started running after syda "Hello again. It has been a couple days since the last time we met. By the way of we keep running this way we'll run into the swamp. I suggest running a little east then turning back north. Oh and if you don't remember my name It's zinc."

Shaydra nodded. "Yes, elf Zinc, I remember. The swamp isn't too big, I'm sure we can skirt around it when we reach it. And I don't recognize the name Haku, Araceli. Thank you for the offer of guidiance, I will turn to you if I'm lost." Shaydra growled and snorted at Haku, who apparently understood what she said.
They walked on in silence until they reached a bubbling, smelly swamp. Shaydra jumped onto one of the swamp trees, looked around, then said to the group, "There seems to be a thin strip of solid land. Hurry and cross, before it gets eaten by the swamp water."
Then she jumped and landed on another tree. She repeated this, jumping from swamp tree to tree, until she had reached the other edge, touching softly on the dry grass. "Hurry, we want to get to town before dark," she called.

Lex, still in her horse form and still carrying Luxran, thundered across the patch of land, not too thrilled with the idea of getting her hooves wet.

Araceli and Haku soared over. Haku was happy to have another dragon companion.

Grinning, Shaydra twitched a claw to Haku and growled at him, telling him something. Haku nodded and flew up and away, growling back to her. "Haku will be scouting for a moment," Shaydra said. "When he spots the town, he will come back and tell us how far away it is. It's nearly dark, so if town's close, we can continue; if not, we can camp here, though it will not be so good for Luxran."
Sure enough, Haku came flying back, snorting and whimpering to Shaydra. "It's close," Shaydra said, "but we have to go faster in order to get there before the gates close." She loped faster on all fours, going faster away from the swamp.

Luxran awoke slightly. "We should set camp." he said sitting up.

Shaydra looked over her shoulder. "I think we should keep going. Camp is not healthy for your wound, Sir Luxran. And anyways, the shapeshifter is carrying you. I'm sure we can make it."

Lex looked at Zinc, "Please tell Shaydra I am sorry for not speaking. My name is Lex and only you can understand me right now. I think Luxran is right, town would not be safe for him." She focused her deep emerald eyes on Shaydra.

"Yeah, thanks for delivering my whole message." Lex rolled her eyes at Zinc. She laid down Luxran and changed into a human and turned back to the dragon, "My name is Lex, yes. Sorry for not telling you sooner, there is no way you can understand me. Only he can," Lex threw her head at Zinc, "And I really don't think town would be a great place for Luxran right now."
