Jabir kept checking her heartbeat and breathing "Everything seems fine here" he said out loud, more to himself than anything. Then he started checking her hears "Nothing wrong here either" he said
"Now lets check your eyes and mouth. Try to keep still Shavira" he told her, smilling

Letting out a sigh of relief, Kii went over to Shavira, smiling, to make sure she didnt get scared. Gripping her arms lightly, though quite prepared to tighten if she got too upset, she whispered to her, softly.
Shavira smiled as she listened to her mother, and laughed...

He first check her eyes by pointing a light towards them. In order to avoid her closing her eyes he did several tricks with his tail, just behind his head

Just as Jabir had planned, Shavira didn't close her eyes, even though the light annoyed her.
Kii, surprised at the tricks herself, grinned.

Jabir couldn't help himself in returning the smile. Just as soon as the tricks ended, he proceded to Shavira's mouth "Say Ah!"

Giggling hysterically by now, Shavira could barely make herself stop enough to say, "BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" As loud and long as she could. She swung her feet back and forth, enjoying whatever this new game was called.
Since Shavi wiggled so much, Kii had to try to calm her down a bit, but couldn't help feeling glad that Shavi was doing ok, even though everything around her was...well, overwhelming for a babe. "She really does *oof* seem ok, then...?" She tried to say as Shavi accidentally headbutted her in the stomach.

Jabir had a little trouble in checking Shavira's mouth, since she didn't kept still. After he managed to finish that inspection he replied to Kii "Well she seems perfectly fine. Whatever the problem the snakes are having it isn't affecting her"
Finishing the inspection to the girl he now turned his attention to the snakes. They seemed quite pale and kept motionless when he waved a pen right in front of one of the heads
As he gently grabed one with one of his hands and started to rub its skin with one of the fingers he suddently noticed it was loose "What have we here?"

"Oh, that's good then..." She loosened her hold on Shavira again. "Thank goodness..." She mumbled. Watching Jabir, she gasped as she watched the skin move. "Ah...buh...........oh...." Kii's face was now a nice shade of tomato.
Shavira was also watching what Jabir was doing, and her eyes grew quite wide. She had no idea what was going on, and it was quite confusing.

Jabir laughed as he figured out what was happening to the snakes "They're shedding. No wonder they were so still" It was so darn obvious he couldn't think why he had noticed it in the first place
He kept rubbing the skin with his fingers for a while until the skin seperated from where it connected to Shavira's belly. Then he slowly pulled it off and a rascally snake appeared from inside, just as active and colorful as it used to be
"Now I know what the problem was. The skin where it touches her belly was still firmly connected and it couldn't peel off. It needs friction"

"AH! It makes so much sense! Even I should've known that!" She smacked her forehead. "Dummy, dummy, dummy, dummy..." She sighed. "At least I know they're alright now!" She grinned and started to rub the skin of another snake. "Is this all I should do? Thank you so much, Jabir..." She continued to rub and another snake began to escape.
Shavira squealed as the first snake seemingly came back to life. "BAH!" Seeing how Jabir had 'revived' him, she began to try and free one herself...of course, before Kii stopped her from hurting the poor snake.

"Snakes are expected to shed from their head and not the opposite way" he blinked at Kii "Plus these aren't ordenary ones are you?" he said as he helped peeling another one

"Ohhh...I see. I'm...not much of a snake person, I must admit...not that it isn't obvious." She patted Shavira's head carefully which caused her Mishap to smile. "Aren't ordinary?"

"Well the're missing their tails aren't they?" Jabir said with a smile. He was just statting the obvious, trying to make Kii feel better from her 'lack of attention'
While Kii took care of the last ones he went to one of the shelves and pick a small bottle and started applying it on their bodies, where they connected with Shavira's belly. "Just to avoid any piece of skin still attached" he said before Kii could ask

"Oh, that's what you meant! I thought...er...haha..." She wasn't feeling very brighter today. It seemed she just kept getting duller and dimmer. As usual! She finished off the final snakes, and watched Jabir apply...well, whatever, to Shavira's skin. "Should I do this too? I mean, next time it might happen?"
All Shavira knew was that Jabir had somehow...magically, made her snakes come back to their usual selves. She wondered why mother couldn't have done it, but there were reasons she knew she didn't know. She almost tried to squirm away from Jabir again, feeling him smooth something on her and the snake at once, and it felt odd. Sort of like when Kii gave her a bath and washed her there...but not as warm.

"Any hydrant would do the same effect I believe. Or rubbing with a wet towel" Jabir said as he kept adding the stuff "This is just for the first shedding" he winked
