That was probably the best news Penny heard all night. It almost made her forget about everything else. She choaked with a bit of giddiness, "That's awesome, Reg. I wonder how long he's been sitting on that."

"Seems like a while." Regina admitted. "He sat down on a chair in front of me like he was going to propose marriage." she laughed, not even thinking about that seriously.

For whatever reason that made Penny laugh hard. She was probably just a tad bit dillerious from the day and Regina's love life was a great escape, "Well, that wouldn't shock me either at this point. He's probably got a ring just waiting."

"Oh don't say things like that." Regina giggled a bit. "I'm nervous enough about dating him... and we need to keep it quiet. For one thing, I don't want bad rumors to spread. And another, I'd worry Xavier wouldn't approve..."

Penny shook her head getting a little more serious, "That is probably the least of his concerns right now. I won't tell anybody, you're my gossip buddy. Although, he may have to tell Xavier anyway."

"He can tell him... I'd fall over." Regina said, leaning against the wall. "Professor Xavier had to convince me not to try tracking you down as is."

"Well, no, I mean, for saftey reasons," Penny motioned her finger around her eyes, "To be careful, you know? You need to be careful too, but I know you know that... But being the one that I am, the last note Xavier has in his file is that they're working on breaking whatever he has going on in his head that makes his power non controlable... government crap..."

"Oh. Yeah." Regina thought about that. "I'm afraid about that... I want to look at his eyes but I can't. I knowt he warning so I won't but... one can only hold out so long you know?"

"Tricks?" a confused Regina asked. "What do you mean by that? I'm not a telepath..."

"It's something..." Regina sighed a bit. "I've never had... this. No one has ever asked me out before, and if they did, I declined because of training or school. I'm not even sure what to do or wear."

"Oh yeah. Definately." Regina sat up. "But you should rest don't you think?"

"I bet a bowl of ice cream on them all being awake in their rooms this evening," Penny got up and looked out their door. She really wasn't in pain anymore, just tired mostly, "It would be kind of mean not to tell them."

"Agreed. I'm sure they're worried too." Regina stood beside her to make sure she was alright.

Penny took a deep breath in, her body was still telling her to sit her a** down, "Okay, I think you win. Hand me my comm badge please."

When Regina did, Penny programmed it to call her teammates, "Hey boys, I'm home. Get some rest... and thanks, I hear you all were real heros today... I'll talk to you all about the others tomorrow... there's a lot I'm sure the big dogs aren't going to share."

"Break out the champagne..." he mumbled to himself.

He paced around his room a few minutes, the reality of the situation settling in. A loud bang sounded through the silence in his room. There was now a fist-sized crater of cracked wood in Morgan's wall.

"We couldn't save them. No matter what, we couldn't have saved them," he told himself, the mixed feelings of rage and helplessness flowing through his mind. He withdrew his hand from the fresh crater in his wall, and simply stared at the floor.

OOC: You get grounded a lot smile j/k Dani is in the Infimary at the moment.

Venom had stood behind Frost Queen and Pharoah, as she listened to what Ahab had in store for them. Though her comrades seemed eager to attack, she seemed to be calm, watching Frost Queen with hazed grey eyes.

"Frost Queen... take the others. Those damn X-Men let all the prisoners loose. They are dangerous to us and to all humans... do your purpose and kill them all. But stay away from Xavier and that Brotherhood house. I want NO INTERFERANCE."

Venom smirked softly as she heard this. So apparently, they'd get to do their dirty work soon. She looked over at Ahab, wondering what he truely had in purpose for them.

All in due time, I suppose. All in due time. She thought to herself, folding her arms over her chest.
She looked over at Frost Queen, nodding back to her before the three of them left the room.

Regina got herself into something suitable to see the professor, not like it was difficult. He was generous and kind when talking to them so she wasn't worried. Not too much anyway. She got out to the hall where Penny was wiating. "Ready..."

"You've never been with me when I talk to Chuck, right?" Penny asked her leading the way to Xavier's office.

"Not really. Is it any different than when we talk to him as a team?" she asked, following Penny.

Penny shook her head, "Yes, which is why I'm giving you a heads up. Let's just call him... a surrogate parent for me. We're pretty blunt and I'm not all that friendly when we want something. I'm not entirely sure why he puts up with it. Probably because he's just too damn nice sometimes."

"He is nice, granted." Regina relented. "But a surragate parent? I've never seen him like that before...This should be interesting. What do you think his reaction will be to Porter?"

"Jean and Scott can do it, why not you two. It's not like it's old man Logan," Penny grinned and knocked on the door. She had known Xavier since she was young so it was true she held a different relationship here. Although, she sometimes forgot that her place still was that of a guest and student in the household. Arrogance was often blinding in Penny's sake.

Xavier bid them enter and offered them a seat. His greeting was a typical sincere tiding that he was glad Penny was alright, "But I am positive you are here to discuss Gen... and Jacen. I know you are convinced they are alive despite Cerebro not beign able to locate them."

Regina nodded. "They are alive. I seriously doubt that whatever has changed them let them die. They're alive and against us... it can't be let to continue Professor. And what about Blair? he's out there too."

"Teagan as well," Penny nodded, "I watched them get picked off one at a time. I watched them as they looked at me like a peice of meat waiting to be turned. I saw it in Jacen's eyes and in Gen's... their personalities are back there. They're just knocked so far backwards they can't stop the evil."

Xavier folded his hands and took a deep breath, "I cannot send you after them. Even if we knew where they might be... They are dangerous. The senior X-Men have to handle this."

Penny decided that this route of dicussion wasn't going to lead anywhere just yet. She sat back and looked at Xavier, "I want to know about Jacen. You know more about him that anybody here or at the Brotherhood house."

Xavier looked at her not correlating why she needed the information. Penny kept them on that course and Xavier pulled out a file with what she wanted to know. She listed and the something struck her. Boston... why do I have a feeling you're heading up North then?

"And that is all the information I have," Xavier said when finished.

Penny looked at Regina with a 'trust me' kind of glance, "So what do you think about Porter and Regina?"

Xavier raised a brow. "What about Porter and Regina?"

"Well... he asked me out. And I'd like to see what happens... so is it okay?"

"Apparently I am not the all knowing Professor as they say I am," Xavier smiled a bit at that, "Well, I guess it is since as I am sure Evelyn was about to point out to me... you are technically graduated from your high school studies. Yes, Evelyn, your intensions were as plain as day. And no, I cannot control what you do since you are not a student, but I can remind you that the people who will follow the both of you will put their necks on the line because you are their leaders."

Penny sat up, "I would never ask anybody out there to do something for me that I wouldn't do for them. If Jamie came up to me and said his mother was kidnapped by a seventeen foot ogre, I'd ask him when we were leaving to save her. I have never brought them into something I didn't think we'd make it out from. You know me better than that. I'd die before I let any of them get hurt."

"Juno, then," Xavier held up a peice of paper that had her codename change request.

"Yea, the mother," Penny said, "And by procol and the likes, I won't ask them to do anything and you won't know that I'm going to do anything. I'm going on a field trip tonight. I'll be back in a week or so."

"Excuse me? Field trip?" Regina looked at penny. "We're a team yes? We're friends too, so if you go somewhere then I'm going to go too. Don't lock me out of this, especially if it's to help someone we both know. I may not be on the best of terms with Jacen, but I don't disapprove of him."

Penny quite literally bit her tounge at the moment. Her personality flaw just seeped through. Not everything was about her, "I know you are, Reg... I just... got carried away there. We're going on a field trip then."

"Be careful then," Xavier said and handed Penny files on all of the student's turned into hounds, "If you run into trouble... study their files. And remember this isn't about you, Evelyn. This is about the kids. It's your known flaw in battle."

"It's about keeping promises and being able to sleep at night," Penny stood up with Regina and took the files, "I finished my promises for you and my mom, I graduated. I need to finish my promise to Jacen... and Gen..."

Regina nodded and took a couple of the files. "Our team will be meeting in the library at noon. Something tells me that Porter is either going to come in blazing saddles or he'll run after us when we go." She joked. "He doesn't want us to get into trouble."

Danielle woke up and slowly opened her eyes. 'Where am I?' She thought. She looked around, and nothing seemed familiar. She wasn't in her room in the institute. The room she was in slightly resembled a hospital room. And every time she would move, her body ached, so she layed back down waiting to see if anyone would come.

"I've been better." Danielle said sarcasticly.
"Answer me this Jamie, do I look as bad as I feel?" She asked.

Danielle smiled and blushed a little. "Thanks. Exactly what happened last night? I thought I was gonna get captured by that guard."
