Liddy shifted uncomfortably in front of Kyo's gaze and pulled herself up, ready to lead them away. She stiffened a little at the familiar smell and sound of her other pack members.
"Arch...? Loba...?" She asked quietly, turning her gaze upon them. "What brings you here...?"

Arch remained silent, wanting to learn what seems that everyone else knew but him, before he put his two cents in.

Kyo gently pushed Shi Shi to the side to allow himself out of his small den, licking the side of her maw in apology. He walked out from behind the waterfall and stood in front of the others, looking them over. It was a strange sight indeed for him to be looking them over, for on one hand he had that air around him that other wolfs would have a small fear for. On the other hand, he had a slight frame for his adult age, smaller than Arch even. But those crimson orbs that served as his eyes seemed to draw every detail off of them, making sure no harm had come to them while he had been resting.

Loba whipped her tail from side to side. " Sorry to displeasure you, Lady Liddy..." Loba said quietly. " But I can not go anywhere without knowing where I am going. It's not my nature and you should know that. "

"To Cal of course... he shall be in the Den." Liddy responded, watching as the pack protector left. "Hurry now..." She murmured, following quickly after Kyo.

Liddy slipped past Kyo and into the den looking at him apologetically before disappearing from the light. She silently rounded up her pups and curling them up beside her. They squirmed with resentment but quickly gave in under the steely grasp of their mother.

"Hush now, don't say a word." She warned quietly as Cal staggered to his feet at the arrival of Kyo, Loba, and Arch. "You'll be lucky if your father even lets you stay during the meeting. Show respect."

Cal limped silently to the center of the den before sitting, facing the gaping hole of light. He gave a small bow of his head to Kyo and straightened himself quickly.

"Do come in..."

A quiety rustle whispered through the den.
Bota and Cota's ears perked up. The sound was very familiar and they encountered many times when they tried to make a run for it. They looked at each other and lowered their heads shifting closer to their mother. Wotcher was laying comfortably in his mother's warmth and also reconised the sound, be he was half alarmed. It was a sound of comfort rather than fear.

Loba came quietly and slowly in. She approuched Lord Cal. She licked him and rolled over onto her back also showing her belly as a sign of submissivness and respect. She then quickly rolled back over and took a seat in between Liddy and Kyo.

Cal slowly lay down before the four wolves and quickly took in each face.

"It has come to my attention..." He began, his voice softer than usual. "From Doat, Loba and my good friend, that trouble is stirring up in the forest. Of course as of now it is just a feeling from the toads in the river. Nevertheless, Doat has always been a reliable source of information, and an uproar in the forest is not what our pack needs, especially if it is unprepared and uninformed.”

He shifted his position and cast a glance at Shi shi before clearing his throat and continuing.

“I have also heard from Arch whom I trust to a high degree that another wolf from our pack has met with some creatures from outside our alliances. A fox and a squirrel. These creatures aren’t known to linger with our clan. They are usually messengers from other groups unless it is determined otherwise, but they didn’t come and talk to me. This could mean a great deal of things, a misunderstanding, a betrayal, an act of desperation, or something as innocent as idle conversation… but no assumptions will be made until this wolf has spoken for herself. Due to the message from Doat I have no reason to believe that this meeting has something to do with the trouble. So I need to know now, from each of you. If there is anything that you know that the rest of us don’t.”
