Mia slept seemingly peacefully, the snake still coiled around her arm laid it's head on her face as it too slept. In her dreams she was leaning over a young man who she knew quite well, she brushed her fingertips down his face as she cried over his lifeless body. His head rolled to the side and she saw vampiric looking bite marks. She awoke suddenly and sat up "this can't be happening.." she mumbled and looked at Izumi thinking that's what it was, wasn't it, dear sister?

((O_o we kinda keep missing each other)))
Izumi turned over for the zillionth time, somehow managing to hang onto her teddy bear. It really wasn't a surprise, though...she had the poor thing in a deathlock.
"Kohaku-kun...." she mumbled something incoherent.

Mia looked at her sister blankly and then laid back down and stared at the ceiling. "I should steal that stupid bear from her" she muttered, the snake hissed and slithered it's way into Izumi's bed and then returned to Mia with the bear. "Good Moon Pie" she laughed under her breath. The snake curled itself around the bear and went back to sleep, Mia kept her gaze on the ceiling.

Izumi woke up with a start. She didn't know why. A second later, she did.
"Kohaku-kun??" she looked around, burying herself under the bedsheets looking for him. "Where are you? Mia, have you seen..." she looked over there and her voice died in her throat.
"KOHAKU-KUN!!!!!" she shrieked as she saw him in the clutches of the giant snake. Without thinking she jumped up and sprinted towards them fully intending to rescue her bear.

"Hey baby sis" She smiled and gently took the bear from her snake and handed it to Izumi. "it was all his idea" The snake seemed to nod his head and flicked out it's tongue in amusement. Mia thought do i really want to ask her why she's scared of me? She shook her head and looked down at the snake. "into your cage please" she said softly and the snake slithered into a glass container. She put a wire lid on it and sealed it with thick metal clamps.

Izumi sighed a huge sigh of relief at seeing that...THING...get into a cage.
"I'm sorry...did I wake you up?" she said in the smallest voice possible.

"no, i've been awake for a couple hours" Mia sighed. "did you sleep well?" She knew the answer to that already but figured she'd ask anyways. The snake looked at Izumi's bear through the glass. "maybe i should get him a bear" She laughed slightly.

Feeling uneasy, Izumi looked down at her bare feet. "Fine, I guess...I don't really remember." she looked at the snake and shuddered. "If you get him a bear maybe he won't be lonely in his cage." and he won't come near me she added in her mind.

"He seems to like you, and that bear" She smiled weakly. "at least one of us slept well" she mumbled and curled up in a small ball. "I think i may just spend the day trying to sleep" she nodded slightly.

"You think he likes me? gonk " Izumi said, dismayed. Her face moved into a kinder expression. "You couldn't sleep good? What's wrong? Not that it isn't healthy to skip school every once in awhile or anything..."

"Nightmares" she mumbled under her breath, "horrible nightmares.. about-" She stopped her sentence short. "what was it you saw?" she looked at her sister, eyes cold and tear-filled, "what makes me seem such a beast?"

"W-wha...?" Izumi spluttered. Her mind was racing a mile a minute as she clutched her teddy bear closer to her.

"nevermind. i knew i shouldn't have asked." she rolled over and faced the wall. "go do whatever, i'll meet up with you later or something." she closed her eyes to sleep but was plagued with the same dream from her past.

"Oh...okay." Izumi said uneasily, only partly sure that she knew what was going on. She glanced out the window. "It's not yet time for getting up...I think I'll just lay down and try to get a little more rest." it was the only thing she could think of doing. Izumi layed back down and looked out the window. She was wide awake now and couldn't imagine being able to fall back asleep. But she still lay there.

Mia rolled over and looked at Izumi, and asked a rather blunt question, "I killed him, didn't i? and you saw it, that's why you're scared of me.." She sighed. "maybe i should just go back home." She got up and took the snake out of it's cage and put it around her neck, it loosely coiled itself and licked her face.
