he always did.
"Oh no! I didin't want you!" Mike gasped in horror, he couldn't recall him now.

What's he doing? Flannery thought, her hands on her hips. Magneton is also weak to fire. What kind of trick is Mike pulling here? She studied him for a second, unsure of what to do. "Double Kick!" she said after a second or two of thought, and Rapidash raced across the gym floor, skidding to a halt and pivoting, two diamond-hard hind hooves came slamming towards the Magneton with a crushing force.

Mike froze, not knowing what to do. Fortunatly, Magneton's reflexes were on the spot as he dodged to the side, one of his segments getting smashed back, only to quickly return. He spun around, the screws on his body detattching and rotating around him. He let our a burst of Supersonic in retaliation, aiming for the Rapidash.

Flannery narrowed her eyes at the Magneton's self-retaliation, and her Rapidash tossing its head back and forth as it struggled with confusion. "Shake it off, Rapidash!" she called to the fire horse. "Use Agility!" For a second, Rapidash became clear-headed enough to dash throughout the gym, its speed stat greatly increasing. "Double Kick again!" she ordered. "And this time don't miss!" Rapidash gave a whinny, and charged towards Proton once again, its eyes cloudled over and its mind still muddled.

Proton managed to grappled onto the first hoof, clinging with it's bodies in attempt to avoid the attack, the second one chipping it's iron hide. Still hanging onto the Rapidash's leg, it let loose a massive Thunderbolt, all without Mike's orders.
Mike was too busy completely losing his cool, for the first time in ages, sweat was visable on the once calm battler.

Flannery let out a gasp at the Magneton's reaction, again looking almost as confused as the Rapidash, who cried out in pain from the electricity, its body crackling with leftover static as paralysis set in. "Flamethrower!" Flannery yelled, her hands balled into fists and she stood with one foot in front of the other, her arms raised up. Rapidash gave a cry, and jumped forward, its vision still cloudy and its muscles tensed up and aching. As it made a move to go forward, the muscles in its hind legs all siezed up at once and it crashed to the ground, the landing adding to the damage it had already taken.
"Return," Flannery said at once, raising its Pokeball. "It's your turn, Camerupt!" she yelled, and released a massive, slow-looking Pokemon in front of her, its ears twitching and its feet stamping the ground impatiently. "Eruption!" she called, and the rocky pillars on its back exploded as a seemingly ton of lava and flame gushed forth, engulfing the entire battlefield.

"An Articuno?" Mitsu asked not quite believeing. "Any something on it's leg?"
Mitsu turned around to look at Mike. She had never seen him act that way before. She shot him a look. "Get a grip of yourself Mike!" she shouted. Her tone held annoyance, but she wasn't sure why it was there.

"Extreme damage calculated. Loss of power inevitable." The Magneton droned as the lava struck him. The Pokemon rolled back towards its trainer, Mike recalling it, forcing a smile. At least he can handle himeself. Mike reached for his last Pokemon, his hand shaking terribly.
"G-go Titanium!" He failed at trying to sound confident, sending out his faithful Steelix, who once again towered over his opponent.
Mike was taken aback by Mitsu's comment, he could hear the anger in her voice. "Earthquake!" Mike semi-shouted, attempting to be forecful.
The steel snake craned his head, and smashed it into the ground with terrifying force, sending a shockwave that shook the entire building. Cracks formed and the lava seeped downward and dried, the holes filling up. A second line of cracks went straight for the Camerupt, shooting rocks and gravel up at the Pokemon upon impact.

Camerupt gave a roar, its eyes becoming bloodshot with rage and pain. "Two can play that game!" Flannery yelled, eyeing the massive iron snake before her. "Earthquake!" she yelled, and the ground shook again in a massive shockwave. The window behind her shook and shattered with the shockwave, shards of glass littering the floor behind her. Mighty cracks tore through the ground, but in the heat of battle, Flannery didn't care. A return fire volley of rocks and gravel shot up at the Steelix.

"Ha HA young Pokemon!" Titanium roared triumphantly as the attack struck him. "My hide is about as thick as your skull, try that again!" the attack did damage, but thanks to the Steelix's stellar defense, it failed to be of much worry.
"Don't get cocky Titanium!" Mike scolded as he saw the sheepish grin his Pokemon was carrying. "Do another Earthquake!" His voice was a little stronger now, but wimpy compared to his normal tone.
Titanium followed the same attack pattern, slamming his upper serpentine body on the ground, sending a massive single tremor at the Camerupt.

That's more like it. "I'll um, call you back later bro," Mitsu said, "Bye for now!"
She turned back to face the battle glad to see Mike had somewhat calmed down a bit. "Show her what you're made of Mike!" Mitsu cheered watching Titanium battle the Camerupt. This is going to be such a tough battle. I hardly have any Pokemon to counter Fire types other than Nightmare. And for all I know he won't even listen to me when I send him out! She clenched her fists a bit before letting it relax.

Camerupt staggered, it wanted to go on, but after two Earthquakes, it was finished. Flannery recalled it, and pushed her long bangs out of her eyes. "Go Arcanine!" she yelled, sending out the massive canine. It roared loudly, looking rather intimidating, even though it was much smaller than the Steelix. "Overheat!" Flannery called, ordering it to use her signature move. The Arcanine jumped forward, heat eminating from its entire body. It opened its mouth, exhaling a massive blast of heat and flames that caused even Flannery herself to sigh with its intensity.

"Perhaps I spoke too soon." Titanium said as he was blasted with the immensly powerful attack, fainting almost instantly. Mike recalled his Pokemon and let his head drop. I lost. He could feel his stomach churning as he slowly raised his head. "I-I..." He tried to speak, but couldn't quite get them out.
He lowered his head and sighed, he totally called this.
Just then, a weight was lifted off his shoulders, he felt lighter, literally! He looked up to see what the matter was, and to his surprise saw Felsic standing right in the ring!
"Felsic! What are you doing get out of there!" Mike dashed forward to get him, but was met with Embers aimed at his shoes.
The tiny Pokemon stared down the Arcanine with it's slit like eyes, flames shooting out its back in rage. Smoke poured out of the pores in his back, he meant business.

Felsic!? What is he thinking! Mitsu's eyes widened at the sight of it. As if on cue Karri released herself from her Pokeball, a habit that Mitsu wished she would break.
Karri eyes Felsic and then the massive Arcanine. Needless to say she was rather speechless. She shot Mike a look as if saying "Are you crazy!?"
