Elric crossed his arms. "I don't know, I'd find a use for it." He said as he pretended to pout. In any case, his aunt was right, that armor didn't have a purpose with him.

Flashback #01: Nina learns of Crystals

Eca smiled and began to explain to the little girl. "Its a crystal Nina, it's for all sorts of things." He patted the girl on the shoulder. "Yep, and it's only something special people can do too."

Eric smiled and led her further and further away from the kids, leading Mina to their bedroom. "We won't know that for sure until we try. I'm wiling to see what happens." He said as he pulled her in closer, the door slowly closed behind them.

"I guess you're right." Elric yawned and stretched just a bit. The long day was getting to him. "So, how does it feel knowing you're made of crystal? I mean, it really doesn't look like it makes a difference."

Flashback #01: Nina learns of Crystals

Eca chuckle and shook her head. "I don't think so, it took me a long time do do it, and years to do it well." She said as she placed the Crystal in her pocket. "

Eric returned the kiss of his wife. "Yeah, I can only hope so." He thought, hate having to think that Skylar would be his only son. Not much more needed to be said on how he and Mina spent the rest of their night together.

"Sure thing cousin. I don't mind, you know I don't have visitors." He answered Nina. It didn't matter much to him, friends didn't come over much anymore. They had lives now, so having Nina as company was greatly appreciated.

Flashback #01: Nina learns of Crystals

Ecalena blinked, did this little girl just create a crystal all by herself. She knew of the girl's origins but, she never expected her to make a crystal! Let alone at such a young age. She picked up the crystal from Nina's hand and looked at it with utter fascination.

"Well I'll be..."

"I don't blame you, I walked in on my parents once, wasn't happy times at all." Elric shivered some. Those were memories best not relived. "But anyways Nina, we'll have to portal run it. I didn't ride here with my compact today." He answered, the compact he referred to was a sky chaser model designed by Eca to be a sky chaser capable of minimizing into a card. "Might as well get a move on, so go stuff whatever you have to in your bag and lets move"

Nodding his head, Elric began their walk for the portal stations. It wasn't a long walk, just a few blocks down the road. The portal stations were everywhere these days, mainly because their were local portals as well as traditional long distance.

"Man, it feels so much different to walk at night at Duo than it is at Uni. You don't have the Wind Walkers Gang to deal with." He said to Nina. They were practically ninjas, couldn't be heard and very fast.

In the darkness, a pair of eyes was staring at them. Primarily at Nina, it hungered for her, carefully choosing it's moment to strike at her. It stalked her from the shadows, making sure not to reveal it's body in the light.

"Easy there tough girl." He teased, typical Nina mentality to go and fight. It was in her blood after all. And then came the way she grew up. Practically learned a sword before she could walk. "But I'm not going to stop you, just be smart about it."

It was then the figure which stalked them took his chance to fight. The rushing wind, Elric felt it and looked to Nina's side. Something was coming towards them and fast. "Nina look out!" He pushed her away, taking the brunt of the attack. He could have been stabbed if he didn't put his sword out in front of him in time.

The figure was hooded, having straight golden hair and soulless eyes that flickered about in many colors, yet not the same color in each eye at the same time. His left arm was in a much longer sleeve compared to his right. It dragged on the ground.

The male looked his covered arm, and then at Nina herself. "I, think I'm called Connor. You, I must devour you!" He started walking towards her slowly, his right arm extending outwards towards her. "Let me touch you..."

Elric skidded over to Nina and leaned his face to her ear. "This is either a zombie or one of the creepiest fanboys you have ever had. Heck it could be both, so uh, what do we do?"
