She asked, trying too make somekind of conversation.

Kate turns of Claire and say, "Yeah, I suppose. How about you? I mean, you just had a baby and everything." She looks down at Claire's baby and smiles.

"Well, that's good. I know you've been having a really hard time since we've all came to this island. Hopefully some of us could leave when Micheal finishes the raft." Kate looks towards the raft where Micheal and Jin are tying some of the bamboo together. She then turns towards the fish and picks off a piece and starts eating it.

Claire asked as she looked down to Leslie and began to rock her gently in her arms.

Claire looked back towards Kate and noticed the look on her face.
"What's wrong?"

Jack felt terrible that he was hurting Sun by his lack of speech.
"I am just glad you didn't die from that sting..."
Thats all you are going to say to her?
Jack sighed and tried to think of something better to say.

Sun looked over at Jack as he spoke. At least he wasn't upset enough to want her dead, she thought. Sun sighed, lost for words. She wiped the tears from her face and tried to regain her composure.
"I knew things would change. I should probably go..." Sun trailed off.
She stared out a the water for a moment longer before making a move to walk away. If Jack didn't want her there, she would oblige.

Jack furrowed his brow, "You don't have to leave, because of me..."
He knew things between them didn't have to be akward, but it was inevitable. He wondered what would happen if Jin ever found out. Jack patted Sun on the shoulder. "How about we head down to the beach?" Jack smiled.
((Little is a relative term...one is 18 the other is 16...so they are wise to my deceptions... ninja ))

((LOL wise to your deceptions. I love that. I think I'd rather have a sister a few years younger like that then two nephews aged 6 and 1 who both seem to hate me. Hell hath no fury like that of my nephews...))
Sun stopped and thought about Jack's proposition for a moment. She decided this was only going to be as awkward as she made it. After a moment, Sun agreed.
"Yes, we can go see how everyone else is doing," Sun replied.
She slipped down off of the rock and stood, bracing herself against it for a moment. She still favored her left foot and probably would for a while.
