Btw I know you're gonna kill me for saying this but I'll say it anyway:
I saw Bayonetta today at my friend's house for the first time (not the demo I mean) and honestly... meh. It's DMC4 with a masculine female protagonist rather than a feminine male protagonist. I was almost expecting Trish to ride a bike through the front door of the black guy's bar. Mechanically they did basically the same thing: hack and slash with numerous combos, gunplay mixed melee weapons, purchasable additional combos and weapon upgrades, ect. I'm sure it's unique but it didn't really get me excited.

I think Bayonetta reminded me of Dirge of Cerberus (Gameplay wise) The graphics are strangely similar too.

Well i never really liked ANY of the Devil may cry rips offs, after the first one it went downhill; they changed the sad story line that gave the game its meaning and started to seem that the creators just threw darts to pick story line >.<

It has been years since I have played a game that I truly enjoyed... what ever happened to the old school games that were all storyline? Since graphics have reared their ugly head storyline has taken the back burner, and it makes me mad. I can remember my favorite game of all time, Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure, and no not the s**t that was re-released back in 2001, i mean the original for Sega. I hate to say it but I have lost faith in the gaming industry, in my opinion they just need to remaster the old games from the N64 and release them. I would pay for a beefed up LoZ: OoT.

I watched all the trailers for Bayonetta. There's no way I'd ever play it, but I love how ridiculously over-the-top it seems.

Least she's not like the DOA girls and with their bikinis and their soft-featured faces. s**t like that gets tiring for me. I'd rather play a girl with ******** glasses and monsters coming out of her hair then play a bunch of wannabe kunoichis and their merchandising.
The fact is, what really lured me in was the character herself; hard to find female characters with glasses and a guns nowadays.
Minus Vivian from Tokyo Akazukin and Rip Van Winkle from Hellsing.
... Karin doesn't count. I hate her guts.
