Sayuri raised an eyebrow, just smiling softly as she patted him lightly on the arm. "You really don't have to you know." She murmured, noticing the change in his stride. She blinked a little, looking up to him rather suddenly since she had been looking on ahead. She didn't ask, for now since she doubted he would answer, just glancing over to the other caravans as she saw a fire getting lit up, ignoring the talk of them all. "I don't really care if I eat with them or not. I usually eat alone anyways." She was glad that he understood that there might be a need there, but not for her. Chuckling a little, she brushed back her hair, sighing lightly. "True...Very true." She seemed lost in thought briefly, then walked off towards the tree's with him, stretching with a yawn. "We could just eat by my caravan I suppose, what do you want to do?"

Nolen followed her lead. "Well I guess we're gonna have to make a fire and the whatnot. If you'll rip up a patch of grass for us to start a pit at, I'll go get the wood.." He wasn't completely sure how to start one from scratch but hey, how hard could it be? First thing the lion remembered: remove all flammable areas from the pit of flames. The male walked off towards the trees and when he was far enough, he stuffed the items concealed in his pocket into the mouth of the fish. 'Yeah, there we go. This will work and it will be surprising to say the least.' he thought silently to himself. Hanging the fish from his finger by the gills, he gathered up some sticks and twigs and whatever could fit in his one hand which wasn't much. So the trip had to be repeated after he impaled the fish onto a long stick and rested it against the trunk of the tree.

Sayuri nodded in agreement, stopping at a good spot, or at least where she was comfortable. Crouching down, she began to rip up the ground, she was used to helping with the building of fires back at the camp. And on her own... She lined it with stones just to be safe, pulling out a piece of flint from her back pocket, just rolling it around in her hands, closing her eyes as she enjoyed the small breeze that was blowing back her hair.

Nolen smiled when he came back to see that there were rocks there as barrier when he came back with some REAL branches and stuff for the fire. His emerald eyes casted a gentle green stare to Sayuri before he knelt down beside this pit and built a tee pee from the wood. He then kinda nervously laughed as he rubbed the back of his head. "From this point on I'm kinda at a loss here." He had no real survival lessons, just fire lessons and even then he always had a source of fire nearby to steal from.

Looking up as he returned, Sayuri smiled, her tail wagging just a little in her happiness. She picked up another rock, holding her flint in the other hand as she just watched him prepare the wood, giggling a little at his little laugh. "It's ok, you'll know after this." She grinned, she struck her flint across the other rock a few times, the sparks finally catching to the grass that she left at the bottom of the wood. It spread to the wood then, soon roaring to life as she leaned back, looking up to him with a smile. "We have Fire!"

((I need a verification about Otakon. Is Andrew a definite no?))

Nolen's eyes caught sight of the stones and he smiled to her. "Awesome!" It was a rare moment where his age shined through. "That stone looks to be very handy." He carefully grabbed the fish stick and sat down infront of the blazing embers to be VERY careful in cooking the fish. "Who taught you that trick?" He asked curiously; he was however keeping an eye on the fish. He seemed to be cooking the head more thoroughly then the rest of the body. It actually was getting to the point of where the head was turning black before the fish meat was cooked through. Removing it from the fire, he stuck it into the ground to allow it time to cool.

(( I received no word from him so thats a confirmed no. ))

Sayuri blinked a little, she knew he was younger, just not exactly sure what age exactly. She had guessed from 18-20, but maybe she was a bit off? "It's flint. We all need it so we can start a fire. Here, you take it. In case you ever need to start a fire." She held out the flint to him, smiling brightly to him. "we are all taught how to use flint or whatever we can so we can survive. I was taught when I was about five. Couldn't quite do it on my own then though." She chuckled a little, glancing to the fish herself. Watching him, she just tilted her head, her ears twitching as she scratched her neck fur.

((kks then Cory's going XD <3))

"Well, honestly, looks to me like you've really gotten the hang of it." Nolen took it and smiled at her. "Thanks." Setting the stone beside him, the golden lion took the fish off the fire. He was careful to use his claws, prying open the fish's mouth and two uniquely colored river stones. The fire had left a lovely shine across the surface. He then held out the fish to her. "Some dinner?" An offering really.

( wewt! ^_^ )
Sayuri blushed enough that it could be seen through her tanned skin, brushing back her hair since she knew from experience that hair on fire is not fun or happiness. "Thanks, comes from practice I suppose. No problem." She smiled brightly, watching him open the fishes mouth. Blinking, she couldn't help but be drawn to the stones, they were so pretty. "Kawaii......They're so pretty..." She was then distracted by the offering of food, grinning, nodding before she held up a finger. "One sec..." Leaping up the nearest tree, she was looking for some good sized leaves, and the hole in the trunk where she kept some nice sized stones to use as plates.

Dropping down a moment or two later, she grinned, holding the stones and two leaves, placing them over the stones. She put one in front of him, holding out her own so she could cut how much of the fish she wanted. "Thankies!"

Nolen just smiled warmly to her blush. She was cute when she did that but he would never point it out. Seeing her reaction to the stones made a proud grin flash onto his face. "Glad you like them. They ar-..." He blinked when she had held up the finger. "Huh?" And off the girl was, into the trees. He shook his head, smiling. 'My, she is very energetic.' he thought quietly to himself.

While she was away, Nolen carefully picked up the stones, and he took out a sturdy leather strap from his pocket. He was saving it for a special occasion but this instance worked too. Weaving carefully, by the time she had gotten back, there was a bracelet waiting for her in the spot she had been sitting, with the stones woven carefully as to not fall out. He looked up at her seeing the plates. "Ah, perfect." He took his from her. "Thanks." The golden lion then held out the fish over her plate to allow her to cut away all she wanted from it.

Sayuri grinned to him, turning to plop back down into her spot when she noticed what was there. She almost dropped her rock, seeming to sit down and put her food aside faster than humanly possible, the bracelet already in her hands. "Did you...For me?" She asked, turning around to face him, cradling the bracelet in her hands, her eyes wide. She just about never got any gifts from anyone with the exception of Lady Naomi, except then it was just like she was helping her out. This felt different. "THANK YOU!!" Taking the plate from his hands, she promptly tackled him, nuzzling his chest to show how grateful she was, almost seeming to pur. Food was not important at the moment, just the fact she had been given something so beautiful.

Nolen smiled when she came back and seemed happy to see the bracelet. To answer her incomplete question he just smiled. "Yep!" She held it so preciously it confused him. But he didn't care. The minute the plate was ripped from his hands, the golden lion male seemed very stunned as he was tackled by the lemur girl. She tackled him enough to have to use his arm to brake them falling backward. He just laughed and smiled to her, giving her a hug back with his one free arm. "You're more then welcomed Sayuri! It was the least I could do for you after today." This HAD to mean he was forgiven for upsetting her before!! ...........Right? He kinda dreaded if not because he had no more leather.

Sayuri pulled away after he hugged her, tail twitching quite happily as she chittered a bit, carefully putting the bracelet on. She just grinned to him, seeming to consider him for a moment before she nuzzled his cheek with her own, already back in her seat a moment later with plate in hand. "No one's ever given me something so beautiful, I love it. I'll treasure it always." She told him before she dug in again, her eyes sparkling with how happy she was, ears swiveling about as birds flew by overhead.

And just like that, she had returned to her seat and returned his plate. Nolen smiled at her. Very random lemur girl, that was for sure. He just smiled at her nuzzle. It was cute. "I'm kinda surprised you haven't received something better then that by now." He carefully plated the fish onto Sayuri's plate and his own. "With you traveling around, I thought many gifts would have been given to you." He was happy though that his meant something to her. Though with his pride, he would never tell her that.

Blinking a bit at his comment, she just tilted her head a bit, finishing off the last of her fish. She shook her head a bit, taking a bite of the fish he placed on her plate. "No, never. I mean, I have received gifts, though not as many in others." She looked at the bracelet again, the tip of her tail brushing against the stones. "This is special, the other gifts felt somehow not real, fake maybe. I love this." She smiled to him, taking another bite, almost dropping her plate as she vigorously scratched behind one ear. "Maybe some have been better, but I like this best." She winked, giggling as she got about half-way through the second fish.
