Nema cries and she just stood there as she watched her best friend laying on the ground but Cearo kneels beside him and pets his head,"its okay boy..you are strong.." Serota whines and yelps in pain but his whines sounds like he was crying. Cearo looks at his dog but Nema over heard Masaomi then she yells at him with tears down her eyes,"HE IS NOT A MUTT!! TAKE THAT BACK!!" Cearo then took Serota's collar off then he continues to pet him then said,"Mina was it? is there an open room where me and Serota can be?" he sets the collar down on the table and he picks up Serota.

  Rena came in and placed a hand on Cearo's shoulder to stop him. "No one should have to kill there own family. Give him to me." She said holding out her hand to him. She smiled but knew deep down she that she already ate her own words with the death of her father. But no one knew that cept for maybe Masaomi. Jeran sighed but knew he could not help. He could not be turned by a bite and knew he could not transfer the cure in his blood to others which really made him angry and mad at himself. He kept a calm face around Len. He moved his hand over Lens head making sure he could not see Serota.

Cearo turns at looks at Rena,"No..he is my responiblity..can you take care of Nema for me?" then he walks down the hallway with his dog in his arms then as he makes it to an empty room, he shuts and locks the door. He sets Serota down on the ground a few feet away form him then he sits in front of the door and watches Serota then he said,"I remember when mom and dad brought you home..you were always the greatest friend..you are my best.." Serota whines and he started to growl but Cearo readies his gun and said,"When Nema came home from the hospital..you wouldn't leave her side..you were her guardian.." then Serota snarls, started to stand up then Cearo points his weapon at his dog then he said,"rest in peace.." then a gun was fired. Nema heard it and yells,"SEROTA!!" she was about to run toward the room.

 Before Nema could run off Mina held her arm then held her close gettin g down her level and rubbed the top of her small young head Nema..sweety..don't go I know it's hard and things aren't going your way but you have to stay strong for you friend. He passed on knowing that he loved you and your brother ok? I know it's hard on you but please understand Mina said being mother like as she picked her up and held her close closing her eyes. Yui looked away and began to cry feeling it was her fault and that Nema might blame her for it, Masa sighed and walked over to Mina and Nema ....If it makes you feel better, I'll go get you a new pup if one is still alive out here and.. jhe groaned and looked away I'm sorry...

Nema reached out her hands toward the door but then she hugs Mina and cries,"he was suppose to be with us forever!!" tears steam down her eyes then she buries her face onto Mina's neck until she cried herself to sleep into Mina's arms. In the room, Cearo unlocked the door and he walks out of the room but he looks at the others and saw Mina holding Nema in her arms.
He sighs and looks away but he looks at his clothes and said,"I better change.." he then closes the door where he left Serota's body inside then he went into the restroom to wash his hands and face.

Yui walked over to her brother and held his arm O-Onii-chan..c..can we?.. her voice trailed off as she began to cry once more. Masaomi held her hand softly then walked to the room where the dog was killed, it was af if he knew where Yui wanted to go Yui..things die and soon enough we'll die if we keep this up..ok? now go put the dog in the ER room and just come back he said leaving her in the room with that. Yui cried more and walked over to the Serota and picked him up with ease and took him to the ER room being careful not to get any of the blood on her. Back with Mina she gently bounced Nema and took her to her room and gently laid her on the bed. Mina then left the door open and walked back to the group Where's Itsuki? he needs to be here and Jeran please put Len on to sleep ok? it's getting late she said as Len cooed more looking at his father smiling.

Nema was sound asleep but tears continue to drip off her face. Cearo walks out of the restroom then he looks at Serota's collar, he picks up and he said,"thanks Mina.." Cearo then sits on the empty chair and didn't bother to say another word.

Jeran nodded and walked down the hall with len. He opened the door to the Hospital Delivery room and pulled out one of the cribs that wasn't bolted to the ground and rolled it to his and Mina's room. He set it across from there bed so he could see it and layed Len inside under the blanket. Rena still had her emotionless look on her face. She walked over to Cearo and stared at him for a moment crossing her arms. "Do not let this anchor you. Just food for thought but." She said glancing over at the sleeping Nema then back to Cearo. "You'll need to teach her to defend herself."

Cearo looks at Rena then said,"how in the hell am I suppose to teach her? she always had Serota protecting her and now.urgh.." his looks away and then continues,"she is just a kid..what do you want me to do? teach her to shoot?" he was just done with everything..He wanted this whole horror to end but he then stands up and he wanted to go outside for a breather but couldn't,"excuse me while I bury my dog.." he said this with a frustrated tone.

No problem Mina said responding to Cearo's thank you, she scanned the room for everyone and saw that Itsuki came in justg in time for announcement Yes, Itsuki I called you here because as a group we need to discuss about Nema and our defenses she said folding her arms and looking a bit concerned. As of right now we have the Convoy group, Itsuki, and the new boy that just came in. Our defenses are great but we need everyone to fight so Rena is right Cearo, Nema needs to be taught how to defend herself with and without a weapon. I know she's just a child but..But nothing Mina, I was only seven when I began to train with my father so she should start training now Masaomi said as he walked in with Yui. Mina turned her head to see him So? Masaomi you were raised differently from Nema so we can't just force her to be trained...but once se does start we'll teach her martial arts first Mina said finising her sentence. Yui looked at Nema then back at the group Yeah but..not martial arts she needs to learn long range combat..like ninja training but that's up to her brother Yui suggested then looked at Cearo. Meanwhile Len was in the crib falling asleep and cuddling the blanket Jeran put over him.

Neah had been sitting in an apartment opposite the hospital, he had planned to go in and scavenge supplies but noticed people inside, it changed his plans and sat where his was now watching the hospital though his rifles scope.
He stretched and shifted himself standing from the chair and resting the rifle down on the ground and walked to the small camping stove and pans he had and opened one of his last cans of food with a sigh "I really need to either trust those people or move on and risk running out of supplies before finding another place to resupply

Nema opens her eyes and over heard what was going on but she heard her brother that Serota was always he one that protect her but since now that he is gone, she was not sure on what to do then she heard foot steps coming so she instantly closes her eyes and pretends to sleep. Cearo stops and looks at her then he walks in and places the collar on the nightstand then he walks out of the room and left the door half way open. Cearo looks at Yui then he said,"I say its a bad Idea..I know Nema then any of you.." he walks up toward the group and crosses his arms and he continues,"she is afraid to fight..she never likes to fight..you hand a gun to her then she drops it out of fear..if you all are worried about then take her in!!" Nema's eyes widened then she creeps up toward the door and peeks. Cearo then said again,"sorry to sound like an a**hole but there is no way in hell that someone can talk her into defending herself.."

Masaomi went over to Cearo and placed a kunai up to his neck If she doesn't learn soon..the next best thing that's close to her will soon won't be around to protect her. Look around you if she's afraid to face reality or fight then you better be damn sure she's going to die young he said as he looked into his eyes with anger an concern. Yui tried to push her brother Brother no! If Nema is afraid then-!Don't pull that crap on me Yui! you know you were like Nema, afraid to fight when father tried to train you until one day you saw that I was in a near death experience..so on tat day you changed and faught to protect someone you care about! Masa yelled out. Mina grabbed Masa's free hand We can't change what's best for these siblings Masaomi..One day Nema will be strong enough to fight

Rena was about to say something when Jeran came in. "I'll teach her." He said in a loud serious voice causing Rena to look at him in surprise. "Masaomi put your knife away. We do not need to be fighting amongst each other but i have to agree she needs to be taught to defend herself. The sooner the better. I'm not saying this as a father or as a leader. I'm saying this as one friend to another. If we don't stick together our days will be limited. How old is Nema by the way?" He asked.
