Internet is failing me something terrible now so I'll just go to bed I guess orz... sorry this is kinda short and fast :c))
"Yeah, it's fine." Lavi answered once they were inside the bar, leaning back against one of the well-polished tables fitted snugly inside the room, his hands gripping the sides. Much like the rest of the hotel, the bar was very fancy, with a sleek, mahogany bar stretched out across the room and a wall of bottles behind it, sparkling in the lights. He drummed his fingers on the underside of the table and sighed a little, wondering how to start. "I thought about what you told me..." He finally began, staring at a small nick in the wooden floor a little further away , "And... it doesn't matter." He nodded once to himself, as if to confirm his own thoughts. "I mean... obviously it's not what I wanted to hear and it bothers me a lot, but..." His shoulders slowly rose in a shrug and he opened and closed his mouth a few times, looking for the right words to say. "I... I love you and you actually love me back and that's crazy and you're crazy for wanting to be with me but as long as you do... I'm here." He looked at her then, a small smile playing on his lips. "Even if you're still in love with someone else..."

She was grateful for his gentle touch and her lip quivered a little as she closed her eyes momentarily, feeling his thumb against her cheek. She bit her lip harder as he asked why she questioned him about his knowledge of the Noah, a small, involuntary noise of apprehension coming from her throat. She took a deep breath in and looked up at him, putting her hands on his arms a little desperately, "Please..please don't..," she looked around, stalling for a moment before turning back to him, "don't hate me after this..." she looked him directly in the eye, pleading a little. She looked at the rest of his face as she swallowed, "I was engaged to Luci's father...and he's...," she hung her head, finishing quietly, "he's one of them."
She removed herself from him, hugging her arms around her middle again. She felt in that moment that she didn't deserve to hold onto him, so she turned away. Her tears pushed over the edges of her eyes again, and she wiped them away quickly, sniffling. She braced herself for his reaction, expecting the worst.

((Also tired out, since I just started out my new job which involves waking up at 6AM every week day... recuperating this weekend! You need to get a lot of rest! ;u;

Thank you Ms. Liv. How are you by the way? Sil: Oh no, maybe you should get some sleep as well and plenty of it! As for the manga, I found some quick emotes recently but I haven't gotten to read it yet. Was it any good?
