Example? You're referring to the Ak74 series reference?

No, the Gekkos.

And while you've made an admiral attempt at making it balanced, I'd really just prefer to see pixel camo that doesn't register on infrared. That in and of itself is a challenge, because it's nearly impossible to mask a person on thermal scans.

Oh, and Kai, I totally just spent half my day making an entire species. It makes me feel kind of bad that your seflaurinds still haven't been approved : / Wes is tough to please.

Yah, I'm a bit iffy on the stealth suit, myself. Terrans, for all their ingenuity, are not so subtle all the time. Rather than be sneaky and destroy the Drathonians through backstabbing, they just want to kill every last freaking lizard, and take out aggression in the process.

Also, the reason I'm taking so long with the SeFlaurinds is because they are really unique, and their history is really really hard to write, as well as their tech.

In any case, I have a huge amount of writers block for BHOTR at the moment, so, my posts will be rare, and if you do see them they may suck. Don't worry though, when i get inspired, fun things happen!

Digitized camo you say? Sure. I originally intended the suit to take more of a combat role anyways; it's supposed to be a smoothie of the Spartan-III SPI suit and Solid Snake's Octo-Camo suit.

Edit: Okay, I got the stuff in. Tell me what you guys think now.

Blar.......

Sorry about my lack of postage. It's going to be this way for a while. I don't have the time to devote to actually making up the story, and i don't feel like giving you guys half-assed posts. I will try to update at least once a week, so don't just leave or something. I'm really sorry, but it can't Quite be helped.

I'll get cracking on some creative juices for BHOTR. I finished my species submission more or less (there's not much to mine), and I beat Star Wars: Force Unleashed in 2 days. Which I'm getting my $50 back for. It was decent, a bit better than the KOTORs perhaps, but it had a few noticeable glitches that kind of made me frown at the negligence. The story was pretty solid, but it only took around 8 hours to beat, and that was with me going through every room force pushing every single object to check for jedi holocrons. Duel mode is pretty fun, and Maris Brood was hot, but beyond that the re-playability is low. I'd recommend renting it rather than buying, unless you want to be able to have lightsaber duels with friends without playing that crappy a** Clone Wars one.

Anyway, game reviews aside, I'ma see what I can do for you, Kai.

Which version did you get? (Wii? Xbox?)

It had better not be the Wii version, everyone should know it's been so watered down that even the storyline is different. crying

Why do people hate the Wii so? Why don't they give it hardcore games?
PostPosted: Tue Feb 17, 2009 2:39 am

The reason there are no hardcore games for the Wii is that it's a console for the 3-12 and 25 and up people. The hard core gamer is usually in that 13-24 range. You'll find kid friendly games as well as fun old people games. This is the main reason the Wii is so popular. The PS3 is made for the action/RPG gamer and the Xbox is for the military man. However, and this is my personal opinion, The PC is the best platform of them all. With better graphics and game play then an controller, the PC beats out all others.

And the mac would beat out the pc, if only people would make their frickin games compatible. I have a friend who works in the videogame industry, and he was in charge of recompiling the game for Mac. He said he was amazed how easy it was. mad

Anyway, alas, the version I got was for the wii. I have the misfortune of being in the 13-24 range, love RPGs and shooting people, and am stuck with only having a wii. My parents gave me a choice, and I picked it because I thought 'hey, they have to come out with games that don't suck some time, right?' Wrong confused

I love the Wii. It's a great little machine. It can hold my attention for just as many as hours as any other console or the PC. However, the number of games that can hold my attention is very limited. Namely, the Wii "Athlete Series," which would include Wii Sports, Wii Fit, etc. Also, Super Smash Bros. Brawl was great, even considering that they went retro with the controller. The Raving Rabids series is also quite the pleaser if you find loony rabbits with bizarre mini-games funny (a category in which I belong).

I would disagree with you on the PS3 and Xbox 360 distinguishing facets, though. More than 9/10 games-- AKA the entire friggin' library-- on the PS3 are available on 360. Resistance (and its sequel), Heavenly Sword, and Little BigPlanet are the only exclusives that come straight to mind (that are also worth a person's time) for the overpriced and overburdened hunk of silicon.

And while I prefer the natural feel of a controller, I will admit that the PC has a much wider library. Only problem (for some of us more hardcore players) is making room for all the installations (because you have to include all my school work, music, and other programs of necessity).

external harddrive ftw?

Zelda, Okami, Resident Evil, Prince of Persia, Manhunt... those are the good ones I've played so far (all RPGs o_O).

So if the wii version of SW:FU has a different story, what happens in the xbox/ps3 versions?

I do enjoy a good PC game quite a lot, but I have no problem with the Wii (yes you are right about the games selection being limited) some are really fun though, and the controllers give a nice feel. In the future it will be made to much more 'thrilling' uses I am sure.

I did notice (through reviews and videos) that the Wii and other versions of Force Unleashed are INSANELY different, but I haven't played any other than the Wii version, so I wouldn't know by how much. I enjoyed it, although some bits were repetitive, I had fun destroyzing things

AND
FINALLY

I has a costume picture
bwahaha
I should draw more though *fail*

I know, I'm a horrible member ;D

I beg to differ on the replayability,

I have played through the game a total of 11 times.
And it depends on what elements you speak of when comparing it to KOTOR
And little can compare to slashing enemies when one looks like Admiral Akbar
As for game in total the XBox version in better(little to no glitches, much better graphics, and different type of game play)

Yumi, on the first one... that's completely in accurate. It makes no sense. Why are you making uniforms for people without heads??

As for the second one, it reminds me of the uniforms in Code Geass.

Personally I thought it was more fun running around as Aayla Secura. Ackbar is overrated. I've played through it one and a half times, unlocked all the saber colors, 8/10 hilts, and have blown everything to hell in every way possible until it's gotten considerably boring. For an RPG it took at least 1/6th the time it should have. I'm bored easily, so once I've beaten a game I tend not to bother with it much. Which version do you have, Straken? And what's the deal with the 'sith ending?' I got the jedi one.
