What you know about the clan/bl: These users tend to be secretive. When in smoke form they are unharmed by simple physical attacks, like Taijutsu or any weapons. If a shinobi were to take in any of the smoke while the user is in the smoke form, it’s toxic and will harm them. Smoke shifters are weak against water and wind based jutsu’s, as well as very dangerous when used around fire type jutsu, could cause an explosion. Three posts are the limit in smoke form, as well as the ability to use the smoke form up to four times in a fight. Ability to become a black color while in the smoke form and this allows the user to keep their identity out in the open for the ones around to see.
Rp Sample:
"Hey you, stop there!" a voice shouted out. The figure walked on, a hood pulled low over his eyes. It was hard to tell anything about the figure other than it was obviously male. The face was obscured, and the huge trench coat the figure wore obscured the body. One of the guards that yelled at the figure raised his katana. "I said stop!" he shouted. The figure kept walking. Pissed, the guard stepped forward and slashed through the figure. It exploded into a cloud of smoke, The smoke was cloying, and the guard tried to block it out, but he breathed in too much. He coughed and hacked, falling back. The other guard walked over to help and he too breathed in the smoke. Within minutes the two lay dead.

The same figure stepped out from behind a tree, a mischievous smile on his face. A clever one-liner rested upon his lips, but he decided against it. It wasn't the time, nor the place, for such silliness. No, he had a job. And he always had the chance to spout off one after killing his target.
He put his hands together in the form of a few handseals. He mumbled the words to his technique, and disappeared into a puff of smoke. He'd been here many times before, so he knew how to get in. He could use this technique because he knew this hallway intimately. He appeared on the other side in a puff of smoke. The two inner guards turned in surprise but before they could attack the figure that formed in front of them, blades stabbed their neck, a pair of kunai in the figure's hands. He slid them into his belt and kept walking.

The next group, he didn't quite expect. A pair of guards rushed out from a side passage. That was new. The figure barely had time to react, but did pull off a jutsu in time. A cloud of poisonous smoke spread from his body, engulfing the three men. The two guards were distracted, and tried to escape the deadly smoke but ultimately failed, collapsing to the ground as the figure walked away, leaning on a wall for a moment, trying to wonder if there were more unexpected traps...or if the room was still in the same spot.

The figure moved on. In his typical flamboyant style, he had a special way he wanted to defeat the single guard he saw ahead. He did a few hand seals, a dragon made of smoke appearing behind him. The dragon charged at the guard while the figure made noise to attract the guard's attention. The guard was so focused on the dragon that he never saw the throwing knife that arced through the air and embedded itself into the guard's forehead. The smoke dragon disappeared, and the figure went to retrieve his knife, cleaning it on the man's shirt. He turned the next corner, going over the floor plan in his mind.

As he walked, another unexpected addition caught him by surprise. The floor shifted and suddenly gave way. "Son of a-" his curse was cut short by him falling fast toward some spikes below. He whipped out a pair of thick knives and stabbed them into the wall, slowing to a stop just before the spikes. He lowered himself gingerly between the spikes, did a few handseals, and retrieved his knives from the wall as his legs turned to smoke. He concentrated some chakara to his "legs" and used it to drift casually up the side and over the lip, turning his legs back to normal so he could continue his rampage.

This was the last hallway, he knew that for sure. He walked forward to the two final guards that had their backs to him. He made sure he was quiet. Just behind the last guard he did his handseals and mumbled the technique's name, his arms becoming wisps of smoke that he wrapped around the guard's mouth to choke him to death. The second one turned just as the figure's arms returned to normal, and he took a knife to the chest, dropping him quite quickly. He retrieved his knife and stopped to take a chakara pill, just in case. He turned the corner, and started to walk down the final hallway to his target.

As the figure walked, he shed his trench coat, wisps of smoke curling off his body as he walked down the hallway. He took a right turn, then a left, standing in front of a huge guard, a massive sword in his hands. "You..." the guard said. "Me." the figure said with a mischievous grin. The sword swung down and sliced through the figure. The figure laughed. "Such violence." the figure said. He formed back to normal and his kunai came out quickly, impaling the guard through the chest. The second one came quickly and speared the guard through the throat.

The figure threw open the doors, watching with delight as his target jumped up in fear from his desk. "Hey! You miss me?" the figure asked. The man took out a knife and threw it at the figure, who dodged it. "Not nice." the figure tutted. He ran forward as the man tried to draw a second knife. The figure vaulted over the desk and the man raised his knife, expecting the figure to land in front of him. Instead the figure landed behind him, picking up a vase from a pedestal. "My employer wants this." he commented. "Who's your employer?" the man asked, having wheeled around to face the figure. The figure suddenly threw the vase at the man, the ceramic shattering in his face. The figure grabbed his fallen knife and stabbed the man through the chest six times. "I am. And I'm over that vase." he said as he left. He hesitated at the door. <********, forgot my clever one liner."

((So im not sure if there is a head of the bloodline for Mokuton, the list looks empty to me, but there may be some mistake. Either way i am applying for head of bloodline if it is taken then i will be happy with just regular member of bloodline.))

What you know about the clan/bl: In the anime and manga mokuton is an extremely rare bloodline that the first hokage had. It was powerfully destructive and creative. It was even said that the hokage could make an entire forest appear in non wooded areas.The style was reason in Tenzo or Yamato who uses earth/ water mixed to create wood.

Walking along a beach with white sandy shores Lana looks to the dsitance with a smile. Her home of Iwa has been rather quiet lately and because of this she has become very comfortable. Kicking up a burst of sand Lana stops for a second to look out into the distance. Unknown to her is that two ninja--rogues of Iwa--hide among the rock walls in the distance. They have known Lana for much time and have seen her powers and how useful they could be. The two ninja together rank about a jounin level together and are masters of mixing elements. Get those two apart and they are mere chuunin levels. Sighing Lana plops down on her butt and supports her arms out behind her. Taking a relaxing moment She stops to close her eyes for a second.

The two rogues hidden in the rocks make their move keeping ever silent. Keeping to the rocks they know where their advantage is and will use it to try to take Lana down. Forming and then throwing a bunch of stone shuriken towards Lana, they whizz through the air which catches her attention just in time. Opening a single eye she sees a barrage of shuriken heading towards her. "Crap." She forms a single handseal and the shuriken all smash into her. Her body exploding in smoke and turning into a log. The two ninja wonder where the hell that wood came from. From under the sand a tree rises quickly twisting and knotting on itself, Standing upon an adjacent branch Lana tracks the ninja using the direction the shuriken were tossed from. Giant boulders begin raining down upon Lana as the earth trembles and shakes. "Seems you are Iwa ninja." She says before quickly jumping from boulder to boulder weaving signs inbetween her jumping She lands on a boulder upside down and smashes her hand into it. Wood pillars form and catch the rock before it falls completely Sinking slowly into sand Lana runs to the other side of the rock and makes a handsign. The wood bursts through the rocks and she crouches atop one of the pillars her hand down forming a wooden weapon from below her.

The two rogue ninja start to panic at this moment. Their position has been found out and Lana is quickly ascending towards them. They weave a string of handsigns and end by clasping their hands together. A rush of mud falls down upon Lana. She shakes her head with a smile. So they are using Earth and water mixed huh? She thinks to herself. This will tire her, but be worth it. Forcing another set of handsigns an earthen dome surrounds her making the mud splash off all around. Still rising above the mud. The two rogue ninja harden the mud around Lana trying to capture her. The two ninja move through the earth and reach the wooden dome of Lana's. Laughing they know full heartidly that they have caught her.

"Don't celebrate too soon you two." Lana pokes them both on the shoulder. She is able to use earth just as well as she can use wood element and the major flaw of these two ninja is that they forgot that simple fact. They forgot to never let someone inbetween them else their combination jutsu are worthless. They both spring away in opposite directions getting out of the now earth pillar reaching to the top of the cave. They stand upside down very far away from each other. Perfect, Lana smiles and finally decides to wear herself out like planned. Slamming her fist into the ground a bunch of roots and trees form out of the ground twisting and turning a whole forest appears upside down on the cave and becomes quite a hassle for the rogues to dodge. One of the rogue ninja gets his whole body caught among a tree that grows around him the other barely avoids being stabbed to death by a branch and is now wounded beyond belief. "How could this have happened to us? When did she learn to do this?"

Appearing right side up slowly forming out of a wooden branch behind the injured rogue ninja Lana is breathing heavily and almost out of chakra. "Through hardwork and keeping close ties to those i love. To this village was i able to get this strong." She smiles and pulls her scalpel out (medical ninja) Lunging forwards she slices the man underneath his armpit hitting a major artirery he will bleed dry in five minutes, that is if she didn't as well stab him badly in the shoulder. The rogue is already dead. Walking to the other rogue that is encased in wood she has a tough time even walking there as she has to jump from branch to branch. Finally reaching the man after much time she shakes her head. Seeing his bloody iwa headband. "I knew it was you two." she says softly."Why would you do this?"

"You would never understand anyways." The rogue laughs trying to struggle free. "You will never know the pain of living that we have endured." The ninja works himself into a fury and gets nowhere because of it.

"Well I guess I will never understand you, since your anger has consumed you." Lana sighs as she looks down to see a fellow Iwa ninja running up the column of earth to help back her up. The other Iwa ninja is none other than the leader of Anbu.

"Nice catch there Lana.." He says while landing on the same branch as her. His face covered to keep secrecy he looks to Lana. "Will you be alright? It looks like you've used up your chakra." Lana breathing heavily is unable to answer. He just looks back to the rogue ninja captured in wood. "I will keep an eye on him. you get back to the village safely ok?" Lana nods her head and makes her way down to the sandy beach slowly. Plopping down on the soft sand she looks up at the change of scenery. Seeing more Anbu hop up to the leaders position on order to safely move the rogue and get more information out of him.

@Eris: Just so you know, you cannot take the clan head position until you reach Chuunin. Until then, you would just be a member of the clan.

@Origami: There are many grammatical and spelling errors, making it hard to read. Please fix those.

Support ninja is not a Hatake requirement or bonus, so I'm not sure why it is there.

Please, dont use the substitution jutsu. Its for Noobs.

Shiro Chakra Kouyou is not a jutsu, but a jutsu amplifier. It adds range and cutting power to a weapon strike or weapon based jutsu, it does not require handseals or a spoken word.

You never made mention to the speed of a Hatake in the sample.

The story itself isnt very clear.

What you know about the clan/bl: By combining earth and lightning elements together the user can create dense crystals to use. The color of the crystal depends on the user's chakra color.

Ketsue ducked his head as he heard a shuriken whiz past his ear. He spun around to face his new attacker. In front of him stood yet another mercenary after the bounty on his head. "Not another one, why can't you leave me in peace?" His question went unanswered as his attacker threw three kunai knives towards him and began to sprint around him. Ketsue followed the man with his eyes as he formed three crystal shuriken from the air and threw them towards the oncoming kunai knives. After Ketsue heard the sound of three seperate clangs of metal hitting crystal, he formed the proper hand signs for his crystal prison jutsu. Three identical crystal spikes sprang up from the ground around the mercenary, trapping him quite effectively. Ketsue leaped in to the air and began furiously making hand signs. After he finished he was directly over his attacker, who was looking up at him with a mortified look on his face. For good reason, Ketsue was now glowing a radiant blue color as an aura surrounded his entire body. Ketsue folded his arms across his chest and opened them, raining down a barrage of hundreds of crystal shuriken on his helpless opponent.

Landing on the other side of the crystal formation he created around the mercenary, Ketsue stood up and surveyed his handiwork. A satisfied look adorned his face as he confirmed that his attacker was dead. Another one dead, many more to come. As the light around Ketsue faded he visualized his camp in his mind. He had picked the spot the night before because it was only half a mile away from the town. He performed a single handsign and disappeared from the spot, leaving many tiny crystals in his place. They shone a deep blue as they reflected the light of the sun. Eventually the sparkles faded as the pieces fell to the ground.
