The dragon soared across the sky, and made its way above the lands of Otogakure that were as beautiful as ever. A large festival and parade was being held for the return of the Otokage, crowds of people lined each side of the run way where Doragon was to land, and Rikkou could spot them as they lowered slowly.

"This is my village, my people, feel welcome here." Nova said as they began to touch phase the ground, which was in this case, a large path of sparkling marble with the daytime. Doragon skid his large taloned claws against the earth as it made it's way to a large circle of insignia that was encrusted within the ground.

Upon it, a dragon's seal stood, and surrounding it were three pillars of the three elements of the world, Air, symbolized by a wyvern, Earth, symbolized by a skull dragon, and Water, symbolized by an aquatic dragon with no arms, or legs, but a long powerful, whip-like tail.

As they landed, people came up, and carried them off, and began to groom Doragon in a cherished manner. They brought various fruits, and began to feed the two as they were carried to the village palace that Nova had constructed since his reign here.

Rikkou hoped off the dragon as the bright light from the sun gleamed directly in his eyes.It was soon to be nightfall as he looked at nova"So this is th sound village i have never been here before"Rikkou said as he looked around he listened to nova and continued on as the people carried them to the village palace"Man this must be the life"Rikkou said under his breath as he looked around some more it was so amzaing here he heard stories of how orochimaru used to own this village here

"If I jump on your thoughts, don't be alarmed, but I can read you like a book." Nova said with a smile with was stuffed with a purple grape shortly after. He chewed nimble and stared at the soft sky with the juices dripping into his throat happily.

The people let them off on large hammock like carriers, which were held by four ninja at each of the corners. They would be their acquaintance throughout their maneuvering in the village, as the rest of the crowd set up the festival that would be happening later.

"Yes it is quite the life, and Oroichimaru did once rule here, but thanks to that man, he was able to be defeated." He gestured towards a portrait of Drago that was on a wall which seemed to have everyone of importance imprinted upon it.

"I was one of the ninja in that grand battle, I had offered to help the Sound cause, but was attacked, and decided that the side of good was better off. There I fought off Jiroubou, and Kimmimaro Kaguya, both Jounin, while I was only Genin. It was a difficult match, but I did manage to pull it off, though I had to retreat during the match with the Kaguya." Nova rambled on, and then paused to see what the Uchiha might say about the matter, and Nova noticed several dispelled seals upon the ninja's skin.

Rikkou Heard as Nova was a genin fighting jonin level ninja"wow that must have been a tough battle"Rikkou replied as he seen the potrait of drago on the wall and the people let him down one day he would be hokage of his village. But that would be in the future when he was stronger and less reckless.Rikkou had never killed before so he wouldnt know anything about killing and little about fighting. As he thought about retreating and how it could be usefull sometimes

"It was a tough battle, I was exhausted, I hadn't completely had an entire grasp on my self developed jutsu, or power." Nova looked to the ninja, whom was quite young just like himself, seeing potential in him as well as a vague familiarity.

"I feel like I already know you. I feel like that with a lot of people around here, friends dying all the time, but they seem to come back in a sense. Heaven and hell seem like vacation visits now-a-days. I've visited once, but it was not really a death. But more of a deep slumber to visit the afterlife, under a special poison."

He thought about all the times he had in the afterlife, learning the jutsu from the kages passed, and perfecting his inner demon. The boy knew so little about the man he had followed into the Sound Village, but Nova knew a very limited amount as well. The Uchiha's mind was very dark, and hidden, but innocent in the sense of never murdering. Nova just watched as the child stood there.

"I've been trying to perfect the last of my clan's techniques, a very hidden one that not many have heard of. What do you know about your own clan, the Uchiha of the Leaf. I can tell there is sorrow behind those eyes." Nova still had never looked him in the face, but his perception was infinite with the bounds of the psychic realm.

"I'll try and show you if I can."

Rikkou looked at nova as the Light from the sun begin to fade as the only light was from the moon."I am a avenger of my clan now...I know of one more Uchiha i haven't met yet.I look forward to seeing him soon."Rikkou said with a pause."I would like for you to show if that is possible."Rikkou replied. As he wondered what Bloodline the Yakushi could have in his kind.Though they are near sighted he heard that they were pretty Strong and smart.

"Well, I'm not sure exactly how this one works, for it's not one of the normal ones that a Yakushi has ever learned. It's more of a side technique that Kabuto has developed." He paused sighting the ninja's confusion on the person, "Kabuto is a fellow Yakushi, once a member of the Akatsuki, and then later a warrior of Oroichimaru. Now he is a very mysterious ninja, that works in secret with his medical maneuvers." The silver stone door at the right entrance of the palace opened to reveal two ninja wearing sound headbands across their arms carrying a large gold platter. Upon it were several delectables from various villages, including Leaf, and Sand. Also, there was a small parchment of paper, which Nova took into his hands and looked over briefly, his glasses scanning over the words.

He turned to the left ninja, and then nodded to him, and handed back the parchment. "We'll take care of that later, we have a guest." Nova first used a simple Bunshin technique to create a genjutsu copy of himself. Feeling his chakra being drained slightly, he began to gleam with a translucent, bright shade. Though only he could feel it, but his chakra was replenishing rapidly. Healing No Jutsu.

"Hmm, I think that'll help out sometime, with my other clan medical technique. Is there any technique that you have of interest in learning here, not even I have them all, but we can always go find the proper mentors."

Akuma would soon find him self in the land of Oto. He wandered the streets of sound aimlessly, he had no idea which teacher he should be training with right now, but that didn’t stop him from looking for one. Eventually he happened to come upon the training grounds of the sound jounin Jirobou. He was currently practicing his taijutsu in the fist of nirvana style and Akuma was amazed with the damage he could cause with just one strike. He approached carefully remembering what had happened last time he had approached Lee-sensei while he was training. “Umm… Jirobou- sensei…? Do you think you have time to teach me to fight like you?” the sound jounin just continued to pummel the training dummy in front of him.

“Umm… Jirobou… sir?” the pounding continued. “I’m busy, come back later. I don’t have time to train a nobody like you.” “But, but couldn’t you just take a little break and teach me a few techniques?” the orange haired sound nin stopped in his training for a moment. “I told you to go away ok!” for a man so large he moved amazingly fast. Jirobou’s knee caught Akuma under the chin sending him flying. Akuma landed with a thump. “Wow… someones grumpy” he muttered. “ I suppose I’ll come back and show him I’m not a nobody so he’ll train me.” Akuma headed for the docks clearly unsatisfied with sound village’s hospitality.

Hedoro

Hedoro sat in the boat, waiting for it to arrive at her destination. Hidden Sound was famous, or rather infamous, for being the home to some of the more dangerous ninja of the past. As such, it was no surprise that many of the stronger techniques could be found here. There were quite a few she could learn to round out her abilities. In fact, she already had her eye on a few. All that remained was getting there, finding the masters of those techniques, and getting them to teach her.
(1 of 9.5)

But the trip was a long one, and she grew bored. She ran through mental images of different fighting situations, planning on how she could use both the techniques she knew, and the ones she hadn't learned yet, to their best effect. She hadn't used most of them in combat yet, but she'd been in enough fights that she could really predict how she'd want to use them, and what an opponent was likely to do if she did. she continued to go through these mock fights the entire trip, doing her best to prepare herself.
(2 of 9.5)

After all, if Sound was really as dangerous as what she'd read, she could be forced into a fight at any time. She didn't want to get in a fight this close to the exams, she'd rather save herself until they started, and unleash her full power without fears of an injury or something. So she'd have to play it cautious, do what she could to not make trouble while she stayed in Hidden Sound. Making enemies wouldn't help her situation at all. In fact, it'd make it much, much harder.
(3 of 9.5)

Finally, she had arrived. She got off the boat and looked around. It was an interesting village, she hadn't seen much like it before. But she didn't have time for sight-seeing, first she had to locate the ones who knew techniques she was after. And the first on her list? The red-headed wielder of the flute, Tayuya. From what she had read, flute techniques were stronger than most people gave them credit for, so she would give them a try. Hopefully they'd prove their worth.
(4 of 9.5)

And if not, then she had wasted her time. But she didn't think that'd be the case. Hidden Sound had powerful techniques, would any of their techniques really be that weak? It was unlikely. So she searched out Tayuya, and eventually found her practicing her flute in a secluded spot. She moved closer, but didn't know if she should disturb her practice. It was important not to start out on the wrong foot. If she did, she'd likely not be able to convince anyone to train her.
(5 of 9.5)

When Tayuya stopped playing her flute, Hedoro went up to her and said she played very well, and that she'd like to learn to play as well. Also, to learn some of her techniques, to go hand in hand with the flute. Of course, she didn't even have her own flute yet, she hadn't known where to get one. It seemed that she wasn't the only person with that problem, Tayuya had a small supply of training flutes, for the various young ninja who came to seek her techniques.
(6 of 9.5)

Hedoro accepted the flute gratefully, and the training began. It started simply, more a music lesson than anything. Hedoro was a quick study, she had a bit of a unique way of hearing, which gave her a good knack for measuring pitch and such. Within the hour, she was even able to play a little tune. Not perfect, nowhere near as good as Tayuya could, but perfectly acceptable for a novice. They kept practicing, and Hedoro's skill continued to grow.
(7 of 9.5)

As the practice went on, Tayuya explained more about how to infuse the sound waves the flute made with chakra to cast her first technique, the Illusion Harmony. It was a Genjutsu, and if the opponent heard it, they could be lulled into a barren wasteland, where they would believe they'd be tied down by chains. And that wasn't the worst part, either. They'd also believe they were melting, their skin and muscles sloughing off their bones, while they can't move, making them a sitting target for any attacks. A very powerful and fearsome attack, not for the faint of heart or squeamish. It was for those who sought power, and those who wished to be strong. This fit Hedoro, so she wanted to learn the technique. Also, she didn't have a Genjutsu yet, and this was a fine candidate for her first one.
(8.5 of 9.5)

She had to practice the melody several times, along with exact chakra manipulations, until she began to feel the exhaustion from constant chakra use get to her. But it was paying off, she had nearly mastered the technique. It did take a lot of chakra, though, so she couldn't practice it quite a smuch as she'd hoped. Instead, she went back to just practicing the melody instead. For now, that'd be enough, she could work on the chakra portion more later. With that done, they were ready to move on to the next technique Tayuya was willing to teach her.

Hedoro

Now that she had mastered the one technique, there was no reason not to learn the other. This technique was a pair with a third technique, one that would take quite some time to learn. Better to start with this one, to be ready to learn the more difficult one later. With that being said, they were ready to begin. It started much like the last, with learning a melody. This melody was a little more complex, Hedoro had to work at it for a while. But she kept at it.
(1 of 9)

And eventually it payed off. She was still making a few mistakes, and had to start over each time, but she was getting there. Tayuya was a fair teacher, but very strict. Nothing less than perfection would do, so each time that Hedoro missed a note, or used the wrong pitch, she had to start over from the beginning. It was alright, though, if she perfected it now, it would only be a good thing later. The more she practiced, the better she'd be off when a fight broke out.
(2 of 9)

Eventually, Tayuya pronounced her version perfect. But that had only been the first step, now was the much more difficult one. This technique required chakra to be infused with the sound waves, just like the last one, but at a much higher level. It required easily five times as much chakra, but that wasn't it. It required three paths of chakra, as if there would be three targets for the technique. There were, but that could be worried about later. For now, she had to work at it.
(3 of 9)

And she did. It was very slow going, even with being a quick learner. This was very difficult, and Hedoro was having quite a bit of trouble. But she didn't give up, she kept going. When her chakra ran low, she'd take a break and think of the problem, while asking Tayuya to explain a key feature a little better. Each time she attempted it, she got a little closer, just not close enough. The day stretched on, and still she had no luck. Tayuya suggested she call it a night, and try again in the morning.
(4 of 9)

She agreed, after just a few more tries. None of them were even close, it was obvious she was exhausted. But she had done her best, it was good enough for a first day. She agreed to meet Tayuya back here in the morning, and went to find a place to sleep. It didn;t take long, she found a perfectly suitable hotel and paid for a single night's stay. Going into her room, she went right to sleep, not worrying about changing or anything. She wanted to stick with her practice, and that meant setting out right away in the morning.
(5 of 9)

She woke up early, and got ready as quickly as she could. Straightening her clothes, she got a quick bite to eat from an outdoor food stand and went to meet Tayuya. She was already there when Hedoro got there, apparantly she was an early riser. Without further ado, they got back to training. As Hedoro worked, Tayuya played a peaceful tune on her flute. Maybe it was her own practice, or maybe it was to help Hedoro stay calm and focused.
(6 of 9)

Either way, it was helping. She kept practicing, and each time she got that much closer. She had come a long way in such a short time, and was really close to mastering the technique now. Just a little more, and she'd get it! The morning melted away into early afternoon, and she finally had to take a break. Her chakra had been running low, she needed a bit of rest to get back in form. She wasn't out of chakra, but she was exhausted from using as much as she had.
(7 of 9)

Once she felt better, she ran through the melody again, she had it down pat. The chakra patterns were the hard part, she just had a hard time working with all three without getting them mixed up. Finally, inspiration hit her, and she put her all into it. Instead of picturing the chakra patterns as three edges of the same stream, she visualized her chakra as three sperate cords, and it seemed to work. She went through the melody, and when she had finished, she realized Tayuya hadn't stopped her.
(8 of 9)

She had done it! Tayuya congratulated her, and she felt quite proud of herself. She hadn't been sure she could do it, it had been quite a challenge. But she had, and apparantly she'd even proven herself to Tayuya. Tayuya waited for her to calm down, and asked her if she'd like to learn something powerful. Hedoro didn't hesitate, she said she did. Tayuya had apparantly made her decision while watching Hedoro practice. She would let her attempt to learn the summoning of the Doki.
(9 of 9, Flute Manipulation)
PostPosted: Tue Apr 03, 2007 2:48 pm

Hedoro

Hedoro was a little surprised that she had the opportunity to learn to summon something so soon in her career as a ninja. She'd read about the technique, it was famous. And rightly so, summonings were among the most powerful of all techniques. Some summonings more than others, but overall, all were very strong. She didn't know much about these Doki, but surely they were strong. She wondered if Tayuya would explain more about what this, or these, Doki was, before teaching her.
(1 of 30)

And she did. Before they even began going through what would likely be training from hell to teach the summon, Tayuya began to speak. She told Hedoro what the summon was, that it was in fact three summons. Three different ogres, collectively known as Doki. They were all very powerful, and she had controlled them using the Flute Maniuplation technique. Now that Hedoro had learned it, she could use it to control them too. After she learned to summon them, that is.
(2 of 30)

The training to learn to summon the Doki wouldn't be easy. It would be one of the hardest things she would ever do. Tayuya asked her once more if she was ready for this. Summons weren't something to take lightly. If the summon didn't think you were worthy, it could, and probably would, kill you. Not to mention the sheer amount of chakra needed to perform the jutsu, the complicated nature of the technique; all in all, it was virtually the hardest thing she could possibly try to learn.
(3 of 30)

Hedoro still said she was adamant in her decision, she'd go through with it. But even though she seemed absolute, Tayuya still told her to come back tomorrow. This training would take everything she had, she shouldn't even attempt it when she wasn't at full strength. Even though that irked her, it made sense. Hedoro said she'd be back at the crack of dawn, ready to begin her next step in training. She said goodbye to Tayuya, and returned to the hotel. She'd been told to take it easy; she couldn't very well train in something else while doing that, could she?
(4 of 30)

So she purchased a room for another night, and on a whim went ahead and paid for two extra nights. If this was going to be as extreme as she thought, then it would take more than just a day to learn the technique. After arranging for a room, she decided to get something to eat, and left the hotel. She found a small ramen shop and took a seat, buying a large bowl of plain veggie ramen with a side of meat buns. Digging in, she finished the meal quickly, and ordered a second of everything.
(5 of 30)

She could have kept going almost indefinitely, but didn't want to use all her money. Getting more was complicated, especially in a village where she didn't want to make enemies. She paid her bill and set out back for the hotel, ready to turn in, even though it was still early. It'd take some time for her meal to digest, might as well have that happen while she wasn't doing anything else. Going into her room, she lay down on the bed and just stayed there for several hours.
(6 of 30)

As she lay on the bed, she ran through what she had accomplished, all the different techniques she had learned. All in all, it was pretty impressive, at least in her mind. She'd learned some of the basics, always good to have on hand. And she had learned some obscure moves, ones that may catch the opponent by surprise. She'd even learned one or two very powerful techniques, ones that could come in handy when she needed some extra force.
(7 of 30)

As she thought, several ideas came to her head, ways of using the techniques came to mind. She checked each one for flaws, trying to second-guess her tactics enough to be prepared if they proved flawed. Time passed, and soon night descended over the village. She finally drifted off to sleep, eager to wake up early and resume her training. As she slept, she finished digesting her meal, and replenished her spent chakra from the day's training.
(8 of 30)

She woke up, and could just see the sun beginning to rise. She got ready as quickly as she could, and left the hotel to meet Tayuya once more. Even though she'd already done her best to get there early, again Tayuya was already there before her. Had she slept there during the night, or was she an insomniac? Hard to say, and in the end it didn't really matter. They were both ready to begin, so the training began without further ado. She wouldn't need her flute right away, but she would later.
(9 of 30)

The training began with Hedoro being told to expel as much of her chakra at once as she possibly could. She did so, and felt a large portion of her chakra pass into the air. Tayuya told her to reabsorb as much of it as she could, and she managed to regain most of it. Even so, she had still lost a sizable amount. But apparantly that had been the result Tayuya was looking for. In fact, the exercise had only been to make sure Hedoro could exert enough chakra to actually summon the Doki.
(10 of 30)

She had a moment to rest and recover chakra, then it was on to the next step. The hand seals required. Nothing incredibly difficult, it was nonetheless important that she learn them at least as well as any other technique's handseals. She had to be able to perform them without thinking about them, she'd be too occupied with other matters to worry about concentrating on her seals. Tayuya demonstrated the combination slowly, slow enough that Hedoro could watch each clearly.
(11 of 30)

Hedoro watched Tayuya perform the different signs, and then began to try them herself. Slow at first, to make sure she had the order right, and then a little faster each time. She went faster and faster, increasing her speed until she messed up. Then she started all over again, beginning slow and speeding up. This kept up until she could perform them in just a minimum of seconds, fast enough to not slow her down when doing something else, whether it be playing the flute or fighting.
(12 of 30)

She had mastered the hand seals, the next step was to sign the contract with the summons. Tayuya pulled the scroll out of nowhere, she must have summoned it via a technique. Unrolling the scroll, row upon row of names and fingerprints were written in red. The red looked almost brown, and that told Hedoro what it was. It was blood. This made her pause, she didn't have blood of her own. Would something like that stop her from finishing the technique?
(13 of 30)

Tayuya told her she would have to bite her thumb, sign her name in blood, and then smear her blood to each finger of her hand, and press each finger tip under her name. Then, after the contract had been finalized, she'd have to place the hand that had signed the contract to the ground after performing the hand seals, and only then would she actually summon the Doki trio. But Hedoro paused, she didn't begin writing her name, due to her unique problem.
(14 of 30)

Hedoro was faced with quite a predicament. She didn't have blood, so she couldn't sign her name in her blood. If she didn't do that, she couldn't learn the summon. But she really wanted to learn it, it was a way to get stronger that she just couldn't pass up. That meant, what did that mean? She wasn't sure. But at the very least, she'd quite possibly have to show Tayuya her secret. Only as a last resort, she'd try something else first. Even though she'd shown herself to Tamao, it didn't mean she'd show herself to everyone.
(15 of 30)

She had to fess up to at least a portion of her nature. She confessed she couldn't sign the contract because she didn't have any blood. Tayuya was understandably reluctant to believe her, so she had no choice but to take out a kunai, and slide it between her glove and sleeve. If she'd been a normal person, she would have just cut her wrist wide open, but nothing happened. No blood, no pain. This seemed to be enough to convince Tayuya, at least for the moment.
(16 of 30)

But regardless, it was still a predicament. Tayuya, even as the current master of the Doki, had no idea what to do in a situation like this. If Hedoro didn't bleed, what other option was there? Unless they could find Hedoro's equivalent? That would have to do, they'd find out soon enough if it would work or not. She told Hedoro to write out her name and fingermarks however she could, as long as she used part of herself as the ink, to create a bond between her and the contract.
(17 of 30)

That seemed reasonable, although she still wasn't sure if it would work. Hedoro moved the scroll slightly to the side, and put her side to Tayuya, so she could hide her hand while writing. She pulled her glove off, and began to dissolve the bonds between her chakra and her fingertips. Just a tiny bit, enough for a slight layer of chakra-tainted liquid to form. She wrote her name as quickly as she could, then pressed all five fingertips to the spot under her name.
(18 of 30)

She replenished her fingers' chakra, and quickly pulled on her glove again. Looking down at her name, it was written in a slightly blue-tinged liquid. Unfortunately it'd stay noticeable forever, there was nothing much she could do about that. But if her and Tayuya were the only two who would see the contract, that would have to be good enough for now. She didn't really have any other alternatives, did she? None came to mind, so she might as well put it out of her mind and try to continue on with her training.
(19 of 30)

Tayuya said there was still quite a bit to do. Now she had to work on combining the previous steps together flawlessly, in a mock summoning ritual. The order was hand sign, summon hand and then chakra release. The order was easy, but the timing was extreme. She had to do all of it as quickly as she could, but she couldn't mess up, even once, or it would be a failure. She began to go through the motions, warming up to a better speed as she got herself used to the rhythm.
(20 of 30)

Hedoro went a little faster, but messed up almost instantly. This was a lot harder than she had thought. It didn't seem that difficult, but each time she tried, something seemed to drive her to distraction, to cause her to miss an action or skew her timing. It made it difficult, and she couldn't even think about what the source was. She wouldn't let herself. She just had to focus enough. If she wasn't focusing hard enough, then she would fail, she just needed to focus.
(21 of 30)

Concentrating, she tried again, and again,a nd again. Each time, she messed up almost instantly, but she made it a tiny bit farther each time. Finally, after three dozen attempts, she finally made it through the hand seals successfully, and instead messed up by putting the wrong hand down to the ground. It had seemed like such an easy step, she must have gotten overconfident. She knew to be more careful about that now, however. Next time would be different.
(22 of 30)

Except it wasn't. Somehow, she must have told herself the opposite hand twice, because she put the wrong hand down again. Even at that, Tayuya didn't say anything. That in itself was odd, she had seemed to be such a stickler for perfection up until this point, why would she have changed now? But Hedoro didn't have time to worry about that, she had a summoning ritual to perfect. She could ask later, for now she had to focus, focus, focus!
(23 of 30)

Steeling her resolve, Hedoro prepared herself before the next attempt. Thinking through each step, she visualized herself performing the ritual correctly. Nodding, she tried to do it again, and actually got past the second stage. But when she tried to release her chakra, only a small amount left, not nearly enough to summon a clone, let alone an actual summoning. Hedoro cursed quietly and began to redy herself, to try the procedure once more.
(24 of 30)

But Tayuya stopped her. It was getting late, and she'd already lost a lot of chakra. It was time to call it a day, and resume in the morning. Hedoro only now noticed she felt exhausted, almost to the point of losing consciosuness. When had that happened? Unless that had been why she had been doing so lousy in her attempts to summon the Doki? That had to be it, there didn't seem to be any other reason. She nodded, saying she'd be back in the morning, and returned to her hotel room.

On the way, she picked up a quick supper and ate just as quickly. Even when she was tired, she could do simple activities like this without problem. Paying her bill, she went to the hotel, went inside of her room, and crawled into bed. She fell asleep almost instantly, and only awoke after dawn had been broken for some time. Waking up, she got ready and made her way to meet with Tayuya. She felt good, ready to continue her training. She was wide awake and her chakra was full, there was no reason for her to mess up as spectacularly as she had the day before.

Yet she did. She had greeted Tayuya when she first arrived, and got right to work on trying to perform the entire ritul. But yet, each time she messed up! Sometimes near the beginning, sometimes near the end, sometimes only a small detail, and sometimes spectacularly. She couldn't figure out what it was, but vowed to not give up. Straightening up, she readied herself for yet another attempt. It ended in failure too, which was what she'd expected.

Hedoro wasn't stupid, she knew something was up. She'd been paying more attention to the moments when she failed than the moments she succeeded, and she knew for sure that something was messing with her. Tayuya hadn't said anything about it, but she had a feeling it was connected to the contract. If that was the case, and if Tayuya hadn't said anything, then obviously she had to deal with it herself. And she would, she could be very persistent.

She continued trying the ritual over and over for the entirety of the day, and didn't even finish it, not even once. Finally, it came time for them to part ways. Tayuya told her that tomorrow was the final test. She'd shown good perseverance, but tomorrow, she had one chance and one chance only. If she didn't perform the ritual correctly on her first try tomorrow, that would be it, she would get no more attempts. She told Hedoro to get lots of rest, and not to show up until midday.

Hedoro went back to the hotel room, not even bothering with supper. As she went in her room, the concierge reminded her this was her last day. Of course, he was talking about the room, but she took it to mean for the summoning. She grumbled something nasty, went into her room, and went to sleep. She slept late into the day, and only woke up a little before noon. She got ready, and was resolved to do her best. This was her last chance, and she didn't intend to lose. Whatever that disturbance was, she'd defeat it with pure willpower!
Tayuya stood waiting, and Hedoro got ready. She didn't try right away, instead she tried playing a melody on the flute to calm herself. It seemed to have worked, she felt calmer now. Readying herself, she began the ritual. Something seemed odd, though, and she only kept with the ritual through sheer stubbornness. There was no disturbance. She'd been expecting it, and it wasn't there. That had been almost as disturbing as when it had actually been there, whatever it was.
But she hadn't messed up, and pressed on to the end excitedly, slamming her hand aginst the ground as she released a huge portion of her chakra. In a poof of smoke, something appeared in front of her. It was the trio known as Doki. She'd done it? Had they really accepted her as their new master? One of the three nodded. They had been the source of that disturbance, and had been testing her resilience and persistence the past three days. She had been tenacious and hadn't given up, they would accept her as their new master. They disappeared once more, and Hedoro raised a fist in the air to show her success.
Tayuya congratulated her, she had done well. That was the last technique she had to teach her, but she'd be keeping an eye out for any up and coming powerful ninja using a flute and Doki. She better not disappoint her! Hedoro vowed not to, and returned to the hotel, to do some thinking, and resting.

Nyu arrived in the hidden sound village and walked around the border heading underground through a secret passage like he had gone through last time. When Nyu came out through the other end he saw the hidden sound village moving along like normal. Nyu mostly saw many young shinobi training. Most likely for the up coming chuunin exams. Nyu decided to head in the direction of the training grounds to look for someone or maybe even a group of people to take on since these were merely gennin.

1/9.5

As Nyu entered the area he saw many labeled area saying things like Basic skills, Bloodline jutsu, etc. Nyu walked over to the bloodline area and saw that there were five students there learning how to use their bloodline traits. Nyu looked closer and saw that one was a Kaguya, Tayuya, Jiroubou, Kidoumaru, and Sakon clan. Nyu recognized them as the small off springs of the sound five. It might actually be a challenge for Nyu despite their lack of training.

2/9.5

Nyu opened the gate and walked through he then announced" Hey are all of you getting bored?" The boy from the Jiroubou clan nodded. Nyu then smirked and said" How about you five come at me to test your training. I will go easy on you all even though I am a kage." The Kaguya smirked and said" Alright let's go. We are a squad after all." Nyu smirked and signaled to tell that they can start whenever they are ready. They all smirked thinking that Nyu was crazy.

3/9.5

The Kaguya of course started he seemed to be the cockiest. He launched a few finger bullets in Nyu's direction as the Kidoumaru boy launched some sticky spider webs at him. The Tayuya began playing a melody then sent out powerful sound waves to attack the opponent. The Jiroubou then smashed his fist into the ground as a rock flew up he kicked it over at Nyu. Nyu sighed and said" Is that all you got?" Nyu quickly formed some black chakra and threw it around himself like a cloak to protect him from the attacks.

4/9.5

The attacks simply bounced off but broke the shield after the attacks had passed. Nyu thought he had nothing to worry about when the Kaguya came up behind him and launched a bone spear towards his back. The Tayuya appeared above Nyu still blowing on her flute while the Jiroubou slammed his hands on the ground and created a cannon that shot mud balls from a distance. Finally the Sakon clan boy appeared right above Nyu only a few centimeters away from his shoulder. He began reaching in to fuse with his body.

5/9.5

Nyu quickly began rotating mimicking the heavenly spin technique of the Hyuuga clan except with darkness. The attacks seemed to shift to the right once and reflected back blowing them all away. Nyu then smirked and said" I am a little disappointed Now it's my turn to attack." Nyu then quickly clamped his hands together as a few black spears came above each one of them and came down at an extremely fast speed. Nyu decided not to kill them and just scratched them across their body.

6/9.5

They all the got up and looked to one another and nodded. The Tayuya then said" It's time to use our strongest techniques now isn't it?" The group of sound shinobi nodded. The Kidoumaru then reached into his back and pulled his spine out. He then hardened it and then darted forward at Nyu. As soon as he had gotten close enough the Jiroubou clan boy ran up and created an earth barrier clay prison around the two. From the outside the Tayuya began playing a genjutsu melody.

7/9.5

Finally on the inside of the barrier was a sticky web placed by the Kidoumaru at a nearly light speed this was to prevent escape finally the Sakon clan was hanging from the sticky thread ready to grab and fuse into Nyu. Nyu smirked and then said" Wow I am impressed. Just not enough to beat me." The first and most dangerous threat would be getting rid first. Nyu quickly used the whistling wind techniques to cancel out Tayuya's melody.

8/9.5

Nyu had already secured tons of shadow needles within the ground but did not know he would need them. The needles had a very thin thread of darkness attached to Nyu's pinky. Nyu then pulled on it and blew up the needles taking down the barrier. Nyu then quickly grabbed the spine and then imbued some darkness in it and then exploded it and blew the Kaguya back. He then shot a black shard at each one of them and exploded them right before it reached them and blew em back.

9/9.5

Nyu smirked and said" Hey guys you did fine just keep training and you all should be able to beat me next time but don't think that I will let you." With that Nyu smirked and then left the area. He had told a sound jounnin what happened to make sure they knew what to train for he then left the area.
