Ayame shook her head and snapped her fingers so that Daichi would come to her."Now his own agenda comes out."She said only low enough to where Daichi could hear her and possibly the kage. She knew what it was to want to do nothing but learn, but was he truly one that was worthy of learning one of Suna's jutsus? She shrugged her shoulders if the kage said he could then he could, it wasn't her decision. But the kage usually had things up her sleeves. Daichi walked over to his tamer and sat beside her, then popped his neck. He liked watching the kage work whether it was really her or not. He looked around where was that kitten they had found for her? He had the strange notion to play at the moment.

Ayame's comment reached the fake Kage's ears, and in response, a set of eyes appeared on its back again. They winked at the Jounin furtively, out of sight of their guest; it seemed that there was, indeed, a plan afoot.
Back at the Office, the small sphinx cat would sneeze and roll over in the sunlight streaming through a window overlooking the Village. Sunagakure was such a good place for a cat to warm its belly in the sun.

-----"Souseki Fuuin" was the answer received, though it was said after a moment of silence to remember the book he had read. Jack had an uncanny ability, however, to read lips, so close were his senses tuned to catch the nuances of the human body, so realizing what had been said about him did register. However, he paid it no mind. The request of learning came separate of the alliance for a good reason: they had nothing to do with one another. One was for the benefit of mankind, one for a personal use. Their uses and meanings were apart and thus they should be clearly defined as such. Cocking his head to the side, the odd male spoke again, though this time to the tamer. "If you do not trust me, you are free to have her follow me, or another. I only seek access to this jutsu, and I will be willing to trade equally for it, should you allow."

"We'll look into that Jutsu," the fake Kazekage responded blandly, her face statuesque. "We will not, however, be sending one of our Shinobi out with an unknown entity. Go forth and gather your allies; Suna will continue on as normal in the meantime. Should we locate this seal of yours, you won't be getting access to it until after your counterattack, at the very earliest. Is there anything else you want to add, Ayame?"
The pseudo-Bast's features started to blur as things wrapped up. Creases in its clothing uncreased, the gourds on its back became more rounded, and the ceremonial hat it wore became less and less separate from her head until she appeared to be a humanoid mushroom. Several eyes briefly fluttered open on its back before shutting again.

She was fairly glad that she was more so like a wolf than a human it made her act very differently from other people. Made it easier for her as well seeing as people couldn't read her. It would take a few seconds for the earth shattering kaboom to hit the ears of those in conversation, as the length of the crevice had to carry the sound. The sound would be followed with garbled yelling, instructions, and bits of laughter.
Standing atop the crevice further down from the entrance, a large tall man could be seen in red and black armor, calling down jovial orders to the working crews of shinobi below, his head band's bandanna flowing in the wind behind his short spiked hair, the sun reflecting of of the piece with mirror intensity. He called down to the men and women pointing and waiving as the crews shaped earth and chakra to the directions of his will.The man cast his own hand in at times as the machinery and jutsu combined in the crevices top walls.
A few moments later the tall, wide shouldered shinobi would walk his way over to the entrance, and leap down to join the others.
He stood straight and formal, outside of the current conversation.

-----As Jack was about to answer the rather rude response he had been given by both sides a loud commotion came from further in the crack. There were orders being given, sounds of the earth rumbling and the ground quaking beneath his feet. At first Jack thought he was under attack, and immediately sprung to his feet and whipped the cane upwards into a defensive posture. Hopefully the lady Kazekage's puppet wasn't going to attack him, nor the tamer and her partner, but he would not face death sitting down. Then his eyes found the loud one, a man dressed in red and black armor, and for a moment he considered assaulting the man to teach him a lesson about couth and professionalism. His lady Kazekage was in the middle of a talk, as well as one of the stronger, higher ranked shinobi, with a complete stranger and here he was making a racket that would have earned an immediate attack from someone other than himself? What was the man, mentally retarded? The annoyance flashed through him, but his smile never left his face. A few minutes later and the noises subsided somewhat, and the fool landed not too far away. Again, harsh words came to mind, but these were stifled. Looking back to the Kazekage, Jack cocked his head and did not lower his guard. "I suppose the intention was to scare me off, or perhaps you, too, were not aware we would have someone else joining our midst?"
----- The question was simple, but there was a hint of a rebuke in his words. He had expected a bit more professionalism in Sunagakure no Sato, and this upstart fool had apparently decided to shatter that illusion. Barbarian, it seemed, was not so far-fetched a name to be thrown around here. However, holding onto his annoyance would cloud his judgment, so resuming a more relaxed posture, dropping his guard, Jack ignored the new figure for the moment, though a part of his consciousness was spent observing him. "While I would love to go now, and return with haste, I would ask you to reconsider. This exchange of information would be beneficial to you as well, gaining a technique that no one, except myself, knows of in exchange for one that, when our alliance is confirmed, would allow me to be a much more apt ally. In fact, I would be more than willing to sell my services to you, or lend, or even give in the future, depending on the circumstance offered." This technique was quite the use for everything he had planned, and waiting simply for the UHV to be defeated before allowing him access was not only unreasonable, it was downright insulting, given the trade he offered in exchange.
-----However, he would not let this be the last thing on their minds, and instead continued. "However, either way, I would ask that I be allowed to purchase supplies for the long travel to Kumogakure no Sato and Kirigakure no Sato. At the moment I have exhausted those that I have reaching you." The fact that he had believed a more hospital, and not so hostile reaction to not only be warranted, but expected, was left unsaid but might well be assumed from his words. Yet the tone of his voice was polite, and could not be taken for insult, and thus taking insult would only show that those that are insulted are looking for such things in his words.

It seemed James was tuning up some of the defenses, Bast realized as the explosion hit. Far from making the speaker flinch, not even a single thread on her clothes moved as the shockwave swept past, driving her statuesque appearance to new levels. Her features sharpened again.
"You're quite the one to talk about interruptions," the Kazekage snapped. The sentence ended rather abruptly, implying some sort of self-censorship on the part of the speaker, who likely had a few more choice words for the complainant. "I'd think you an idiot if you didn't also have the presence of mind to stock up on supplies before leaving. Wait in the Tea Shoppe while someone fetches your supplies; just follow the main street and you'll eventually see its sign. Keep in mind you're in a foreign land and you are very much not a planned or welcome guest."
The false Kazekage stared at the visitor for a short moment, then turned to Ayame:
"Have Kaori run to the Superdome for the supplies, if you can find her. Afterward, come meet me in my Office. Understood? James should go there too if he wants a private chat."
The golem gave a pointed look to the newest arrival, then turned back to face the foreigner.
"You won't be spending the night and you will be monitored closely," she informed Jack.

Ayame smiled inwardly at James's perfect timing but kept her outward face expressionless as the explosion reached them. She then nodded to the kage's golem as it spoke to her."Yes ma'am,"She signaled for Daichi and as she walked past James she placed a note into his pocket. She patted Daichi on the head and waved off after the group as she headed for the academy. {EXIT}

-----Had Jack been here for his own reasons instead of for the aid of his home and the other Shinobi villages he would have told both of those before him to suck dicks and die, all before leaving them to fend for themselves against the might of the UHV. Had it not been for his diplomatic side, he would have lashed out at their incredible rudeness and the extremely bad views their reactions would illicit from anyone entering their home. From the start Jack had been polite, and since coming here he had been treated with disrespect and hostility, all unwarranted in any way. In fact, had he not been so certain of annihilation, he would have retaliated against them for their incredible idiocy, but he did not. His personal feelings meant nothing when placed against the lives of both the Cloud and Mist, against those of the shinobi world. Thus, he would hold his temper, hold back his justice-infused words and retaliations, for the sake of all he cared for. However, this just further proved his belief that the shinobi world, if it continued on as it did, would wake to find itself in a war that would end everyone, all due to the arrogance they seemed to possess collectively.
----- Taking a small breath, Jack smiled further before lowering Revelations and looking towards the puppet as it issued orders for him. He would be watched, but would not be allowed to go anywhere but the tea shop. He had to wonder just how powerful the shinobi really were here, considering the amount of terror that seeped from every action they took. Yet they would not be here alive and unharmed were they not powerful, and so he kept his judgments at bay, for the moment. Instead, he bowed low, and proceeded forward with no hint of anything other than joy and ease. "Well, I suppose I have no choice but to rely on your hospitality! Thank you for it, and I will await whomever you send to me at the Tea Shop." Names meant nothing to him, not when there was no information for him to access with them, and thus he referred to the person as neuter. Without any haste, Jack tapped his way into the crevice, heading for what he had been told would be the Tea Shop. "I will be leaving tonight, then!"

James cocked his head slightly to the side at the man's comment. Frighten him off? why would they frighten him off? people we so much harder to kill when they ran scared. It didn't really matter, James was used to people from other villages having interesting perceptions on things. James looked the man over, listening to Jack's biosigns and watching the blood pump through his veins, smelling the chemicals he sweated out. i'll remember this one
James nodded to Bast orders and smiled to Ayame. It was easy enough to furfill her notes request. James watched the man head towards the tea shoppe, and after making a second of himself, headed off towards the office.

The false Kazekage watched as the others left, then shifted into the form of an incredibly long snake. It eyed James for a short moment before slithering off toward the Residential District. It had a nice bath in a lake to look forward to.
