Misty held her head high as she walked through the hallway and back towards the living room portion of the home. That's where everyone tended to gather. Soon enough, she found Warp trying to make his way through the hall and out of the living room. He stopped when he seen her and gave her a nervous look. She stopped as she got to the enterance to the living room and looked past him. She found her sisters, and two women she hadn't seen before.
Neither looked very happy.

Lucas sighed, and laid back. "No clubs around in Springdale. It was always really quiet. No real crime to speak of, y'know?"
Sandra and Carol looked to each other; both could sense that Misty was the woman Warp had been talking about.
"Hello," Sandra said. "I am Sandra Roberts, a sorceress. It has come to my attention that you, dear, are pregnant and are... having your male companion here," she gestured to Warp, "continually de-age your unborn children. We understand the reasons why; you are, apparently, afraid of their father and what he would do to them."
"Yeah," Carol intoned, "but... seriously, do you have any idea of what you're doing to your own children? Continual de-aging has got to have adverse affects on their health, even-- no, especially as fetuses. And besides... Look, I'll just be straight with you: Not even the worst mothers would subject their unborn children to what you're doing. It's highly immoral and flies in the face of any sort of maternal instinct. And I mean-- hey, you think you're scared of motherhood? My daughter, who I just met today, is from the future! She's telling me about things I haven't even done yet! That is scary!"
"All we're asking," Sandra said, "is that you stop this. Have your children before you cause them any sort of permanent damage because of what you're doing. Hide them somewhere safe until you feel you are ready to raise them. Anything, really, would be better than continually denying them the chance to live their lives just because you fear their father."

Alex smirked. "I don't know weather to envy you or feel sorry for you. Sounds like the kind of place where there's absolutely nothing to do." She said, then grew quiet for a moment. "At the same time...I bet it's a lot better place to live than what I had."
Misty paused and quietly looked to both women after they had spoken. She had been prepared for the women to just...rip into her. That's what happened the last time her moral was put on a steak. She was honestly rather grateful that they were talking to her in such a calm manor.
"I..." she began quietly, trying to find the right words to say. "....I will admit that was never a thought that crossed my mind. Warp is so good with his powers...I thought they would be alright. It's the best way I thought I could keep them safe. If I were to be...later in the stages...I know of a few people who would jump at the chance to hurt both me and them. As for their father..." she said, then paused a moment. "...I'm under the impression that he'll eat them. And he made it quite clear what would happen if I tried to hide them."

Sandra's eyes widened. "Where is he now? I'll kill the b*****d!" she said, and Carol raised an eyebrow at her before looking to Misty.
"Actually, I figure it'd be best for us all if we find a place where you can be to have your children with no chance of this man, or anyone else, knowing where you are." Carol replied.
"I can help!" came a new voice, and Sandra and Carol turned to see Carlie and Billy walking into the room. "Daddy and I went to Odym not long ago. Then we went to Keystone City and found Billy here," Carlie said, gesturing to her new friend. "Odym is the home of the Blue Lantern Corps, and not many people know it exists. She'd be safe there, especially since Ganthet lives there. He's one of the most powerful beings in the universe that I, Billy, and my parents come from."
Lucas shrugged a bit. "There really wasn't a whole lot to do. Not that I really minded."

Misty's eyes widened a bit as she looked to Sandra, then looked back over to Carol. Her stance began to relax much more as she began to realize that she'd been prepared for was needless. The "angry mothers" were neither ripping into her or going on about what a horrible person she was. And they were trying to help her. Compared to what a lot of her teammates had said and done to her when she worked for Blackstone, she could HUG these two right now.
Her attention turned towards CJ as she spoke. She, of course, was assuming that Odym was on Earth somewhere. Farthest she'd ever been to is the JLA satellite. "If....if it's really that safe, then I have no objection to keeping them there." she replied, then paused and glanced back at the Phantom Stranger. "But...I do have some people I need to try and find as soon as possible."
Alex smiled a bit and turned over onto her side to look at Lucas. "So...probably one of the only things there was to do....you didn't do?"

Lucas cocked an eyebrow. "Huh?" he said, seeming clueless.

"Well....stereotypically...if there's not a whole lot to do in a small town, people just do it for fun." Alex replied.

Lucas caught on. "Wait... you're... you're kidding, right? I thought you didn't want to do anything like that..." he said hesitantly.

Alex arched a brow at him. "Now was I implying that? I was just asking. That was one of the only things around my area to do besides roaming the streets. Can't imagine what else you would do without buildings of entertainment." she replied.
Then she paused for a moment...then shifted and rolled back over onto her back, looking away from him. "But.....as far as that goes....I didn't. Things tend to get really messed up if you just do it the first night you meet someone. But....I was thinking about it....and I still feel really crappy about ditching you like that. Honestly...I don't think I had anything to worry about. You are a good guy. And...." she said, then blushed and looked away. "I probably really missed out on a good chance. With all the hormones and pheromones, and how hyped up I still was......that would have been ideal settings."

Lucas frowned, and gently placed a hand on Alex's shoulder, tugging her around to look at him. "Hey... It's okay. I'll admit though, it did feel bad, but not because of anything I may have wanted to do. You're a good girl, Alex, and I don't have many friends outside of Springdale, so... I counted you as one since we saved each other's lives yesterday." he said.

Alex looked at him and frowned, then glanced down at the cover under them. "I'm sorry....I really, really didn't mean to make you feel bad." she said quietly.

Lucas smiled. "Hey... Like I said, don't worry..." he said, and without really realizing just what he was doing, he placed a hand on her cheek and pressed his lips to hers.

Alex hesitated, then the tension just seemed to melt away from her body and she leaned in towards him. Wrapping one of her arms under his and resting her hand on his shoulder.

Lucas, too, seemed a little hesitant, and he briefly moved away slightly so he could speak.
"This is... my... first... kiss..." he said between kisses, before he wrapped his arms around her, his kisses gradually becoming more passionate.

For whatever reason, Alex grinned after that comment. She fully leaned into his body and wrapped her arms around him. "Do....do you want to...?" she asked quietly, also between kisses.
