Tao's jaw dropped as the egg hatched before his very eyes into a Kecleon. Now that was not expected. He was simultaneously happy to se such a thing happen but at the same token, the was a certain negative feeling welling up inside. He waved hello to the little Kecleon strapped to his leg and screamed internally. He picked up the little normal type and put it on his shoulder. He hoped this wouldn't get him in a whole lot of trouble but well, might as well let the little guy come along.
Mawashi watched as his trainer walked out of the crevice and freaked when he saw the baby Kecleon. ">What in the world happened in there?<" He looked closely at his master noting his eyes looked slightly different. It looked like you could see absolute fear in every synonym of the word in the boy's eyes. That clinched it for Mawashi. His master was nuts.
The party continued on their way down the mountain en masse.

It would seem Tao would be able to catch a break from all the fighting that's happened since they arrived. He was heavily exhausted by the time so far. He wasn't exactly cut out for athletics. His expression looked an unhappy mixture of grim, tired and in pain.
The Kecleon baby eyed the boy and began to try and mimic his expression.
">Hey! You're setting a bad example to the kid! Why did you bring it along anyway?<" The Pansear seriously disliked his trainer's inability to speak pokemon. The fire-type began to pout as he continued to follow the foolish boy.

The party continued further down the volcano. It seemed to get a little cooler the further they descended. Or maybe that was just them having a stroke who knows. No pokemon had appeared for a while which was a good sign to cover more ground. Hopefully, they'd be able to get down the mountain with no encounters. But that was probably just wishful thinking. Or was it?

A loud roar and the boy would turn to see two Litleo tussling about. It would look like they were in the middle of a play fight, rolling around and tackling each other. The two were so distracted, Tao could easily slip on by if he didn't want to interrupt, of course.
Tao sneaked pass the two fighting pokemon. He let out a deep breath once they were passed the two fighting. The baby Kecleon seemed to be watching him intensely and couldn't tell why...

The boy would run into a bit of bad luck. As he crept away from the Litleo he failed to notice the giant pile of sand he had just walked into. Suddenly the sand began sinking and pulling into a pile towards the center. It would look like he was being pulled into a sand whirlpool~
Before I forget to ask, should I wait for your post when I hit [3/10] because of the baby kecleon companion? And does this post count as non-battle?
Oh. Oh Boy. Sinking! The boy obviously panicked and ran out of the sand that was trying to eat him. Or at least tried to. Mawashi had jumped onto his back reflexively when it started being sucked into the sand. Tao made of a face that presumably a mix of horror, fear and the sprinkling of the feeling that everything is trying to kill him. Impressively, the baby kecleon clinging to his shoulder managed to completely mimic the boy's expression and was quite interesting to see on the face of a pokemon.

Yes. After you post the 3/10, I will post what happens next.
Despite carrying two pokemon, the boy was lucky enough to barely make it out. There was a loud noise and he would be able to see the face of a Sandile before it wandered off and disappeared. It would seem they had managed to complete it unharmed and were free to move forward~
Tao sat and caught his breath after making it out of the sand-pit and watched the sandile walk away. The boy truly thought he going to die that time. All the more reason to move forward, he quickly got and started moving even though he hadn't finished catching his breath.
Mawashi jumped off its master's back and followed. That certainly could have been much worse indeed...It spat out some sand it got in its mouth and wipe his lips of any spittle.

As the pair continued along, they would see a boy run up to them. He was dressed up in a safari outfit with a hat over his head and wide-rimmed glasses over his eyes. The boy's green gaze lit up happily upon spotting the Kecleon! "Wow, a Kecleon!" the boy exclaimed, smiling brightly. "I've never seen one in person but it's one of my dream pokemon!" He quickly pulled out a poke-dex and scanned the pokemon before looking at the other boy puzzled. "It seems you haven't caught it... would you let me have him? Please? I would take really good care of him!"
Tao's eyes widened when he saw the other human. The trainer took a while to process what the boy was saying. He twitched and trembled as he usualy did in human interactions. Well, the other boy seemed to be asking for the Kecleon. He opened his mouth to speak with trembly, "W-well, I would've caught him if not for the fact I had no pokeballs handy...Though, I must ask...What w-would I get in return...?" His shoulders slowly became hunched as he spoke every word as he became more nervous and stressed in the proximity of the other person who was presumably a trainer or a....A tourist? In any case, he waited for the response of the other individual.

This was a slow-paced battle... which suited the Numel just fine. She was taking this as seriously as a somewhat sleepy small camel could. With a slow yawn, she lumbered forward at the Wooper. She pushed off with her stumpy legs and leapt at Korbin in a lazy but forceful Tackle.

It was close, but the Durant's jaws would clamp down on rocks and snow, not Despair. He spat the rocks and dirt, hissing in pain. >HATE.
