((AHH! *pulls out a brand labeled " 'its' when possesive" and starts chasing Light* I'll burn it into yew, I will! XD))
"Only... to sleep..." All three eyelids drooped as he curled up against the couch. "Aawljushstayearwanda..." That was supposed to have been 'I'll just stay here, Yolanda', but it got a little mashed on the way out. Imo was too tired to care, though. The human was smart. She'd figure out what he was doing even if she didn't understand the words.
That was the failing of human speech most creatures' speech... words. Dragons tended to skip over them among themselves... Imo was out like a torched dipped in water a few seconds later: quickly, accompanied by a bit of 'hiss' as the air pulled through his nostrils. His tail was wrapped around and tucked beside his forefeet; his head was cushioned on the couch alongside him. Safety-wise, at least he could accurately claim to be a light sleeper; trouble in the forests often visited in the night, and a infant sleeping dragon was almost as vulnerable as a sitting duck.

Yolanda steadied herself and pushed away the last threads of the vision.
"Well then, if you would follow me," she said, walking towards the spiraling stairs. They were made of glass, but sparkled as if carved from crystals. The mage, of course, thought nothing of it, but that was only because she had designed it herself. As they reached the top, she pointed to the left.
"Over there are the guest bedrooms. They should be well taken care of," she told them and then pointed to the right.
"My room is down that way, at the end of the hall. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask," Yolanda smiled at them and then headed off into her bedroom to call upon a vision. She had to know more about what was going to happen and why a premonition had come upon her so suddenly.

Nodding with a smile, Lasha followed her up the stairway, running a hand curiously over the cold glass of the banister. It was beautiful. She gave one look behind to see Imo already asleep and gave a small chuckle, whispering..
"Sleep well great wyrm." Before saying to Yolanda. "I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this...Thank you.." And with that the drow gave a small bow and turned down the hall to claim a room for her own.

This left Ravenar on his lonesome in the area with the sleeping Imo. He looked over at the small dragon. "Indeed, mysterious one..." He whispered, talking about Lasha and not Imo. "I would like to know why you decided to live after that..." His eyes narrowed. Something didn't add up, or perhaps he was reading too much into things. Perhaps she wasn't telling him everything... He would see.
He knew that he was welcome in the house of Yolanda. Quite often had he turned down the offering of a room for the night here, as he did not wish to freeload. However, he wanted to stay close to this new Drow and perhaps offer her a place to stay, perhaps, even though he had little room for himself in his own home.
He sighed. Ravenar began to ascend the stairs, towards the guest rooms, finding one for himself, placing his dagger on the nightstand beside the bed. He sat down on the bed but did not lay just yet, putting his chin in his fist, crimson-irised eyes narrowing.
"So... perhaps she is, and maybe she had not a shred of dignity left in her... but even so, she could find a place here, easily. All she would need to do is learn to control herself... she doesn't seem quite able to do that just yet, like most Drow females..." He sighed, remembering his ancestral home... Women were dominant, men were slaves and soldiers, pigs walked upon like dirt beneath their feet...
He remembered something else she had said. "So... her brother..." He shook and lowered his head. "There's a reason I am a pacifist... So something like this does not happen..." He blinked a few times, thinking of what would happen if he had lost one of his brothers.
As he blinked, a single tear rolled down the ebony skin of his cheek, and he finally relaxed, lying down, and going to sleep.

Finding a suitable room, she turned off the lights that had suddenly come on when she entered. Finding it very comfortable indeed she placed her sword and belt (with her dagger on it) on a table by the bed before taking a blanket off the bed and laying on the floor like a pallet. Laying down on it she covered herself with her cloak and drifted off into uneasy sleep.
Though she thought her sleeping conditions quite comfortable, it wasn't the cause of her discomfort...

Yolanda opened the door to her room and stepped inside. Making sure that the lock was secure, she sighed. The vision she had earlier stunned her and she wanted to know more. Now was the time to try...
She slipped off her heavy robes and into a nightgown made of lighter material. Then, she sat, crosslegged on the wooden floor, with her staff in her hands. Pushing away thoughts and sending herself into a state of calm, she closed her eyes.
"I call upon a vision...the right given to me by the Six Seers. Give me the power to see what lies in my future...show me what fate has decided for me..." she chanted these words quietly, her speech no more than a low murmur. She continued to chant until about an hour later.
Nothing.
Frustrated, she stood up and was about to go to bed when it felt a blow to the head. It wasn't a physical hit, but more like a mental shock. The feeling was the same as before, but overpowering. Surprised, she fell to her knees, panting. Her eyes were wide with fear.
In a moment it was there and then it was gone...
Still, the feeling lingered... Closing her eyes, she got up slowly from the floor and went to her bed. Tomorrow...she needed to sleep for now. Tomorrow...

Eyelids parted in the harsh rays of morning sunlight to reveal a slit of a yellow eye with an ink-blot of a pupil contracted at its center. Imo blinked. Why was there so much light? The forest was never this bright...
His eyes focused enough to discern the odd construction of Yolanda's house as memories of the previous day filtered into his mind, explaining his current situation. With a rumble Imo rolled onto his belly and stood up, shaking himself slightly to waken the various limbs. He was hungry. He sniffed around slightly for any hint of food, but the air was surprisingly sterile for a home. Perhaps it was an effect of all the magic in the area.
Imo sat back on his haunches to study the stairs the others had gone up the night before, wondering if the others were awake yet. He hoped so. Stomachs waited for no man (or dragon), after all.

Stirring from an odd dream, she sat up straight and didn't realise that while she had slep she had shifted so that she was half under the night-stand. Upon sitting up she smashed her head against the underside of it and cursed very loudly in drow..
Once she had finished that little bout of anger she crouched enough so that the drow could slide out from under the table and sit up properly, putting a hand to her forehead as she continued to mutter a string of curses under her breath.
That was when Lashantha realised it must be daytime, where she had been used to travelling at night-time because of her sensitive eyes, the sunlight had filtered through the window to shine just into her face. Covering her hand with her eyes as she uttered a small shriek, she attempted to reach the doorway while shading her eyes.

Ravenar had never been the kind of person to have nightmares. He was afraid of little, even for a mage, and had even come to terms with death long ago, some of the things he did as a mage rather unorthodox and quite dangerous.
But that night was different.
Tossing and turning in bed, he had a rather disturbing nightmare. He recognized where he was standing, back in the Underdark, the cavernous home of the Drow.
But he was standing where Lasha's brother had been.
And in Ravenar's place was Lasha, who cackled as lightning streaked from her fingertips, striking Ravenar down. He hoped it would end, but it did not.
He was there, writhing on the ground in agony, though as he recalled, her brother died swiftly. No, this was not death, it was something Ravenar feared more than death. It was torture. The lightning seared every inch of his body, rippling through him and making his body convulse in the pain and electricity. He cried out, but Lasha's cruel laughter drowned out the crackling of the lightning and his cries.
And then Ravenar awoke, and it was morning. Wiping the sweat from his ebony-skinned face, he thought back on the dream tenatively. It had a meaning, as all dreams did.
He feared possible retribution from Lasha. He knew it for certain, now.

When her eyes finally opened, it was far into the morning. Had she slept so long? Why hadn't she awakened? The answer was most likely because of the ordeal that night. Her energy had been sapped, making her sleep longer, it seemed. Stretching, she swung her legs over the side of the bed and stood up.
"I wonder who else is awake...?" she thought, opening the door to her room and walking down the hall to the stairs. Once there, she looked over the balcony and noticed Imo awake.
"Well, you're an early riser," she commented, smiling, "Hungry, I'll bet." She laughed quietly to herself and began descending the stairs.
In her mind, she wondered how Ravenar and Lasha were doing. They would probably be up soon as well.

Ravenar stood and donned his black robe, picking up his dagger and sticking it into his belt under the robe. He sighed and brushed his hair around with his hand as he always did, as it was short and easily kept looking clean and neat.
Ravenar walked over to the door and opened it, wishing that he could adapt a different sleep cycle that actually was convinient. Awaking during the day was quite annoying to him, though he had done it for so long. The sun hurt his eyes less than most Drow, being out in the open more, but it still annoyed him. He hoped one day that he would not feel the pain anymore, but he was sure that he would continue to.
Ravenar stepped through, shielding his eyes from shafts of sunlight that came through some windows and such, spying Yolanda. "Good morning." Ravenar said softly with a short bow, walking over to her. "What exactly do you think we should do about our newcomer? If you can't accomodate her here, I could certainly squeeze her in at my home, given time to rearrange things." Ravenar spoke softly so that if Lasha were eavesdropping, she would have a hard time hearing what he said.
"Or perhaps it may be better if her and I stayed together, on a more psychological point of view. It may be easier for her to get along with those of her own kind..." He suggested.

Imo nodded eagerly when he spotted Yolanda on the stairs, trotting to the bottom of them as he waited impatiently to learn whether she planned to feed them all or not. Tail swishing back and forth, he cocked his head inquisitively as he observed the male drow approach Yolanda, speaking in hushed tones to the mage. Irritablely he gave his shoulders a sharp shake while he watched; what could possibly require secrecy in a home like this? He was suspicious of the drow, despite feeling no malintentions in him. Perhaps Ravenar was simply skilled enough to mask them.

Falling backwards out of her doorway, she had her belt and clothes on, and a hand over her eyes. Getting off the floor she heard voices down the hallways and began to walk towards them easily, used to navigating through lightless tunnels just by using noise to pinpoint her way.
Walking up to them with a slight bump on her forehead from where she had smacked it on the night-stand, she gave a fairly uncheery.. "Morning.." Before just standing there with her eyes closed and a hand over them to further shut out the light. Thinking maybe of finding some cloth to tie over her sensitive eyes later..

Yolanda replied to Ravenar in a similar tone, "I suppose that she would have the final say. If I can house a dragon, I can house a drow." She laughed softly and turned her attention to Imo.
"Well, would you enlighten me on what you usually eat?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. She had studied little of Dragons, never thinking that she would ever actually meet one. Then again, she never thought that she would see a Drow on the surface and now she had seen two.
"Good Morning, Lasha, I trust you slept well?" she asked, more cheerful than usual. Besides, it wasn't often that she had so much company. Still, the dread from last night still hung over her, however much she had tried to push it away. She sensed tension between Lasha and Ravenar, although she could not fathom the reason. The mage had thought that the two of them would be closer cosidering they were from the same race. Apparently not.
