Kana turned around
in Zane's arms to look
him in his eyes.
"Y-You really feel that way?"
She laid her head upon his chest.
"I'll wait for the day when
you can love me like I love you.
When you will want me..," Kana pressed her body
against his, "Like I want you..."
She pulled away gentle and
continued to walk to their bedroom
where she laid on he bed and
buried her face in the pillow
with a weary sigh.

He kissed her cheek and closed his eyes.

The heat of it still lingered.
She closed her eyes slowly,
letting the last thing she saw
be Zane's face.
"I'll wait forever for you..."
Her words trailed off as she
drifted to sleep besides
her mate.
