Unfortunately, yousendit only lasts for 7 days, so if you want to hear what we've posted before that, you'll have to request someone put their stuff up again... it's annoying, but I can't find any other services online that let you do that unless you sign up for an account with them (like daretosing.com or something).

You could always use putfile.com. As far as I know that's a more permanent host to audio/video/image files.

Utakan You could always use putfile.com. As far as I know that's a more permanent host to audio/video/image files. Putfile? I've never heard of them... thank you! *Goes to check that out right now*

argh I wish I could hear Jurori's voice put the file has...expired? Alright, but I listened to Youko's and yes! Youko has a wonderfully beautiful petite voice with much potential certaintly, you're just a bit too quite, you'd probably be able to easily hit those notes if you pushed them out with a little bit more breath wink
And this entire thing has made me wonderfully curious, I'd love to record myself and get critiqued but I have no idea how to go about this...erm what recording programs/mics to people have that I should use if I were to attempt going about this?

I actually recommend diaphragm excersizes to get the high notes out. That's how you push them out. Diaphragm=tummy muscles. Using your chest for singing is bad. And I actually use the recording program Audacity, which is free. I have a Logitech mic which is designed for talking and whatnot unlike the mikes that comps usually come with. *shrug* One of these days I'll have the gonads to put my stuff up here. I'm just a terrible perfectionist. >>

I''m getting a new microphone with my laptop! My old one likes to make funny static noises. gonk Maybe I can hear myself a little better over the crackle, and figure out what the hell I''m trying to do here. xd Hah. Oh, jeeze. Webcam + Microphone + Don Juan Triumphant dress = Scattering people. xd I''d be scared it I were you guys. <3

But then Mommy Dearest got ahold of the computer and removed several quote-on-quote "useless" programs. That defragging took Paint, Microsoft Wordpad, Sound Recorder, and my ultimate passtime-- Solitaire. I had to have a friend put Paint on a floppy disc for me because I tend to use it after resizing an image in Microsoft Picture! It. That and I brutally murdered my old microphone. >> It aggrivated me far too long so I ripped it to shreds and bought me a nice $20 one from Best Buy.

I am only adding this because Eric_The_Phantom insists. I am horribly embarassed because...well, my voice here sounds like a crazy five-year old on drugs. The file only loaded up to "remember me" but it wasn't horrible, might I only suggest that you hold your notes a bit longer to smooth out the sound you were a bit choppy (but you weren't a crazy five-year-old on drugs)

Okay. Heh. Thanks. I tried again last night, but I wasn't in the mood to keep it (it was three in the morning) but it was better than this one, I think.
My speaking voice sounds so much better. I just tend to sing in really high notes.
