"The old ways, and their magic are best thought of as a living being. You have to 'convince' it that you are under a curse and that is why you suffer an abnormal affliction. A blessing, one of enormous strength that could well knock you unconcious, would correct it. It's been done before. The elve, albino and man can testify to this."
