Tokeru knelt to examine Lezard, and found that his armor had stopped the bullets.
He then walked to Edith, and examined her burns. "Lets get you to the infirmary, ASAP. You'll be fine, just make sure you dont hit your shoulder against anything. Cmon now,"
He lightly kissed her on the lips, and helped her stand up.
"Well then, now that she is gone, get up Lezard and lets go down to the actual base. We need to insert all of you inside the security system, then you can settle inside your own rooms, and take part of all the accomodations we have.
Let us go."
Tokeru walked over to the bookcase, and pulled the third book from the top. The bookcase slid aside, and they walked down into a small room, about the size of a prison cell.
Hurrying the scans and tests, he passed em all and the back of the wall slid aside to reveal an elevator.
"Everyone aboard."

Scarlett walked up to the house quickly and knocked on the door.
Uh, what else am I supposed to do?

Aria returned and hid herself in the shadows letting the dark wrap itself around her, hugging her every curve. She could feel her masters impaticence with her. She closed her eyes and began to sort through her jumble of thoughts. As she filtered through on over another her master grew more and more impatient until she settled on one momentarily. One of her most feared emotions. Love her master gasped and burned the brandings on her cheek. The pain was excrutiating.
"NO ARIA! YOU DO NOT FALL IN LOVE! YOU ARE MINE REMEMBER?! I'M YOUR MASTER YOU DO AS I SAY!!" He was frantic. She gasped and fell to the floor all of her brandings were burning now and she couldn't help but gasp and shudder aloud. It was all she could do not to cry out.
Master! Master! I told you I gave up on love! I don't love! I believed you when you said Vampires love no one but their masters! It's common for women to think they are in love! I do not love! she pleaded. He stopped and seemed to be upset with himself as he made them ice cold that healed the burns.
"Very good. Besides, my dear Aria, no one could love you more than I do." he felt in control again and that was good enough for him.
She then crawled and sat underneath a nearby tree and let the darkness swallow her again.

(( Honestly, I don't think there's need for a posting order. Just as long as people don't post like fifty pages ahead so I have to read fifty pages of non-sensical posts. Just my thoughts, this is Hokaru's place, his rules. ^^ ))
"Nah," she said, rubbing her shoulder, causing the flesh to crumble away and about leave almost none of her shoulder in tact, ".... okay, nevermind. Maybe I should not bump it up against anything ... s**t, that hurt ...." She completely avoided mentioning the infirmary, purposely, of course as she did not particularly feel like going there at all. Yeah she was injured but she would live. There were probably other Stalkers that needed to be tended to more than her.
Edith didn't really return the kiss, in fact, she actually pulled away from it as though something was wrong about it. She left a vague explanation as to why she was leaving, hardly an explanation at all, more excusing her sudden absence than anything. "Sorry guys, but I'll have to catch up with you later. I know I should stay around to keep you all in line but I've got things to do." She walked away, back facing them, and shot her hand and arm up in the air to wave at them.
After that, she disappeared into the elevator, surpassing Tokeru to get inside, offering him no smile or gesture to let him know she knew he was there. She really needed something to keep her mind off of everything that was happening and everything that was happening to her. Like why she was so thirsty all of a sudden and why her vampire had started talking to her instead of others like it usually did. All in all, Edith was freaked out. Yeah, she'd seen people possessed or controlled before, Lydia being one of them, but that hadn't given her an idea of what it was actually like ... She wasn't the most prepared for it.

She sighed and then whispered in her mind. Master who came to visit you? she asked. He seemed to be hesitating.
"Y-Your mother..." he muttered.
Mother... she clicked her tongue and then looked down.
"She wanted to know how you were. I told her well...she cursed and told me to kick you out as well." Aria scoffed. How like mother.
And you said 'No'? she asked.
"Yes...I hate to admit it but that woman scares the crap out of me. She has more money than any woman I know, and she knows how to use it." Aria knew differently. Aria knew that her master was in love with her mother.
How kind of you master. she forced out.

Kim was waiting for the others to calm down, after all having a shouting match in an elevator generated enough emotions that she felt like she was drowning. When they reached the base 1st level and everyone got off Kim felt better but it only fueled the hunger inside her, but she was still under
control.
She then waited for Tokeru to take the group to the War room and discuss
what was going on. She did a surface scan of everyone in the group
without being noticed. Kim's surface scan showed that everyone was clueless except maybe Edith and Kim would have to go deeper to find out.

Edith was acutely aware of Bridget's hunger, which was not helping her stave off her own. She was struggling not to grab one of the three humans in the elevator with her and go savage on them. Her will was strong and she fought back the vampire, however, she needed to get away from people. And since people were going to the war room, she was not. Edith exited on the third floor, once again offering her apologies and no explanation for her actions.
She continued on down the third floor hallway until she came to the room where the pool was. She'd always loved water, it somehow seemed to be one of the rare few things that could soothe her. Thank God they had a pool. The vampiress continued into the pool room, noting that there was no one there except her. However, she'd forgotten to get her swim wear.
"Great," she mumbled below her breath, "this is fantastic ... Now I-" Suddenly her swim wear appeared before her. She was absolutely baffled. If she had done that herself, she would have gotten a headache so it must have been someone else ...

"Z-Zachariah ...?" She thought the man had purged himself from her life, that he had been too cowardly to face her after being the one to turn her into what she was. Edith was pissed, how could this be a gift? Killing others in order to sustain herself? No, it was wrong. Her entire existence was wrong. And no matter how many evil Tainted, Lycans, or Vampires she killed, nothing would excuse why she remained alive. She was just as evil as any vampire out there. Just as cold and heartless. But as she was about to answer, Zachariah semmered their connection. "********>

Kim was still waiting for Tokeru to get the crowd under his control and find out what was going on.... if it kept up much longer she was thinking of reading Tokeru's mind. And there was the matter of getting something to eat before her hunger over took her and then it could become somewhat messy.
Kim started to recite a 'Mantra' which would help her focus and take her mind off her hunger. "So Tokeru let's go to the war room and you can tell
us what is going on and what part the Stalkers are going to play."

Tokeru said nothing and as Edith ran out of the elevator, he hastily told Bridget.
"We, are going to do nothing yet. We will wait and defend the Chapterhouse. We must find our place in the battle to be the most effective in. Everyone go to the security office, and tell the people there to put you in the system, then meet me in the war room after."
He ran off full speed after Edith, catching up to her just after she reached the pool, after she said ******** the matter?"

She looked as Tokeru left with Edith, Kim sent Tokeru a telepathic message. "I go by the name of Kim Kyong Cha now....Bridget died in that research lab." Kim used her memory of the lay out of the base to go to the security section and get herself placed in the systems data base. From there she headed straight towards the War
Room.
