That is actually in progress right now, in the crew forum, but there have been a few disagreements.

Oh just wanted to clarify if someone in your bankai flare's up there energy it allows them to use powers again?
Only if the flare itself is of such stupid strong magnitude that it manages to completely disperse the entire barrier, like what Zaraki Kenpachi does in the Bount arc against Ishinose's Shikai.

YES! I have found the perfect kido combo for just totally blowing Esmeralda away and/or making it utterly perfect for capturing. Can you say Bakudos 61, 63, 79, and possibly 99 part 1? *evil snickering as he gets Gengyo ready to start chanting under his breath* Sorry, but Mana's about to become a meat shield. xD

You'll need a meat shield because she's out for your blood first and what's worse she's the fastest arrancar against two captains who already proved to be lower on captains Hohō skills

Anyone else find it funny how in canon, how weak every Shinigami below Captain rank was before the Hueco Mundo Arc?
I mean, Ichigo took down three Lieutenants in like 3 seconds without even drawing his sword, one of whom had a Bankai, and one of whom was fast enough to recover Suì-Fēng's body without without the Quincy that beat her being able to react.
And then there's people like this guy, who are all around pathetic, yet somehow third seat.

That's something I never quite liked about Bleach - being a Captain doesn't suddenly give you a power boost, you just happen to be the strongest. Logic dictates that there wouldn't actually be a huge difference between the Captains and Lieutenants.
So I don't give any spoilers just going to say I loved Chad's question lol

That's something I never quite liked about Bleach - being a Captain doesn't suddenly give you a power boost, you just happen to be the strongest. Logic dictates that there wouldn't actually be a huge difference between the Captains and Lieutenants.
Yeah but we learned in the arrancar arc that the captains power levels fall into different tiers like the Espada. And that lieutenants are at fraccion level
Like mayuri is one of the weaker captains and that kyoraku and ukitake are the stronger captains

Pretty much. I still say it'd be nice for the story if we got Esmeralda captured. Hence the being hellishly bent. Besides, it's a lot truer to Gengyo's personality to go for capture as opposed to killing if he can help it, enemy or not.
