Triton Winters

"I don't mind at all," he smiled nodding, "I'm sure he did grow quite quickly," he chuckled abit knowing that someone as young as his sister could be his height...

He rose from his seat and bowed in thanks before leaving to follow Tymar.

Tymar led Triton down the hall to a large door in the tower opposite the one that they always used to go up to another level of the castle. Rather than there being stairs in this tower, it was filled with chests - old clothes that were still in good condition. However, the tower didn't smell like old clothes: it smelled as fresh as a spring meadow. Moths were non-existent here, and everything was well taken care of.

The manservant opened one of the chests and lifted out a beautiful set of spidersilk clothes that looked as though they would fit Triton nearly perfectly, albeit perhaps a bit loosely - though that was, in the desert, a bonus. He folded them neatly again and held them out to Triton, bowing at the waist and holding them just in front of his head as if in offering.

Back in the Dining Hall, Atalya was still seeing to her other guests. "If you'll follow Haldir," she smiled, beckoning for another manservant to come, "he will show you where you can change."

Another elf approached and bowed to Donovan and Yue, then turned and waited for them to follow.

Gently, Triton took the set of clothes from Tymar, "Thank you," he replied graciously.

They were soft and high quality, though he wasn't surprised. Donovan it seemed was right about this one, it would be better for him to wear this in the desert heat.

"Thank you," Donovan told the Queen, "For your help."

He rose from his seat so they could get their things and get changed quickly. The one reason why they had to hurry that Triton didn't mention was because of family reasons. Even though time passed much more slowly in Gaia, no point in pushing their luck.

Yue nodded, standing up and bowing slightly at Atalya before following Donovan and the servant to where they needed to go.

Tymar nodded and smiled at Triton, then led him to a small door in one wall of the tower. Within was a small dressing room, lit by a ring of torches about eight feet from the floor, and two windows that were higher up. The room itself was about ten feet wide and ten feet deep, and the ceiling about fourteen feet high. Against one wall was a bench, for either sitting or lying clothes on, and a chair lay in one corner.

Haldir led Donovan and Yue down the hall in the other direction, to where there was another room just the same as the one Triton had been shown.

"In here, masters," the elf said reverently, opening the door for them then standing to the side and bowing, allowing them to pass through. "I shall await you here."

Triton stepped through the door and shut it quietly behind him. He dressed carefully into the new clothes he was given, realizing absently there was no hole for is tail. Thankfully, Donovan had told him and pretty much ordered him have at least one weapon on him. He used his knife he had since boyhood to rip himself a whole to slide is tail through.

Fortunately they had managed to get their things, good thing they had taken it with them Donovan mused as he entered the room first looking around. The clothes he had for desert wear were not made by Helen, but were clothes he had just in case of something like this, or a place just as hot made by his clan. Not to mention it got ridiciously hot and humid during the summer in certain places in his country.

It was loose very pale blue silk pants and shirt, while the pants were Chinese style, the shirt was more European seeing as the collars were be stifling in the heat. However the blue was too simliar to white, so the outline of a dragon done in red was stitched onto the pants and another one wrapped around Donovan's buttoned up chest. On the inside of the clothes where no one could see were stiched the characters for good luck. Even assassins and bodyguards could be supertitious... perhaps that was a good thing. Making sure everything was in order and putting his weapons into places of easy reach (though he could put everything he had unlike when he had his coat). He dumped his beloved trench coat into the bag before stepping back out.

Yue leaned against the wall outside the door waiting for Donovan. It was only when the elder man had stepped out did Yue enter to get changed. Fortunately there wasn't that much of a difference between his clothes. It wasn't like he wore a shirt underneath that long robe coat of his, and his colours were white, silvers and trimmings of purple. The only difference was, when he changed was the quality in the cloth and the fact that it was made out of a different textile than his normal clothes. He did though braided his hair tightly, because it would be hot. Despite the lightness of his hair, it would still be bothersome to have it in his normal loose form. Only when he had tied the tie tightly did he come back out of the room.

Haldir waited patiently for the men to change, and when they had he remained where he was, motionless and silent, waiting.

Tymar looked down the hall where, several hundred feet away, he could see the others waiting. Once the neko was done changing his clothes, he would lead him back to the others, and from there to the gate.

Yue stepped out of the change room fully dressed as he should be, he tilted his head a bit at Donovan. Seeing the man was certianly ready.

Triton poked his head back out of the room, before stepping fully out, now in new clothes (at least to him). He had his old clothes packed away and his bag slung over his shoulder. He also brought out his other things, so now he was not only dressed, but geared for the travel ahead.

Tymar bowed to Triton and led him down the hall to where the others were waiting. He remained as silent as ever.

Once they were all together, Haldir took over, and Tymar left them.

"Do you have provisions for your journey?" the elf asked them, looking between the three. "Or shall I bring some for you?"

By this time, Elrohir was waiting at the gate already, his bag packed, weapons on, canteen tied at his waist. He had also changed into desert garb: elven robes of pale blue, made of spidersilk, that had a large cowl which, for the moment, he left off, but that when they reached the desert and its heat he could pull over his head and keep himself cool.

He sighed to himself, wondering how the trip was going to turn out. He was still very self-conscious about the way he had been acting the last time he had seen any of these men.

Triton shook his head, "We brought our provisions along," he explained to the manservants.

Thankfully they had made sure to be very prepared for the desert and with the bags all spelled to hold more than one considered humanly possible, it made it very convivent for them.
