Got one or two more posts to make for Khyber, then I'm pretty much done. Just finding it hard to make time this week. Work's got me on a weird schedule; working a few nights, a few mornings, and then a few evenings. Playing havoc with my brain...

my only question is what would drive a person such as krosis to be in the mid rim, considering the sith threat is not even a year old, long enough to know what a female lepi was; particularly since Lepi are fairly unimportant in the scheme of the galaxy. A minor droid shop, perhaps, but they aren't entirely you know.... isolationist. Quite a few venture to the stars.
That'd be my only curiosity. It's kind of like taking a trip to Cheyenne Wyoming. Unless you really have some business there, most people look at you funny for going elsewise for any other reason.

I suppose the same could apply to any given character.
For example, given Danika's training and pacifistic nature, why would she know anything at all as far as tactics? During the planetary invasion Cinn was behind at the start of the chapter, she offered a tactical " Pick them off one by one. " approach that offered a leisurely pace with minimal risk. She's not a military type in the slightest, so it doesn't really serve her much purpose.
However, nothing says a character can't dabble. Maybe Jian even knows how to sew, just because one day he got bored during downtime and decided to read a datapad with info on it and later attempted it, just to see if he could.
The point is, yeah, it might not make any practical sense, but there's nothing realistically preventing someone from having what amounts to random trivia knowledge.

Difference being that Krosis was part of the sith empire, not some sort of lepi uprising. I get what you mean, and as I said, it's merely idle curiosity how he managed to somehow sneak that far into the mid rim and back again in the what... 4 months the sith have been around? Regardless, I suppose people want me to set up the festivities?

The Sith have only been in this part of the galaxy openly for the past 4 months or so, but they have been operating secretly in the Republic for centuries. Khyber's very existence is a byproduct of this meddling, and Krosis has probably spent as much (or perhaps more) time in Republic space over the last few decades as he has among the Sith.

The Sith Empire prepares for war
The Sith Emperor had ordered preparations for an invasion of the Republic as early as 3,954 BBY, nearly three centuries before the war began. Four years later, these initial plans were delayed thanks in large part to the efforts of the legendary redeemed Jedi, Revan.
But the Empire would not be dormant in the following years. The Emperor's war preparations continued nonetheless, with only the timing of invasion postponed. As the decades and centuries went by, the Sith fleet grew to enormous numbers while Imperial agents operated in secret, arranging alliances both within and outside of Republic space.
Imperial operatives were successful in securing an alliance with the Chiss Ascendancy, as well as installing puppet governments in key positions in the Republic's Outer Rim systems. Before a shot had been fired, the Empire had already secretly brought the Belkadan, Ruuria, and Sernpidal systems under its control.

If you insist on insulting my intelligence by quoting an entry i've reread numerous times during the creation of this rp, then you've more than well succeeded. However, I fail to see how Krosis counts as an imperial agent for one, and second, this small idle question is slowly blowing out of proportion since nobody seems to want to let it die down. I'm not even going to bring up the whole spiel about "this isn't a canon rp" crap either, since I honestly just want people to post, rather than waste time arguing over a tiny a** detail why some t**t decided to visit one of the least well known star systems in the galaxy for a party trip.
Capiche? I'll forgive the slight, if we can just move on.

I know the rp isn't canon. Most good ones allow for the characters to be able to affect the history that is being created around them. However, I was under the impression that we were operating under at least the basic idea of the war, that being that this is a full-scale invasion that the Sith have been planning for a very long time.
As for failing to see how Krosis counts as an agent, I've made it very clear throughout my posts in the RP that this was his primary role. The last year of Khyber's backstory and most of his activity thus far has been him tracking Krosis across the galaxy, as he has moved from one subversive undercover operation to the next.
And I didn't include the wiki quote as an insult, I was just backing up a claim with evidence. That's something that I think a lot of people would like to see more of on the internet. If you perceived it as insulting then that's your problem, not mine.
Look, if you have this much problem with such a minor issue then just ignore the invite and we'll both go about our business as if the other didn't exist.
