Secret: I kind of wonder on the impossible... like "what creates a personality? A certain combination of life experiences?".
I wonder if my lifestyle and self-esteem could be different if my past was altered a bit... when my mom would spend time w/ my dad instead of use it just for her best friend... makes me feel terrible for my dad on hwat he has to go through:
- wife left him and her kids for best friend of 30 years
- kids getting closer to college (choosing community so I can stay more w/ dad)
- smoking in the past = lower lifespan
My parents aren't divorce, so that means if my dad dies, our mom gets all the life insurance and pension... which is messed up!

I wonder things like that. Some people say it's a collection of memories, but I don't think so. You would have to react to those memories first, and you couldn't do that with out a personality.

Keito All people are are the composite of their memories We are defined by our experiences, so of course if your past was different you would be different We just have to make do with what we have, and try to become as good as we can be ^_^

My personal belief, is that our personality is caused by our memories. Even made a character around that idea. She has no true recollection of her life before she became fourteen. So she implanted numerous false memories composing that time for her, and depending on the past she believes at a certain time, her behavior changes.

keito melfina I hate feeling totally useless biggrin My friend Shannon was crying at lunch today, because her friend Jessie (well she started acting "friends" w/ me this year... or she could just be lying on her attitude) wanted Shannon to move to her table. Shannon said "No, you know how I feel about that, I don't want to move to the table because of all the problems caused the past 2 years" (issues w/ some people). Jessie: "Yeah, well guess what hun? Doesn't matter on what problems you have, they're just small and easy to ignore, get over yourself". And that's what happened! She kept crying the past 23 minutes over the situation, I tried to comfort her w/ words like "Shannon, it's ok, doesn't matter how big or small a problem is, it's just that, a problem that needs solving". Shannon: "I know it's a problem that has an answer over and over, and I have to go through this depressing cycle and I HATE IT here in school and I'm sick of this crap where all my friends don't give a s**t on any problem I have, I wanna go home now! I've identified, I want my Jessie back!!!!!!!!" I don't know what to say to her, I completely lack human intelligence and understanding. The only thing I can do is just say nice things and be comforting, but Shannon says all of that is wierd. I can't stand letting her go through this, and I'm not doing a freakin' thing to help at all... woah, woah, woah. just because she was still crying while you were comforting her doesn't mean that it didn't help. i am a huge crybaby and i know from experience that it helps to have someone there to comfort me even if they don't know the right thing to say. you should be proud of yourself for being a good friend and sticking by her while she was crying. that's what being a friend is about: you might not know exactly what to say, but you'll stay there anyways and try to be as comforting as possible. you sound like an amazing friend.

@Divine: Yeah, well, they're not quite voices in the sense that I hear them. They're more like people in my head that sort of represent those sides of me. 3nodding And they can't be accurately tektekked, but I can get a lot closer than I could if I tried to draw them (despite the fact that I see them in my head as drawings). Curse my lack of mind-to-hand connection. crying
@Fortune: Heh, people can barely take me to regular places. xp

Oh @____@
My prince wants to take me to the Jules Verne restaurant in Paris, but I know it would be a waste because I wouldn't be able to find anything I actually like =/

Though always in my red jacket, even when I'm not. Mind to hand connection. I wish I had it. So many things I'd be able to draw....
