As Nori attempted at small talk with Jaydn, a woman came over to hand a drink to Jaydn. For a short minute, Jaydn looked the woman over, as was his habit to do with those he first met, and once deciding that this stranger was of no threat or interest to him, the mafia prince dismissed the woman from his attention. Jaydn glanced at Nori before pointedly taking the drink from the woman and downing it. The liquid burned down his throat and, though not the most appealing taste in the world, Jaydn knew that after a good number of these drinks life just might seem a little brighter. He placed the now empty glass on the table and looked to Nori.

Jaydn was a little hesitant to engage in conversation with the younger man. On guard, in case Nori made any sudden movements, Jaydn was being obviously distrusting of Nori but curious, almost in the way a bird took to a hand offering it bread. In Jaydn's mind, it should have seemed like a blantantly bad move for Nori to attempt to talk to Jaydn when it was quite clear that he was in a foul mood. The fact that Nori didn't seem to catch that made little sense to Jaydn unless Nori was secretly not very bright. Or just very suicidal. Making sure to keep the distance between the two of them, Jaydn asked, unnecessarily suspicious, "Aren't you going to drink?" Now that Jaydn thought about it, he wasn't sure if he wanted to get slammed if this crossdresser was planning on staying sober.

Maddox, taking immediately to Xavier's bait, drew something of a frown on his face, his blue-grey eyes narrowing slightly in a scolding fashion. "You can't have it Xavier, you know you can't." Maddox was earnestly trying to sound firm and unwavering in this but was still remarkably unconvincing in this impression.

Realizing that Levi was, per usual, Xavier's partner in crime, Maddox tried to appeal to him as well, speaking with his unusually polite English, "Levi, Jaydn has demanded that Xavier should not have any alcohol because he is underage and unlikely to be responsible in his actions. Please do not help him in unnecessarily illegal activities. Jaydn will be unpleased." If Maddox was aware that the last word he said wasn't an actual word in the English language, he was doing an excellent job of seeming very convinced that it was. He continued to look at both Xavier and Levi intently, wanting either one to cave to his request, under the impression that the other would follow suit. True, it was very rare, if ever, that the two listened to Maddox, not that anyone who knew all three of them could blame them. Maddox radiated a vibe that demanded no one pay much attention to what he said and Levi and Xavier gave that opposite aura, that they were compelled to not pay attention to anything anyone else said.

Nori hid half of his face behind the drink menu when Jaydn asked him if he was drinking. "Ah, I suppose so...not sure what to get..." He was surprised in the way Jaydn responded, but glad that it wasn't in a particularly hostile way. He was quite an interesting character, as Nori had never met anyone like him before. After catching the waitress' eye contact, he smiled at her as she approached.

"What's your favorite drink?" he asked.
The waitress was a little puzzled, but once she replied, Nori gave a content nod and said, "Then I'd like that please." and watched her walk away.
Placing the menu down onto the table that had likely seen many interesting drinks, Nori spied Jamie sitting quite alone on the other side of the table. He hadn't noticed him come in and felt a little guilty about not greeting him. After stealing a few seconds to stare at his face, Nori observed that he had a drink already and asked softly, "What are you having Jamie?" Perhaps Jamie had sat by himself on purpose, or maybe he didn't want to intrude on the conversations, but Nori didn't want him to feel alone. Especially on an outing were they were going to loosen their skins.

"Ok," Levi let the resignation draw out as he turned his bright green eyes to Maddox, "If you insist." His gesture, shaking his head a little to bring attention, was childish and a little effeminate, but so was everything about Levi. Not that he didn't like it. Being only the smallest bit feminine seemed to make the ladies more likely to trust him, and this usually turned out for the better when it came to the small man's love life. And for getting his way. He thought about Xavier's reply, waiting until Jadyn was wasted, and decided, firmly, to go along with it. Jadyn was bound to be more fun when drunk. Unless he was an angry drunk, Levi figured, that would be quite frightening. The small Irishman shuddered, and decided to watch and wait. If Jadyn was an angry drunk, at least he hoped to get some small inkling of that, so Levi could disappear.

Jamie looked up and smiled immediately upon being addressed by Nori. "Not sure, exactly," he sighed, looking down at his drink, "Tastes like it has vodka in it though. Really, I just asked the bartender for something strong and not disgusting." He almost laughed slightly at the idea. "Do you have anything for yourself?" he inquired, having not seen Nori order his drink. Jamie's body was set into himself, loosely guarded. It wasn't that he wanted to be alone, no, quite the opposite, but noone here would give him the attention and care that he craved. He had left the only person who had, Ian, and now the other man hated him. And he wasn't that close to Nori yet. Not to say he didn't want to be, his unconscious affection for Nori was one of the voices that worried away at his mind.

Ian had been looking forward to going to the bar but his excitement changed drastically as soon as he entered the noisy establishment. The swirl of colors and loud talking made Ian's head hurt. Walking around timidly, Ian quickly found a place at the bar and ordered a drink. He looked around and found that most of the other mafia members were already preoccupied in conversation or in a game of pool. Ian watched quietly as Nori and Jamie talked. It seemed like they were getting pretty close. It kind of made Ian sad. Jamie could so easily fit in with other people but for some reason it seemed that Ian could only alienate people. Staring down at his drink, he wondered if he'd get in trouble for completely wasting his pathetic sorrows in alcohol.

Karma was thrilled when they finally got to the bar. This kind of atmosphere was his element. Bright lights, sexy waitresses, and alcohol. There was nothing better in Karma's opinion. The best thing, most of all, was that boss would be busy drinking leaving Karma the opportunity to get out of the lecture that he was sure that was coming. Karma made sure to avoid his boss's chair and a good three feet around it. Giving his boss at least a nod in greeting, Karma walked pass Jaydn and preoccupied himself by flirting with one of the waitresses. He knew that this was a get-together made for getting to know the rest of the mafia members but flirting was just so much more fun. Plus, it seemed like everyone was on edge lately.

Charles had entered the bar shortly after his companions. Though he had ridden in the car with Miles and Jaydn, he had taken his time actually entering the bar. His wife had called, but he hadn’t got a chance to return it. He talked to her quickly, letting her know that he wasn’t going to home that night. Charles normally went home when he had nights off, but seeing as this was an opportunity to acquaint himself with those he was in the home of, he found it almost mandatory to show up. After hanging up with his wife, Charles carefully stepped into the bar, spotting the group without any trouble at all. Politely making his way up to the table, he said excuse me and thank you to those he passed, although they made a nice pathway for the big man as he walked.

Settling himself across from Jaydn, Charles surveyed his surroundings; something he often did before letting himself get comfortable. He found Miles playing pool with Kyrin. They seem to be enjoying themselves. He thought with a smile. Charles didn’t think that Miles got out enough, he often would mutter to himself when he saw Miles pulling yet another late [and sometimes unnecessary] night at work, ”That kid is going to kill himself one of these days…” Moving his attention around the bar, he noticed Karma. Charles thought Karma had always been an interesting one. The fact that the man didn’t go anywhere without some sort of anit-germ substance had always been odd to Charles, but he thought Karma a nice enough person just the same. Charles then noticed one of the men who resided with Kyrin sitting at the bar, Charles felt for the man as he seemed to be sad, but decided not to go and bother him unless he joined them at the table, Ian. Charles thought, Yes, I think that was his name.

Charles gave Ian a smile, though he didn’t know if the man would see it, before looking back at the occupants of the table. Jaydn was in front of him with a drink. Charles smiled internally at this, Jaydn was a nice drunk, though Charles couldn’t say that he believed in getting drunk, but he certainly wouldn’t tell another man that he wasn’t allowed to. Levi and Xavier seemed to be picking on Maddox again, something that Charles hardly did, and almost never found funny. There was something about the pair that Charles couldn’t hate, but he didn’t particularly appreciate their actions. Charles wasn’t victim to the jokes that either of them play but once in a blue moon, but he still had to hear about their jokes from others in the mafia. Maddox on the other hand, was always getting picked on, not always by Xavier and Levi, but the whole mafia in general. Charles couldn’t do anything about it, but he somewhat wished that Maddox would grow a backbone some day, like his brothers.

Charles noticed the very effeminate looking man that he had seen about the mansion cleaning or hanging close to Kyrin, talking to a man whom seemed familiar to Charles. Charles looked at the man for a little while, trying to place him in his head. I’ve seen him somewhere before…but where? Charles generally knowledgeable about people he had seen or met before, but for some reason James’ place was eluding him. Deciding that a drink might loosen his memory slightly, Charles ordered himself a beer. He would wait until Nori was done conversing with the man to try and talk to him. A name would be helpful. Charles thought as his put the beer mug, that had just arrived, to his lips.

Xavier had been about to laugh at Maddox’s feeble attempt at being demanding, when Levi actually gave into what Maddox said, without even making fun of him. Xay sent a slightly hurt look at Levi for not playing along and pretending that Xavier had accepted the drink and decided that he would pick on his brother if Levi wasn’t going to. Xavier, though having a thick accent and the tendency to have to grope for the words he wanted to use, knew the English language slightly better then Maddox.”Unpleased?” He taunted loudly, “Jay will be unpleased?” Xavier laughed in spite of himself,”Learn to speak English!” He poked at his brother across the table, before rolling his eyes, and sitting back looking pleased with himself.

Xavier finished off the water in front of him and grabbed another one from the center of the table. The waitress that kept coming by was leaving glasses of ice water for the group, unasked. Xavier appreciated it. He figured it had something to do with the fact that it was known that the Matsui gang got drunk often. Suddenly, not knowing why, Xavier wondered what his Uncle Han would think if he knew that Ky, Jaydn, and Xay were getting drunk. Xavier smiled that the small thrill that it was that his Uncle didn’t know. Xavier clicked his tongue ring, waiting. Come on Jay. He thought a little impatiently, I’m getting bored here.

As Miles finished another shot with the cue, he stole a glance at the party's table and noticed that there were a few more heads there than before. The rest of the Coyotes had managed to make it, and it seemed all of Kyrin's crew was getting situated as well.
He heard a couple of groans from the people watching the game as Kyrin had barely missed a shot. Not only did the players have an audience, but it seemed that they were also starting to pick sides.

Miles smirked to himself and stepped forward to the pool table again. The Mafia Princess was enjoying herself, and he didn't mind to be the one doing it, as long as she didn't get boring.

Kyrin had noticed the crowd as well and was enjoying the attention. It had been too long since she had gotten out, and it was making her feel good. Her game with Miles had picked up momentum, as the two played around one another. It was clear that Miles was making more balls in then she was, but the moment he scratched, a smile spread across her face again. The cheers of her side and the groans of Miles’ side mixed as Kyrin pulled the ball from the pocket he had hit it in and brought it to the proper end of the table. Taking aim, Kyrin shot it at the side of the table, causing it to rebound into one of her striped balls. She held her breath as the ball spun off towards the pocket and laughed slightly when it stopped just short. ”Why are you playing easy on me?” She taunted in a playful way. Kyrin didn’t really know if he was or not, she just figured him to be good at pool; she drew her conclusion from the way he held him self and the way he held the cue as if he were a force to be reckoned with. It was funny to Kyrin how similar they were in that manner. She watched him sink another ball into the corner pocket and set up for another shot. She watched him with a smile.

Maddox, turning slightly pink and flustered, stuttered out to Xavier, "W-what? Yes it is." Now that Xavier had planted that seed of doubt in his mind though, he was unsure. Thinking over his choice of words in his head Maddox couldn't figure out what was wrong with the word 'unpleased'. It seemed to fit in with the rules of the English language where placing 'un-' in front of a word turns it into its negative form. But it didn't matter anyway. Maddox had, surprisingly enough to even himself, gotten Levi to not give Xavier a drink so there really wasn't any use in arguing with his younger brother.

"No it's not." Jaydn had just been walking by towards the pool table when he heard Xavier's tirade about Maddox's ability to speak English. He had given a short laugh, unnoticed by either of his brothers, who seemed very set on arguing with one another. Jaydn knew that Maddox was much better at disguising his accent compared to Xavier but Xavier's knowledge of words surpassed the quiet teen's which was underdeveloped from his lack of social contact with the native speakers. He continued, "The word you want is 'displeased', which I will be if you drink anything, you brat." He directed the last bit to Xavier before continuing to the pool table.

Jaydn had been watching Kyrin and Miles play for some time, wanting the game to end so that he could lure the two of them into a drinking contest with him. But Jaydn was becoming impatient and Kyrin looked like she could use a drink considering she hadn't had one yet. Going through the crowd that had gathered about the pool table, Jaydn walked up next to Kyrin as Miles made his shot, commenting, "You don't need to hold back, Miles. It's not like Kyrin's going to cry when she loses, right Ky?" He smiled teasingly to his cousin. He had played pool with her and she was pretty good at the game, though of course, not as good as Jaydn himself. "Hey, what do you want to drink?" Somewhere in the back of Jaydn's mind, he knew he shouldn't have been encouraging Kyrin's underaged drinking and perhaps should have been stopping her from doing it but, from that same place in his head, he knew it would be pointless to try to keep her from doing what she wanted. She's almost of age, a year can't make too much of a difference.

While he spoke to Kyrin, Jaydn could feel the eyes of the crowd shifting their focus to look at him, perhaps curious as to who he was and why he was speaking to Kyrin. He couldn't keep a slight smirk from his face as he recieved the attention, running a hand through his hair casually. Maybe I'll pick up some company for myself tonight. Jaydn however hadn't seen anyone yet that met his standard in women so he wasn't putting his hopes up.

Xavier was about to laugh at Maddox’s obvious faltering, but when Jaydn walked by and told him again that he was not to drink, the teen’s eyes lost their gleam. He knew that his brother used to drink when he was too young to do it and that Jaydn was just being a snob now that he was older. Xavier rolled his eyes at his oldest brother and turned his attention back to his second glass of water. Just you wait Jaydn.. He thought spitefully as he raised the glass to his lips and drank from it. He had removed his straw from his glass and set it on the table, contemplating whether or not it would be extremely inappropriate to through the piece of plastic at Maddox. Deciding that it was just slightly too childish for him, he finished off the glass of water and waited for Jaydn to walk away.

Kyrin saw Jaydn walk up and rolled her eyes at him when he spoke. ”I’m not the one who cries when I lose.” She retorted as she shifted her position. Kyrin watched Miles make the second ball in the hole and her heart sank a little. He was nearing the end of his balls and Kyrin still had at least two more then him on the table. Miss. She thought before Jaydn caught her attention again. A smile spread immediately across her face as she tried to think of what she wanted to drink. Deciding that it didn’t matter she said, ”Anything is fine.” She thought on her answer for a second before amending it with, ”Except for beer. I don’t want that crap tonight.” With a smile, Kyrin watched her cousin wander away towards the bar. Kyrin’s attention went back to the game. She watched Miles’ shot fall a little short of the pocket before spinning around and yelling as loud as she could manage after her cousin, ”Jaydn!” She waited until he turned to look at her, ”Let’s do shots!” And then she lifted her cue in her hands and made her next shot, the thought of alcohol exciting her.

Just as Jamie had asked his question, the waitress had arrived to place down her favorite drink, the one that Nori had ordered. Even in the darkness of the club, one could see that it was quite flamboyant, with a brilliant red color.
"Er, I guess I ordered this." he said, observing the drink curiously. He was glad to make small talk with Jamie, since he seemed closed off lately, but he wouldn't inquire about it, since it wasn't his bussiness.

Nori watched Jaydn leave his seat and go towards the direction of the pool table, before nervously taking a sip of the red concoction in front of him. It was sweet, but the bite of alcohol was not one he could get used to easily. There was a stray straw laying on the table, so Nori contented himself with just blowing a bubble or two in it for now.
He was about to open his mouth to continue his conversation, when he distinctly heard Ky's voice ring out something about taking shots...shots?!

He nearly stumbled out of his chair mumbling something about being back in a moment. Taking his drink with him in hand, he squeezed his way through the bodies of those swaying to the music and occasional flashing lights, until he reached another crowd of bodies closer to the gaming area. The two players that everyone seemed to be enraptured by were no other than Kyrin and the dark-eyed man from Jaydn's gang. By stepping towards Ky, he felt as if he was stepping into a spotlight and interrupting a play. "U-um, Ky? Can I speak with you please? Outside?" Although she had been emotional earlier, she seemed in good spirits now, though reluctant to leave her audience. "I'll only be a moment." He added, as the two left for the entrance.

Miles smirked, amused at Kyrin's question. He thought about giving a smart remark but thought better of it. He was even more humored when Jaydn decided to inspect the commotion. He figured his boss would have been drinking like a fish by this point, but evidently he wanted to wait for his cousin. He seemed to have a soft spot for her, even when he blatantly tried to prove otherwise.

Miles loosened his tie as he heard Ky call out that they'd have some shots. Sounded alright to him, and would probably tould be quite the spectacle to see both of them hammered. Just one drunk Matsui was a handful, so to think of increasing numbers of them... Hm, perhaps tonight might be fun after all.

He was dissapointed to see Kyrin's servant boy (or whatever he was) pull his entertainment (Kyrin) away from him. He took a seat on the edge of the pool table and lit another cigarette to keep his hands busy. Watching the crowd dispurse, he figured it was about time to order a drink for himself anyways.
