Good enough detail. Just remember not to try to "Chain" your actions. Especially time related stuff like that. Most people will just end up responding to your first action, or set of actions, in such a way that the rest are pretty much invalid.
And example would be say, charging someone, then describing the 15 hit combo you unleash. Because chances are they'll respond to the first strike, or maybe block the first four, then counter the fifth... Then not only have you wasted time typing up the rest, you Tipped your Hand and showed the other player some of your tactics.
As is, I've taken a shot at you now that demands you react to it. Which means you probably won't have the Concentration to carry out the rest of your attack. After all, you're busy trying NOT to have a hole burned in your chest.

very true. a mage casting the spell for the end of the world needs time to chant the insanely long spell.

I'm a nice Guy... so I'll point this out to you...
Goldbrease. In Armor. Armor means = Sink like a Rock. Even the best Marines have a hell of a time swimming in full gear. Much less while trying to rescue someone. They can, but it is tough. That's actually one of their training exercises, a Helicopter crash into water, full gear, saving their fellows. Painic of drowning usually means you have to Fight against the people you are trying to save. (I know that one from Lifeguard training). Fighting against a Trained Soldier makes it even tougher.
Now... top if all off with his "Natural Affinity", there is more than a good chance that the moment you pick him up, your Levitation is going to FAIL hard...
At that point, you're screwed. You're going to drown.
Now Daniel... there's nothing to say he's going to drown. He hit the water fairly well. He's not encumbered by at least 70 lbs of gear (Modern soldiers carry between 70-90 lbs of gear as their Standard Kit). He was Sinking because his lungs have no air. Nothing to say he can't kick to the surface.
So, odd are (About a 90% chance or better) that your current actions are going to make you sink like a stone, probably get some broken limbs for your trouble, at least, and most likely drown. Maybe if Daniel fights away then you can levitate back out of there, by likely by that time you'd be quite a bit underwater, wit hte air knocked out of you, battered and bruised... and they'd both die because they'd be too far underwater to reach the surface.
That's the long and short of it.
Oh, not to mention even if you Succeed in pulling him out, he'd rise with his pistol pressed right against your body, unloading a lot of hurt into you. Enough to turn your entire chest cavity to ash. Because Body Armor doesn't protect against Point Blank shots like that.
And then you're Dead body would fall beneath the water, he'd be free, and he'd probably swim back to his boat.
Those are the two most likely scenarios your post will lead to.

It's not "Twisted" really. He has no doubt he can save himself in that situation. He doens't need anyone's help. What he can figure though is that someone is probably trying to capture him. Perhaps extort some Ransom (No one would pay most likely though), or interrogate him.
So his options are... Hmm, get captured and saved... then locked in a dungeon. Or kill my would be captor and still be safe.
One option is clearly better than the other. wink
