Adrian looked at the young male before him before looking at the slender hand that had been placed on his shoulder. He was perplexed by the tone and actions. Dov reminded him of the male wolves he saw when they were trying to attract a female in heat... he glanced over his shoulder, no female. He then looked back at the male, and mentally shrugged. Maybe this was a garaff characteristic.
"Wolves are a wild dog breed that is hard to tame though many have tried. They are pack animals with an alpha in both genders that runs the pack. They have litters of 4 or 5 cubs, normally." Adrian paused in his informative speech. He really didn't know that much about wolves other then they hunted in packs, where loyal to eachother absolutely, and partied way to loud and long when he was trying to sleep in his grove. The were suductive creatures as well which caused the fox to steer clear of them. He knew his red fox cousins were sly and known for being suductive and partiers as well... which is why the pack near him were surprised to find that he was anything but. Grey foxes were secritive, quiet, and tried to draw no attention to themselves... and he more then others.
He looked at the garaff again and held up the book once more, "I think this will aid you in your research more than I would." His voice once again stoic and bland.

He held the book lightly, before placing it back on the self. He then leaned over the other as he reached up higher for another book that he thought would aid the boy. He was oblivious to his body's closeness to the other as he stretched his lean body upwards with the grace of his breed.

Dov took this chance and leaned forward, wrapping his tanned arms loosely around the other's waist. "Mmmm... I think I'd like that book," he purred into the other's ear, pointing up with one hand to a large, dusty tomb that pretained to wolves and their relatives. It was very large and undoubtedly very difficult.

"Hn, sure. No- Yeah, it's fine. I'll be there, don't worry." Juggling his phone in one hand while he attempted to microwave a bowl of rather unappetizing-looking noodles, Benji sighed heavily, nodding against the phone as the glass bowl clinked against the bottom of the plastic heating machine of death- or at least that's what his friends had taken to calling it. The microwave was old, something his parents gave him because they never used it, and on occasion it would spark and end up burning whatever was in it to a nice crisp.

"Yeah, I'll just swing by later tonight or something," he continued, leaning against the counter as he chatted away, "I'll take him here first and...hey, what do you want me to do with 'im exactly?" He asked suddenly, pausing for a moment as if listening to an answer before continuing with a distraught expression. "You know I suck as these kinds of things, I don't even know why-- No...No, I'm giving up on it. I'll do it, I just don't want to hurt him or anything."

Jade eyes narrowed gently. "As long as he's not dead when he gets here, do whatever it takes. We had a deal, did we not?" Wei was currently huddled off in a far corner, out of hearing distance, or so he hoped, from the kitten.

"H-hai. I just... I'd feel sort of bad if I accidently hurt him, you know? I don't mind...I really don't mind roughin' him up a bit but I don't want to hurt him too bad. You think he'll just give up after a while? It'd make things a lot easier on my end," the young man murmured, watching as the sauce drizzled over his pasty colored noodles startled to jump and boil as the clock counted down the seconds in a bright neon green.

"Hm. He... He'll go with the flow once he knows there's nothing he can do. I'd try threatening him if he doesn't seem to be letting go quick enough. Just tell him I'll rip that little-" Wei's eyes narrowed dangerously, "-piece of s**t he's become so attached to apart if he doesn't...stop...crying. Tell him that and it should shut him up."

Benji's posture relaxed slightly, "How...compassionate of you," he murmured into the reciever with a lazy grin, orange eyes flickering upwards at the sound of the old microwave shutting down with a series of sizzles and pops. "It's almost frightening to see such a kind side of you," he said in a teasing manner, tapping slender fingers against the counter top.

Wei smiled briefly into the phone, laughing just barely before continuing in a quiet voice, "Come late. I need to make sure the little kitten is asleep. Can't have him thinking I'm a bad person." He smirked as he said this.

Benji nodded a few more times before muttering a farewell, setting down his phone before taking out his fried noodles. Just a few more hours and everything would be over.

Adrian's eyes widened as he felt the others arms intertwine around his narrow waist. Quickly his mind flashed through the few articles that he had learned about garaffs... they neck those they consider friends... maybe that was what this action was. A sign of friendship-- strange, he had just met the boy, oh well... plant consumers were weird.
His cobalt eyes drifted up to where the boy had pointed. He nodded, and with a twist of his hips his body was free of the other's grasp. Then with grace and ease he sauntered over to the rolling ladder, swung himself up in one smooth motion, placed his slender digits around the books binding and pulled it free of the grasp that the surronding books had on it. His arms were strong from life in the woods and hadn't dwindled because of all his box lifting and lugging he did for this job. So he carried it down with ease but placed it on a small table that was situated nearby that was used for customers to skim through books to see if they contained what they wished. He took a cleaning cloth from his pocket and wiped off the book before gesturing towards it for Dov.
"Here you are."

Swallowing the last chunk of noodles, Benji let out a gentle sigh. He supposed it was now or never. If he couldn't bring forth the courage to do something...not exactly moral now then he wouldn't ever be able to. Checking his pockets for the third time, the young man eyed his front door with a frown. Wei had never said he had to hurt the kid. He could just... make him fall asleep somehow and then transport him-- either way he would be committing a rather serious crime-- Oh well.

Setting the now empty bowl on the counter, Benji sighed once more in nervousness before leaving his condo. He just needed to get this done and over with. Checking his pockets for the essentials one last time, the orange-eyed male headed down the small flight of steps towards the outside where he had parked his car.

Pocketing his cell phone with a more than disturbing expression, Wei sauntered over towards the kitten slowly, a sadistic grin still curled upon his lips. "Eh, so what exactly happened with this friend of yours? You've got me all curious now," he murmured, his smile softening to much less eerie one, jade eyes flickering between the sky outside and Liao's eyes.

He needed to find a way to get the kid distracted. He highly doubted the kitten would be so fazed over whatever problem he was mulling over to fail to notice the soon-to-be unconnscious bird sleeping on his couch, preferabley his bed but he wasn't sure how that would go over with said kitten. He didn't want to answer too many questions.

Once they had arrived at the apartment, Liao - still feeling quite grumpy - had taken out his new sheet music and settled down on the couch to study it. He looked up, clear gray eyes flashing quite obvious irritation. His lips curved down in a small scowl - it was obvious that he neither wished to be disturbed nor was he in a particularly good mood.

"Nothing happened. I got yelled at and got my sheet music. That's it," he said shortly. It was another glimpse of that cold, angry personality he had showed earlier at the pizza parlor. His gaze returned to the sheet music without even bothering to wait for a reply.

Raising his hands in defeat, Wei shook his head slightly, "Fine. I'll take your word for it," he murmured with a faint frown, lowering his hands to his pockets as he swiveled around towards his bedroom. Stupid kitten, always lying to him. He could almost feel it-- Liao's sudden angry front-- it created some sort of bad, tense feeling in the room. He didn't like the feeling, so his room seemed like a very good idea, even if he'd have nothing amuse himself there.

Pressing a dark hand against his door, Wei closed his eyes for a moment before slipping inside the room. He was nervous. More than nervous, he was ancious. Teasing dark hair, jade eyes swung over towards the single window. The snake knew if he couldn't keep Haro with him soon that the little bird would do something stupid and everything would be over. He needed this to work-- this plan he had set in motion.

[["But you don't have to take my word for it." -LeVar Burton from Reading Rainbow, ah childhood memories. 83]]

----

Golden eyes scrunched up slightly, as the small teen peered upwards with a small, questioning frown. "Ne, you should go to bed too, at least sometime soon," he almost chided in a quiet voice, gentle fingers brushing over one of the tiger's bandaged hands.

Sock-covered feet padding softly against the floor, Haro rounded the framing that led towards the stairs. Once out of view, the boy leaned slowly against the stair's railing, his features losing any hint of a smile as he pressed a tense hand against the patch between his neck and shoulder. "Nnn-" Biting his lower lip as he made his way upstairs, wavering slightly as he reached the top, Haro let out a hissed sigh. Stupid snake. Stupid, stupid snake.

----

Fingering the scribbled address between two fingers, Benji frowned slightly. It wasn't exactly far from his own home, but- No. No, he was too far to go back on his promise now. He'd do this one job for Wei and then...never again. Never again would he even dream of helping the poor b*****d. He was only doing this to get a good- He wouldn't touch the kid, he had already decided that, but...he-

Gripping the streering wheel of his small car, Benji let out another soft sigh. Just get this over already.

For some reason, Wei's reaction only made Liao even angrier, if possible. But... if he exploded at the older male now.... Well, nothing good could come of it, that was for sure. It would only make Wei even more suspicious... probably. Liao even half wished that Penn was there so that he could punch him or... something to sifen off his anger.

Still fuming, he tried to study his sheet music. Only... he couldn't focus. He kept reading the same notes over and over until he finally just gave up and stuffed the sheets back into his bag.

There was only one thing that could relieve such agitation - as far as he knew, at least. He took out his violin and bow and began to play one of the songs he had learned years ago - a violent, angry song that was very good for expressing frustration and other ill feelings.

**

Shin nodded slowly and offered the other a small smile. "Yeah... I will. In a bit," he murmured. In truth, he was very tired. But... he had to take care of some things before he went to bed. He had to tidy up - even though the house was sparklingly clean. He was just a nit picker that way.

((SHin is being mean to me again. ;^; ))

[[There isn't much more for you to respond to unless you want to interrupt something, otherwise I really don't care if you reply or not. ^^]]

Upon sitting down on his bed, Wei picked through his pockets for his phone with a frown. Dialing a familiar number, he bit against his lip ring anciously. "Oi, why the hell didn't you call? You said you'd call me when you got- What? You-"

Benji's grip on the phone tightened. "Stop freaking out, you're making me nervous. No, I don't have him yet, okay? I said I'd call you when I did and I will. Jeez. No, I said no already," he muttered into the reciever while flicking on his turn signal as he stalled at a red light.

[[I love how he'll go kidnap someone and yet follow the traffic laws. :B]]

Wei bit back a hiss as he stared hard out the window. "Just hurry up, would you? I need to get him here tonight. At the latest tomorrow... and make sure that damn tiger doesn't see you, okay?"

Orange eyes narrowed slightly as Benji muttered something under his breath in response. "I'm not an idiot, you b*****d." Eyes flickering up for a street sign, the young man turned at the proper one, murmuring a swift good bye to the snake as he slowed his speed in order to figure out just which house was the right one.

[[Forgot Emo-chan]]

Laying on his back, staring up at the ceiling (which had quite a few swirls and designs painted with a bland cream color), Haro frowned softly in concern. He hoped Shin would go rest a while soon, the slender boy didn't thinking losing so much blood was good for anyone... and Shin had to be tired, ne? Whenever Wei would- His frown deepening, the golden-amber eyed teen curled onto his side, facing the window with a rather uncomfortable expression. He needed to start forgetting about Wei and about what he had done. It didn't make his insides feel very nice, which wasn't helping him sleep.

Fingers curling around the edges of his pillow, Haro sighed. He almost wished he had never met Shin. He could've...lived with Wei and he wouldn't have known any better, any kinder, any nicer, any...-- he would have been able to take it--but now... Now he would do anything to stay away from the snake and keep it that way. Stay away from Wei and...make sure, for as long as the tiger was willing, to stay with him instead.

[[Ah, soup. Gives me the energy to allow my muse to be tortured. Woot. 83]]

Turning off his headlights, the young man glanced down at the slip of paper a few more times before slowing the car to a halt a few blocks behind the intended house. He wasn't sure how he was going to do this, he hadn't exactly thought this far in advance.

Wei had told him where Haro's room should be and he had also told him that "the tiger, stupid b*****d, is a complusive freak and won't leave anything unlocked. You'll have to be clever," or so he had said in his usual irritated voice. Benji could almost see him frowning like always. Well, he supposed love birds got shorted when it came to smarts, because he hadn't figured a way to get into the house. Everything up until that point and afterwards were engraved into his head, but... that one simple task was still-

He could always fly around and...well, he wasn't sure anyone would have windows open in such cold weather, but it was a start.

Benji, having been able to change in and out of forms many more times than the other bird that occupied the area, was much more skilled when it came to what exactly you could force through other forms-- most importantly clothes. With a smirk as he peered up towards the specified window, Benji almost laughed. He highly doubted the kid could do anything like that, and...well, it gave the bird a most pleasant mental image before he changed into a brightly colored parrot, mostly a lime green with yellow-tipped wings.

It didn't take long for the window to be slid open (after a few insistant minutes of tapping on the glass fervently with a sore beak).

Golden eyes widened slightly as he let the small, tropical bird inside. "Eh..." Scratching his head, Haro squinted at Benji, who was still very much in animal form, "Do I know you?" He asked, tilting his head to one side before jumping backwards as the bird changed. "You're- you're...a...bird. I-" Even if he could do a very similar thing, Haro didn't think he'd ever becomed used to an animal changing into something supposedly less feral.

Thankfully the boy had closed his door, and hopefully the cat would stay elsewhere for a while. Otherwise he'd have to revert to plan B... and he had promised himself not to touch the bird. "You..." Shuffling through his pockets, the young man pulled out a brightly colored card with a small graphic on it as well as a stream of bold words. "Won a fish," he explained with a smile, handing the coupon to the boy with a grin.

Haro blinked several times, trying to register everything. Man in his room. Man with...fish card. "You...came all the way-- You-- a free fish?" He exclaimed with a bright smile as the prospect of getting a FREE fish clicked in his mind.

"Hai, hai. A free fish. You and your friend left before I could give you one and-- and I've never...met someone like me before. So I wanted to...to take you out to get a fish," he explained with a wide grin. This was getting more ridiculous by the second. Running a hand through brightly color hair, different shades than the boy's in front of him, the young man took a small step forward. "So- what...what do you say? You want to come...get a fish...with me?"

Haro peered at the man with a skeptical expression, placing slender hands on his hips. "Is this some..back- back..." Frowning slightly as he searched for the right word, Haro continued with a frustrated tone, "Baccckk--"

"Eh, backwards?" Benji suggested with an amused sort of smile, orange eyes flickering from the boy to the floor every few moments.

"Backwards! Some...backwards way of...of..."
Getting you into be- No. "Asking you out for...dinner?"

Haro nodded several times with a rather heavy flush, folding the card between his hands to keep them busy. He had never been asked to go to dinner...especially by some man, who was a bird as well, that flew up to his room and gave him a card that awarded him a fish. A fish!

Benji winced lightly at the boy's expression. "Nm, well if you want it to mean something like that, it can."

[[The way to Haro's heart, fish cards and lots of cake and kisses.]]

Adrian looked at the slightly older boy. He cocked his head, a characteristic of his breed and waited for a responce. He got the book... he even got the dust off of it... was he missing something? Was he not being helpful?
As he pondered this he unknowingly cocked his hip causing his shirt to flutter to the side reveiling some of his tan hip bone.

((Having trouble?))

At that point, Dov looked as if he were about to pounce. However, whatever it was he was abotu to do was NEVER TO BE FOUND OUT because at that moment in time, a book came sailing down upon his head. The hand attatched to the book by means of pale fingers quickly withdrew, along with the tome, and was crossed across Bo's chest. "Oi. Dunce. Stop flirting and get the hell out of here. It's a book shop, not a club." One could almost feel the annoyance and loathing radiating off of the shorter, younger bright-haired brother.

Dov sighed and placed one hand on each corresponding hip, rolling his eyes as he did so. "Bo, you're still a child... so go away and play games while I talk with the... uhm, the nice man here," he said, fluttering his eyelashes in an innocent way that most deffinately did not make Bo any more agreeable.

((And there you have it.))

Adrian blinked a few times... confused. Why was the younger so angry? Way was the plant eater batting his eye-lashes? Wasn't that a girl habit? His cobalt eyes turned to the younger boy when he noticed the book.
"Are you finding everything alright?" He asked try to be helpful since he was so confused emotions and antics raging from the pair before him.
